Not sure how I feel about logging something like this, but, having been recently diagnosed with bipolar 2, I found Mondimore's work particularly helpful in dispelling some of the stigma and misconceptions I had around the disease. The text helps to understand how mood disorders are in fact disorders. I would recommend this book not only to those who struggle with mood disorders but to their family members and loved ones as well.

Read this for some friends. Good overall introduction to the topic, touched on several aspects of it. It felt like it was more geared toward someone who has been diagnosed rather than friends or family of someone diagnosed.
