Cindy
She is twenty years old and lives with her Parents in Independence Missouri. She’s beautiful, but is pompous, mean and self-centered. Her father runs a number of successful cafés in Independence and they’re considered to be one of the wealthiest families in the area.
One day, her father is accused of being involved in shady business dealings and the Sherriff orders his businesses closed and his bank accounts frozen.
Cindy is shocked to find herself alone and broke, so finally decides to become a mail order bride, something she’d always scoffed at. He’s twenty-seven years old, a farmer and lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. His wife died a year ago leaving him with two young children, and he’s finding it hard to look after his children and run his farm. nice and sweet
Another nice and sweet read by Kat Lynne. This book is well written. Cindy a spoiled, poor rich girl, or a rich girl now not a penny to her name. Gerald placed an ad for a wife to help care for his two children and home. Cindy never worked a day in her life now she needs too. Her father lost everything due to some wrongdoing. Her father and mother took there life’s as they could not face the ordeal. Cindy was forced to make a choice of leaving her home and move to Nebraska to marry a farmer. Gerald never told Cindy about the children so how will she react to them? Well need to read and see. This was very enjoyable book to read.

Cindy and Gerald
Cindy was beyond spoiled and kept her haughty attitude for most of the book. She made it hard to enjoy the story.
Peggy was often referred to as “he” or “him”. Very confusing. I had to look back and see if the author was referring to little Bobby.
