“May the lord open” IYKYK 🤣🤣 this kept popping in my head when they said their chant during this story😩😩
Anywho…. Brotherhood Season 2 was just as fire as season 1 and what happened during that ending had me clutching my pearls!!!!! OMG!!! Why is this so good!!! Where is season 3 because I need it NOW!!

While other households have husbands wreaking havoc on their wives, Stacie has cracked the code on running a house with success, love and respect. There’s no cheating and everyone is happy. Or so she thinks!!! Secrets are exposed and I was flabbergasted 🤣🤣🤣 you can tell from season 1 that they will HOPEFULLY move pass this snag I. The road but how is yet to be seen!!!

Well, gotdamn. When I tell you Desiree started book 2 off with a bang, she did just that. 😅
Everybody in this damn community hated Stacie and her husbands because they felt as if she was going against their traditional values and corrupting the community. Whole time … the community been corrupted and everybody fucking each other’s wives, husbands, dogs .. you name it. 😂
We got introduced to some new people in the community - Lawrence Wilcox and his wife, Deborah, Eva, and Nicole, the woman from the outside. I hated them all because everyone outside of Nicole thought that they were going to plot on Stacie and her husbands. Uhh, that wasn’t happening because Stacie told them I’m the biggest boss and if you think you can come against my family I’m airing all y’all’s shit out. 🤬😝
Now I wasn’t expecting the twist at the end. But I can’t say I didn’t see it coming. Too much shit transpired and I don’t think things can be figured out at the moment. They all need space.

Ish really hit the fan in this second book, my goodness!!
Before I get started - at the end of Book 1 wasn’t Stacie like 5 months pregnant? Did I miss something…?
Anyway, the Newmans (Staci and her 3 husbands) move to a community that is equivalent to hell, ok? The wives and the husbands are OUT OF CONTROL and it’s drama from day one. The Newmans become targets because how dare Staci run a happy household and be madly in love with all 3 of her well behaved husbands?! This community really showed the cracks in the Newmans’ foundation and I honestly hated that for them.
I am so invested in this world Desiree created. There are errors throughout but they didnt stop me from eating this up.
I can’t wait to see how everything ends in the 3rd part!

Whoa what happened?
I was NOT ready for book 2 like at all. Things escalated quickly and things took a turn...and it was not for the better.
I read this as a Kindle Vella series and baby it did not disappoint. This is not your typical love story. The first book opens us up to this community where Black women are treated as Gods and are allowed, encouraged to have multiple husbands. Well in this book Stacie and her three husbands Alpha, Omega, and Deuce are moving on up. They have moved into a more affluent area and all hell breaks loose.
The women are basically jealous of Stacie, because although she is seen as an ugly duckling of sorts she seems to have great control of her household, her business is flourishing, and her husband's adore her. In this community there are all types of rules being broken and it seeps into Stacie's household and just when I knew they were going to hold it together, the husband's break. Omega, I'm hella side eyeing him because I did not call his shady actions at all. I'm still not over his ill intentions. Alpha was his usual overbearing self, but I knew he would course correct eventually. He did work my nerves though. I knew Deuce was a rider, but he was also extremely fragile. I just was not ready for it to end the way it did cuz damn they had a good thing going.
I can't wait to see how this all comes back together.
This Kindle Vella series was definitely not edited, so there are misspellings and grammar issues but the story rings through loud and clear. Read it!

OMG!!!! Desiree is the GOAT!!! I been saying this for years since the Carters wayyy back when and she just keeps getting better and better! I love this story even better than TPS but I love unconventional and/or weird relationships that’s my thing (that’s why I’m loving her other story about the girl who pussy started talking to her! Can’t get enough of it 🤣🤣!) Anyway I can’t wait to see what happens on The Brotherhood 3! Desiree, keep doing what you doing because I literally live for what you put out. I’ve been here for it all the YouTube channel way back when, the write with me all that, the book in a book, podcasts all that. Truly a supporter. Love the process! The genius that is you can’t wait to see what’s next.

Mess on top of Mess!
Nothing is perfect; no person or situation. I like how this season of The Brotherhood showed the imperfections in the Newman household as well as that of the community. Them folks are mes-sy ooouuu weee! The season was all about uncertainty, questioning what was once seen as truth and testing the waters. I could not believe how all the men felt about Stacie OMG when those messages were revealed! I did not blame Stacie for her reaction, cuz I would have been out too. Alpha definitely needs to get himself together, he is main one planting doubt in the household if you asked me. Chileeee please!

Confusion
This 2nd installment didn't pick up from the first and didn't reference a time before. It was an interesting read with humor and drama, but left a lot on the table. Once again the grammatical errors were noticeable but did not take away from the story...ok a few did at times.

While this book had some great drama I just wasn’t feeling it as much.
They are finally moved into the new home (Stacie is no longer pregnant and no mention of it) but they learn real quick their neighbors ain’t it.
The husbands learn about it first when they go to the brotherhood meeting and hear how they are going to implement a curfew and basically share each other wives.
Stacey goes to the community meeting and gets the same earful from the ladies, but she doesn’t agree and doesn’t need anyone to tell her how to run her household.
Because she disagrees she becomes a target.
When trying to confront her the leader has a man put his hands on her. Which is definitely against the rules.
She tells her husbands and told them to be cool, well of course they couldn’t because the men provoked them.
When they all landed in jail Stacie kicked them all out. Alpha finds out she had been talking to his dad behind his back, about their household issue non the less.
Alpha ain’t having it and when they come back to the house they asked Stacie to leave.
Well she does and file divorce papers.
She moves out, but still talks to deuce. We shall see how this goes.

When I say I am STRESSED, that is not an understatement 😭. This book was filled with drama, twists, and turns from beginning to end, and I can’t help but feel emotionally invested in the fallout of my favorite polyamorous couple because WHAT?!?! That was NOT what I was expecting at all. Especially Omega?!!! Like sir, please come on now 😒. Stacie and her men took me through it with this one and I can’t help but see it through because I have to know how this ends. All I can say is Desiree can write the hell out of a book and for her to say that this isn’t something serious and just for entertainment is crazy because here I am all caught up in the drama. I just hope my favorite people can get it together in book 3.

Desiree, I think Stacie is really beginning to question what actually is good for them. This new community is not what the group thought it to be. The men actually have feelings that need to be addressed. I don't think this lifestyle fits everyone. Yes, It's A great thing to be cherished but at what cost? I think this may end up with some different view points. Alpha, Omega and Duece will have to come together or end this.

Stacie I know you are not divorcing these men. They were protecting your honor. This new neighborhood I’m not feeling. The amounts of underground, unsanctioned crap that’s going on is ill. Ohhhhhh my goodness! I was not ready for Stacie and her husband’s. The break off of BWS - Coleman faction in ATL is just bonkers. Alpha, Omega and Deuce…♥️💋chefs kiss. Stacie was seen as the underdog and unfortunately the less attractive compared to her sister. BUT her sister is no direction, is weak and useless.

I'm just trying to understand HOWWWWW we went so wrong in Season Two.
I love Stacie Newman & her mensss but this was NOT what I asked for. All the drama, disrespect & lets not forget the way they was acting up 😑 The way these other husband's be acting in the community, I just knew these men had too much respect for their wife & the household to be out here showing they ass. But just like men, they disappointed me. Especially Alpha, like WHYYYYY are you so hell-bent on wreaking havoc & having your brothers act out with you !?
As much as I hated all the discourse between the Newmans, I loved how this book really made me think. At the end of the day, this all boils down to ego on all parts, not to mention

Torn
Wanted to love it. It's definitely better than the first book, but it's still not even touching the Perfect Sister series. Plus, the amount of typos was irritating me to no end, lol. Of course, I'm still going to read the 3rd book, though, lol. I'm too invested.

Well, all i have to say was I didn't see none of this coming. This series continues to grow on me! It just went from bad to worse to gred day! Alpha, Omega, and Deuce sease to continue to shock me! Omega, especially, really had me picking up my jaw.

I was not expecting this drama! The way I’ve read about how the men dote on her and they are having those secret conversations. I know Stacie is devastated but Deuce will bring her back.

The story itself was great but the grammatical errors were HARD to get through.
The book is not a continuation of the last one as Stacie is not pregnant in part 2 but ended part 1 five months pregnant.
I really wish she would get an editor. But overall I enjoyed the story.

This was soooo good! I absolutely loved this just as much as the last one. Things movee fairly quickly in this read, but I was glad to see them still hanging in there.
