I am a 15 year old student who is currently reading this book for class. My personal thoughts about this book are it is a very good informative book and meant to inform readers of certain types of baits, some rigs, and tackle you may want to know. I would recommend this book for people my age because many people these days are getting into different stuff and I feel as if people my age may want to learn more about fishing and what they can use. People trying something new is hard but they can learn the most from this book. The book is about certain baits that you can use, rigs that you can use, and tackle that you can use but it also gives the certain situations that u should use these for. The main characters are no one because there are no main character. This is a nonfiction book so if you don't like informative books or not having a main character this book is not for you. The book is interesting because you can learn many more things that you may have previously not known and you would be surprised at how much there is.

It taught me plenty about fishing, and a lot of it is sufficiently general to apply to all places; however, there's really nothing here that you can't find online. You're going to need more specialized, location-specific knowledge anyway.
