This is a short graphic novel of A Tale of Two Cities. It was very confusing to read it first. A lot of things in the real book were omitted. (Just my two cents)

Before anything else, I have to say that this was my first time reading a Illustrated Story, so maybe it is why I did not like it that much.
I think that because I have not read the original book I didn't enjoy this one.
One of the reasons is that the scenes were from one to the other in a rare abrupt way, and I think it was too simplified, which I think is the idea behind it being illustrated, but I still felt like, something was missing.
Overall, I just feel like I need to read the original book so I can connect more with this one.

I love the idea of illustrated classics because they become accessible to so many more and can be consumed and discussed in a much shorter amount of time.

The only fault is that the illustrations are not great- especially facial expressions at times.
