My son recommend this and I can see why he enjoyed it so much. The historian in me was pleased with the age appropriate information (although I may quibble with the use of the term corporation rather than guild). The travel through time and Kingdom of Fantasy books offer more challenging vocabulary and content than the typical Geronimo adventures, but they share the same spirit of curiosity, friendship and problem solving.

In this installment of the colorful series, Geronimo and company time-travel to a Neanderthal clan in the Ice Age, ancient Athens and Renaissance Florence. In the Ice Age, Geronimo and friends manage to kill a woolly mammoth and observe cave painting. In Athens, Geronimo matches wits with Socrates and acts in a play. While in Florence, Geronimo and company observe da Vinci at work and Geronimo’s cousin offers advice on tweaking the Mona Mousa painting. And just when they think the time machine will return them to New Mouse City, the contraption malfunctions and they are dropped briefly with the Mongols and Black Beard the pirate. They arrive finally in New Mouse City, but it is in the time of George Stephenson’s Rocket locomotive. Will they ever get back to their own homes again? What do you think? Each individual story has lots of informative details about the time period, its culture and noted players. The narrative is peppered with Geronimo’s jokes and riddles, puns, and a stimulating text filled with varied bright colored fonts and bolded words to keep interest high. Geronimo’s witty narration and the brief chapters will keep even reluctant readers and ELLs engaged and entertained. Back matter includes crafts, puzzles and games related to each story. It’s a colorful, fun and painless way for middle graders to learn some history in addition to being an action-packed read.

This book is about time travel and is part of the journey through time series. This is the third journey of the series.in this book Geronimo visits the Ice Age, Ancient Greece and The Renaissance. Each of the journeys were different and crazy. This was the best book of the series at least of the books I have read from this series until now. I like the part where Geronimo gets green pimples because of traps experiment and that made me laugh so hard. Geronimo did some pretty crazy things in this book ,things which we can't do now . he got to meet a wooly mammoth. it was an adventure filled book with a little bit of everything. I was really learnt a lot about these three periods of time and it was so interesting

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

Geronimo Stilton, was so excited to travel on his third journey through time. Professor Paws Von Volt had invented a portal to take his family and him to the past.

On this trip, they visited the Ice Age, Ancient Greece, and the Renaissance. They met wooly mammoths and enormous bears, wrote and acted in a play, and even helped put a bad guy in prison. The portal started malfunctioning, scared that they were never going back home in the present, Geronimo needs to find a way home. Will they go back home or not? It was an amazing adventure.

This book is fun to read because of two reasons -

◇ It is a history fiction book, which means it mixes history with fiction, unlike most history textbooks. Readers will enjoy how a regular mouse, Geronimo Stilton travels back in time and meet Socretes, Leonardo D Vinci and others with his prankster cousin Trap.

◇ The language is easy, and the pages are beautifully illustrated, that can capture anyone's mind.

### MUST READ BOOK IF YOU LOVE GERONIMO STILTON

This is a humorous delight of book! Unsurprisingly, the series resident annoying comedian, Trap, tricks Geronimo into drinking a liquid that made Gerry sprout unfortunate green pimples. Hilarious, as usual!

Looking forward to the next in this special edition Journey Through Time Series! Ha, these books are making me a history buff!

Livre lu avec Jenna. Vraiment bon. Le meilleur Geronimo à date. Un peu d'histoire (Leonardo Da Vinci, Socrates et Ghenghis Khan) et beaucoup de rire.
