What happens when a love spell goes horribly wrong?

Reading romance is one of my favorite pastimes, next to horror books. Love me some Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
Maybe one day I will write in that genre too. Or combine the two......
**Do not diminish an authors hard work by trying to tank her by saying her book is AI. The amount of time I sit down to write everyday to the point I am now having issues with my kidney is not a joke. If you don’t like my work that is fine, if you want to point out things I can work on that is good too. But people messing with authors to get them to quit or lose revenue is appalling. I am not going anywhere..

Sweet, spicy, and fast-paced perfectly sums up the delightful book. what a mischievous twist on love spells gone wrong. Allegra believes she's found her dream man and her foray into love spells takes an unexpected turn when she ends up with a grumpy shifter who possesses a mouth as dirty as it is irresistible. The collision of their worlds sparks a whirlwind of humorous and steamy encounters that will leave you thoroughly entertained.

Sexy and Fun
Loved this story and the characters. The sex scenes were Epic. The witch and the wolf were enemies to sexy lovers. The grandmother was a hoo and added all the characters were hilarious at times. I wish it had an epilode because would of loved to have seen how large the family got and who inherited what supernatural abilities. This book is a short read but tells a complete story . I Loved the characters did not play games and behaved accordingly.

I like this short crazy but sweet story.
I love this short story it was so sweet but so funny how two neighbors that didn't like each , to fall into love. They both had regular jobs and had a love -hate relationship as neighbors but as a couple they are so great together. I like to see a series for her small close knit neighborhood because I feel like there will be laughs all around because the story by this author was just so funny and fun but still with it serious moments that keep the reader wanting more. I look forward to more books from AR.Williams. As always happy reading😊!

This you’ll want to read more then once
My loved Halloween, she would decorate all the time. Allegra being allergic to cats was just to funny. This was a great read, & the sex with Nick was off the chain, even had me wishing. This is one of the stories I know I’m going to read again, that’s how good it was

Nice
Short, sweet, and to the point kind of romance! I loved it! Allegra tried to ignore him and her feelings, but in the end, she just couldn't! Awesome story! I love bwwm paranormal romances. This one is beautiful!

short and sweet
I love this story so much so I wish it was longer. I know it was meant to be short. I just love the characters and storyline it news and different and am always looking for something new to read.

This was not it.
This was sketchy as hell. A lot of what transpired can be seen as harassment honestly. Just because someone’s hot doesn’t give them the right to talk about a person’s body like that. I’ve read a lot of short stories similar to this one and they all were better and I’ll give you a list of reasons why:
1) majority don’t start off with a man the woman hates, telling her what he’d do with her body. It’s gross especially since you don’t know the guy
2) There is no exposition dump at the end. You know what’s going on through out the whole story through the use of different perspectives. In this one you stay in the WMC’s head and it’s disturbing. Because the guy seems like a predator.
3) There’s ALWAYS consent. This was dubious at the absolute best because she didn’t verbally agree to anything. There was all these things he knew about her and what was going on that he didn’t care to elaborate on until he was literally inside her.
4) even in these short stories, there’s actual character development and chemistry between the love interests. This had none of it then decided to give us a lousy epilogue stating that they know each other well enough to love each other now. Come on now…
5) oh yeah and the others don’t have the dude BREAK into the wmc’s house and screw her while she thinks she’s sleeping and make her “sign” a magical contract forcing her to be bound to him, AGAIN while she believes everything is a dream and she doesn’t know anything about it until he tells her later.
In short ONLY read this if you want some words strung together and spice. Just hold the story and go straight into spice. If you aren’t in it JUST for the spice then you’ll end up like me and skimming through 1/3 of the book.

Blink and You'll Miss It

Oh, if this book had more time to develop I think it could've been spectacular. This is assuming the author would've spent the extra pages fully developing the characters and storyline more as well as checking for spelling, grammar, etc. Alas, it's a short book so it's done and over with quickly. I'm notorious for rating short reads low, this one I hovered over 2 or 3, I'd say it's maybe a 2.5.
Allegra is a witch and not a particularly strong one. However, around Halloween each year during the time of the blood red moon, her powers naturally intensify and she's able to cast spells that she wouldn't be able to do normally. And this year, she's going to cast a love spell over her fellow teacher James. She's spent a year getting to know him and think he's the one for her. The only problem is, her neighbor Nick shows up to rattle her thoughts and it's he who she can't get her mind off of long enough while she's performing the love spell. Allegra doesn't particularly like Nick and hasn't had very many interactions with him up to this point because he's an undercover cop and was being purposefully antisocial.
Several intense pages of sex later, there's claiming and talk of mates, then pregnancy. Did I mention it turned out that James was gay? Well, Nick wasn't and takes Allegra as his own. There were certain things let unanswered though and some facts that didn't tie together well. Allegra's grandmother who is also a witch gives her advice about the spell and whatnot but not too much more about background for either of them.
Anyway, short and not a ton to it but I was along for the ride.

Fabulous and engaging read
This was a quick read introducing two characters who initially do not appear compatible but who later are very much attuned to each other. Nick the under cover cop and the school teacher, who has a crush on his colleague at work. We read her desperation to get him to notice her, and on the night of the blood moon, she creates a magic spell... Sadly something happens and it does not work as it should. This is a humorous tale of living the wrong man..who turns out to be the right one. An engaging and romantic tale...Great job Ms. Williams!

I love the mate concept and the heat is on in this enemies to lover's stories with a bit of paranormal in the mix. Keep your legs crossed and enjoy this short story, I sure did!
