What if I tell you that there's a book that encompasses the elixir to becoming your best self as a leader and entrepreneur by learning the art from the best leaders of our Sanatan Dharma and its scriptures.

Well this book does this task perfectly and the author has very responsibly and delicately managed to bring together this book which can inspire and teach a reader the tips, qualities, ways and means to learn and become a leader.

A total of 25 chapters each with a skill to be mastered and lesson to be learnt through excerpts and incidents from Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Mentioning some below for the review without spoilers.

-Relationship building with a strong genuine bond like Lord Ram's with Hanuman, Angad, Jambavan etc. or like Lored Krishna's with Pandavas and even Kauravs.
- Focus like Arjuna had on the fish eye
-Adaptability agility and acceptance like that of Lord Ram facing exile and abduction of his spouse or Lord Krishna's tactics in guiding Arjuna in the dynamic war.
-Commitment like Bhishmpitamaha
- Comunication like Hanuman's that Ram adored or how Lord Krishna guidance and delegated in Maharabarata.
- Staying contextual and Grateful,Time management
-7 managerial lessons from Ramayana
-Self awareness that comes with communication and good company as in case of Hanuman.
-Emotional Intelligence needed to solve moral conundrum just like in Gita
-Consistency,honesty and Responsibility in actions rather than being blinded like Ravan.
-Setting an example, to learn and then teach.
- Maximizing efforts like hanuman did when the sanjeevni was needed and showing leadership and resolving a sitution just like how Krishna tried to warn about the war and its end.
- Being confident when a roadblock hits you because you're given the problems
-To push your boundaries and test your valour just like Lord Hanuman's adventure flying to the Lanka in search or Sita Mata or having courage like Karna.

-Negotiation and decision making, innovation and creativity these chapters were my personal favourite because of its crisp organised and well written content that I related maximum to.

I can go on and on of what this book beholds and how genius is our author who managed to creative the perfect synergy with our epics and it's teachings that can be realistically applied in our lives.

Subtle book cover, perfect title, meticulously arranged content, authentically used facts and references, eloquent language and well explained examples are some of the many plus points of this book .

The purpose of this book as " An allegorical narrative" supports the Autheticity of the ancient texts and uses the absolute truth of the Epics examples in the best way that can be imbibed in modern times.Hence I am glad that this book and our virtuous author has called it mythology on a positive note.

Perhaps most importantly for today's stressed-out people, the author assures the teams that follow these practices can be high-performing and still achieve a nice work-life balance - something all leaders should probably aspire to for themselves and their team members. This is a straightforward, clearly written, and well-organized book. Although this is geared toward people in leadership positions, some of the advice and suggestions would be useful to anyone in any role.

The book has been divided into 25 chapters, which explains different characteristics of leadership. It also is quite inspiring and action-oriented. I thought the book was great for its intended audience by demonstrating the importance of leadership, the different stages of management and helpful ideas to implement. The system outlined in this book will lay the foundation for everything else you ever do from this field.

For the purpose of getting the knowledge of the culture and history I prefer the original Ramayan and Mahabharatas Itihaas. But when it comes to learning and picking up the good from everything, I acknowledge all the versions of them without any opinions about right & wrong or endless debates about how it should be... (society, rules, lifestyle etc.)

Here, the book also focus on learning from Mahabharat and Ramayan, that too for the corporate world. The place where your most important task is to handle people. Especially when you are in the upper position or in leadership role.

More than reading I was feeling like I am attending a seminar or talk in Institute about the topics of learning management skills from historical case studies. I just love the way discussion happened in book deeply with analysing different scenarios for a particular problem and situation.

First I thought it'll be another book of management which takes inspiration from our Itihas for explaining the topic but I was totally wrong. Author do deep discussion on several things which on surface looks ordinary but as you progress reading they will come out as pearls of knowledge got through deep dive into ocan of information available in our Itihas.

Focusing on the need to understand human psychology in management rather than just giving tips to improving skills and that too in brief chapters is commendable job done by author. It's crisp narration and short length make book easy read with never loosing interest in completing another chapter after finishing one.

I would like to much more about this book but I may be satisfied to have talked enough. These topics (Business Management and Itihas) are my favourite so I can went on for hours. So, don't think twice before taking this even if you don't want learn management for business as it's learning important for Life as general.

I want to read more like this so please tell:

Q: Which best management or human psychology/behaviour/relationship improving Book you read & recommend??

BE THE LEADER, NOT A BOSS!: 25 Secrets to be Entrepreneurial Leader: 5000 Years old Secrets from Indian Mythology

Author:Dibyendu Choudhary
My ratings: 4.5/5
Short Intro- A Non-fiction, Personal development/Self-help book to teach the reader how to not just order but lead people and progress collectively by examples from our epics.

Our history and culture have given us epics and they teach us and guide us a lot of things. Leadership is not everyone's cup of tea. A leader grows with you and leads by example and lets you bring out the best.

Our mythological epics Ramayana and Mahabharata teach us in the same way and I don't think that there can ever be better examples to learn from than our legendary lords.

There are 25 chapters in this book and each talks about a skill that one needs to become a leader. Examples and mentions of Mahabharata and Ramayana and how and who did what and what can be learned from them are well written.

Reference of Hanuman's Ji strength being hidden. Lord Ram and his bond with Hanuman, Angad Jambavan, etc. Lord Krishna's confident decision-making and Foresightnesss in Mahabharata and many more such examples complement the book and each topic.

Don't miss out on this book that can guide you and teach you the best lessons. The book is well written and everything is to the point and fits at the right places. The writing is intelligent and understandable. Every example is used perfectly and respectfully.

Recommended to everyone who wants to upgrade into a leader.

"Good working relationships will boost employee engagement."

Do you plan to become an entrepreneur in the future? Are you currently a manager or a team lead? It's not easy task, is it? You will need to follow certain guidelines and need assistance from seniors. If you are on that path, then this book is for you.

In this book, Dr. Dibyendu has listed out 25 'Secrets' in order to become a successful leader in the corporate industry. The language is easy and the wordings are not tough to follow.

The beauty of the book lies in the examples provided by the author with reference to our great Indian epics - Ramayana and Mahabharata separately. This makes us wonder that it's not just in the 20th - 21st century, but also in the dwapara and treta yuga that certain events could take place successfully with a leader and some were unsuccessful without proper management and good leadership abilities. Certain examples also show the importance of team work, team building and other such aspects.

Even if you don't want to take up the path of becoming an entrepreneur, I would suggest you to pick this if you are a fan of non-fiction.

The book shares the information or difference between a leader and a boss. It includes 25 secrets for working on ourselves to develop our skills and learn from scenarios.

The first few pages of the book share a foreword about human civilization (leadership, communication, and motivation) and the significance of successful leadership. The author used simple words to explain leadership skills, and it is also quite provocative.

Because of the pandemic, survival for an individual became really tough. People have lost their jobs and are ready to work on anything, irrespective of their education. It also leads to recession in almost all sectors. Many private sectors were closed without any prior notice or explanation. Though the pandemic was contained, its consequences lingered in society.

If we are looking for a perfect guide to starting our own business, this book would be a good choice. It also shares values, dos and don'ts, and strategies to be followed. He also used examples from ancient texts such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. These examples are thoughtful and easy to adapt.

The author explained the uniqueness and characteristics of entrepreneurship using case studies. He further pulled examples from ancient methodologies to explain the challenges faced in modern society.

The entire book is meant to explain the true meaning of leadership and its characteristics, and it is a must-read for any entrepreneur!

This book, "Be The Leader, Not A Boss! : 25 Secret to be Enterprising Pioneer " is a prime piece for careful and far reaching comprehension of genuine initiative, independent direction and hierarchical abilities. The tales as contextual analyses in this book through which the writer has enormously attempted to guzzle the previously mentioned characteristics inside the perusers is to some degree unheard, inconspicuous yet exceptionally fascinating.

Who is a boss?
Who is a real leader?
Are both the same ? Or they have a distinct identity from each other ?
During the pandemic time, every business entity suffered immensely. Each one tried to survive anyhow. Because apart from growth, survival was the actual need of the moment.
It was more like trying to float rather than drowning . At this crucial time, the role of a leader was highlighted at its most detailed manner reason being a good leader doesn't confine his work to his ownself but also strives for his team.
This must business oriented read should be read by all who confuses the concept of a leader and a boss. Both highly variated and different from each other. Quiet an interesting one to understand and implement.

This book could be a teacher to people who wants to learn the qualities any leader should have. I would say this was a very interesting read being my first non fiction read of the Year. The language used is very simple, easy to read just like a flowchart.
The stories that were brought forward from Ramayana and Mahabharata were my favourite parts from every chapter. They were pretty interesting and not just that every story teachers us something different.
