That all it took was a fancy-looking video camera and some inexpensive business cards saying you were a porn producer and the girls - young, beautiful girls - would come running? Begging you to record them doing . . . all the nasty things you see in porn videos. And if they couldn't provide a well-endowed male partner, well, I was always willing to help out.
I have been drawn to food and cooking as long as I can remember. In fact, some of my earliest memories are centered on my great-grandmother’s kitchen. My first real experience with cooking was helping her knead bread dough. Later in Cub Scouts, one of the badges I actually remember earning was for cooking a meal. When my parents and grandparents hosted parties and holiday gatherings, I always wanted to be in the kitchen, helping and learning.
My love for food translated into a reverence for restaurants and my family took me to eat at a wide variety of places so I started expanding my palate at an early age. I should have gone into the culinary arts straight out of high school. But I didn’t. I also loved history, politics, and languages, which are in a way also different flavors of the world. I ended up with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American History and then continued on to graduate school to study political science.
As a professor of international relations, specializing in Latin America and the Caribbean (mostly due to my fascination with Hemingway, Jimmy Buffet and Miami Vice) my travels to give lectures and do research have given me the opportunity to explore cultures through food. I sought out the most interesting local restaurants, some were big and well known, and others were two table, mom-and-pop operations, while still others were roadside carts.
Currently I am writing about the foods, cultures and the locales that produce some of the best flavors in the world.
Note: I think there may be an issue with the author page here as Shannon Stiles is a female, and the author is showing a male who writes cookbooks.
In any case, this was hot. There's not much to it other than the sex, and honestly, I found the male character unlikeable. It's first person from his point of view, but he seemed a little annoying. The women, however, are much more likeable.
That being said, the sex it hot and the language is DIRTY. (Cumming from me, that is saying something!)
If you're looking for x rated fun, this is worth the read.
Short but fun read in keeping with the author's long established style and theme.
As in all her previous books, the author keeps the story fast paced with a titillating plot. It is pure fantasy but with a lighthearted, playful approach. She has a unique writing style that teases and tweaks the reader's sense of humor. The one different element in this new series is that she tells the story from a man's perspective.
I have read all eight in the series and they all were good. The setup of the guy buying a video camera just to get girls and then turning it into an actual video business was a clever plot idea that I had not read about before. That each book had a little bit different plot than the ones before along with uniquely acting girls was what made them so good to me.
Charlie is a karate instructor. Great beginning, right ? He meets Cindy, a stunning beach babe and later her best friend Judy. This is a well written book and well edited. Significant sex, some humor and one, kind of, a fight. He is a karate instructor, remember. As a narrative this is enjoyable. Highly recommended.
Different perspective, but same humorous touch from Shannon Stiles. Still sexy, raunchy and provocative. Will definitely read the follow-up to this series.
