Ends on a cliff hanger

I stayed up late to finish this but it left a cliff hanger. I hate that. Now I have to forget about sleeping and start the next book. This was good. A series of murders are set in motion five years ago. And the killer has been reawakened. This was intense. The murders,were so random and trying to put them together was crazy. They called him the wingfeather murders and unfortunately we find out why. But someone wants it hidden. Somebody big and in the FBI or higher. It was quite intense. Plus she still hasn't found Lila but Lila is coming for her. Not to reunite but to kill.

Someone in the reviews of the last book mentioned the similarity to another, unnamed series, and I think they mean the Winter Black series, which is more well written.

Misspellings/wrong word choice, missed details or plot holes, seems like they didn't have a line editor.

FBI Agent Darcy Hunt is not your typical crime-fiction lead ... she’s layered, haunted by past traumas, and yet still fiercely determined to seek justice. Each book plunges readers into intricate cases involving missing persons, political intrigue, and chilling criminal minds - all while weaving in Darcy’s personal struggles and evolving relationships.
Ms. Sparks’ writing shines with taut and dynamic storytelling that kept me turning pages late into the night, and yet still rich enough with emotion that made me care about the people behind the crimes. The investigative details felt authentic without bogging down the storyline/s, and the twists are clever enough to have kept me guessing.
A binge-worthy FBI thriller series that delivers both heart-pounding suspense and a heroine you’ll want to root for from book one to the latest release.

I'm only a third of the way through and honestly if I didn't have a need to close the loop on Darcys main storyline, I wouldn't finish. The entire series is fat phobic. There are many references to Darcys need to be healthy (okay) and comments about others appearances like a belly that hangs over his pants and a bit of food stuck to his shirt. Because of course he's gotta be a pig if he's got love handles.

And I agree with another reviewer. There are several typos/missing words. The author requests that you message her with any editing issues you see, but I'm not getting paid for that. Lol

Review of One More Grave

I really enjoyed the book One More Grave by Eva Sparks because it was a truly amazing story of mystery and suspense, especially the emotional drama and action that kept me reading into the night. I love Darcy Hunt as well as her friend Skylar and all the crimes that they solve. They keep me entertained with each plot and mystery they are involved in and their past and present lives as well. Keep up the great writing Eva Sparks. I look forward to reading your next mystery story.

OMG!!!!!!!! I loved this book. It had so many twists and turns in it, I got several people confused at first. I thought the young boy and girl were Lila and Toby at first, but the I realized that couldn't be possible. I also had to figure out how all the murders fit together and that was a conundrum in itself. I can't wait for the next one.

I’ve enjoyed all these Darcy Hunt books so far, but I’m really getting bored with the through storyline. I think it has gone on long enough. I’ll keep reading because I like to finish anything I start. However, I’m glad there are only 2 or 3 books left.

I didn’t mind the small amount of typos, etc. I know how hard it is to keep abreast of the plot angles. But back to my original complaint, get it over with already!

Excellent read! It keeps you turning pages. Very mysterious and excellent clues that keeps Darcy busy. This book shows the dark mind of some people and unfortunately they exist! I love reading about criminals such as this! Excellent whodunnit. I would like to see a little less of the description of a house or place, this author has excellent talent for describing people and places but I want to read more about the case.

Plenty of mystery, suspense, and guessing who may be revealed to be the killer and how all the events tie together. Definitely gotta have a strong stomach for this one too with the manner of deaths described. If you like gory serial killer series with plenty of twists, you definitely can't go wrong with this one. Really love the Darcy and Skylar duo and the men Darcy has in her life.

I give Eva Sparks credit for how well she hides the identity of killer. I had somethings figured out pretty quick. My biggest complaint Eva Sparks keeps repeating pieces of Darcy's story over and over that's very tiresome. I get wanting to make these stories kind of standalone but they are not. I found some of the ending of story unsatisfying. I read on Kindle Unlimited.

A bit too slow for me

This Darcy Hunt novel was hard to follow and almost boring . Boring in the way that it took to lay out the story line. By the middle of the book I could care less who did the bizarre murders and why. For some reason I just couldn't get into this book. I finished it finally. I'm seriously thinking about being done with Darcy Hunt.

Agent Hunt and Agent Mills are on a case to find out who killed a friend from Skylar (agent mills) past. They were lead to a killing of 2 girls and 2 others who were killed 5 years earlier.

The way they kept on this case was a really cool. They didn’t let anyone stop them. Even if they got it taken away. They kept putting up work.

The ending though.. like OMGoodness.. (:

Great Adventure!

Great adventure, thriller, along with suspense. If you like a good book that brings it all to you, I highly recommend this series. It's fast paced and has all the twists and turns that make it difficult to pin down who the killer is. Thanks Ms Sparks and know I can't wait to open the next book.

I have never read a series that keeps me so into them. Darcy is such a good character. Her story is coming to an end and i hope it turns out to be what she wanted. Only time will tell

Good suspense novel

This is the best one in the series so far. The author has me hooked on the trailing story of the main character's younger sister.
