Brought up in a relatively small town in Hertfordshire, C F White managed to do what most other residents try to do and fail—leave.

She eventually settled for pie and mash, cockles and winkles and a bit of Knees Up Mother Brown to live in the East End of London; securing a job and creating a life, a home and a family.

She writes gritty British based stories about imperfect men falling in love against the odds and has been accused of sprinkling a bit of humour into them from time to time too.

ATTENTION: Another gushing ahead!!! Fecking fantastic this book, guys!!! OMG , I have no words to say how much I loved Declan!!!! And Kane!! And Ciara! And this book!!
I started this without high expectations because, let’s be honest here, that cover is pretty off-putting . And the more I read the more enchanted I became and I started to wonder : “Do I know this author? And if I don’t, why is that?????” I checked to see if I had read any book by them and I was so disappointed to see that I have indeed read the first one in this series and I didn’t like it . I was scared that this one would be the same because I liked the beginning of that one too before it took a turn for the worse. But I kept reading and , Gosh , it was so worth it. I don’t know what happened between the first book and this one but this author have outdid themselves. The writing is fantastic, atmospheric and beautiful, the settings (beautiful Ireland) simply amazing and the characters so freaking real, every single one of them!!!! I mentioned in an earlier review that it’s pretty annoying to read books with widowers..Well here we have something similar (though not quite) but when it’s done so well like it is here the trope can be so emotional. You don’t hate the dead partner but cry for him like I did here. I cried for Cían, for that beautiful boy whose life was cut short , and I cried for Kane’s pain and I cried for Cian’s parents . And I laughed with Declan and Ciara , their relationship and banter was absolutely delicious , actually the entire book is sprinkled with typical dry self deprecating British/Irish humor although it’s not quite a rom com; it’s a bit more serious and emotional than that.
Kane and Declan were dreamy together, the slow burn intense and the sex was hot 🥵 and just the right amount.
I do have 2 complaints though : Declan should have moved those fecking bins!!! He was patronizing poor Jacob and I kind of hated it.
And second , the guys were 52 Kane and 42 or 44 Declan. Well, they read much much younger to be honest. It was a chore not to imagine Declan with 28-30 and Kane with 38. They really really didn’t seem 44 and 52.
I lucked out again with this book though I should shush my mouth ..wouldn’t wanna jinx my good streak lol

5 OH-WOW Stars!! 😳🤩🤩🤩😍
My first book by this author and I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions. 🥹 This book was both heartwarming ❤️and heart wrenching.. 💔
It’s a tale of 2 older MCs who meet providentially and sparks fly instantly. Not only do they have someone in common from their pasts, they also have the shared grief of losing the love of their lives with each having chosen a different way to move on. While Kane is looking for redemption and closure; Declan is escaping by hooking up with random men. Their paths collide in Declan’s bar in Donegal, Ireland and the pull between them proves to be irresistible.
But with so much of the past baggage between them, can they find a way to be with each other? Can Declan be what Kane is looking for? Will Kane find the redemption and closure that he’s seeking?

“love might not be all wrenching heartache and giving in. It might be something to chase. To follow. To want.”

This book gave me all the feels, it made me laugh (Declan & Ciara’s banter) and it made me cry (Kane’s vulnerability and guilt) . Overall the book was angsty yes, but it also had witty dialogues, humor plus it was steamy, with quite a bit of hot action. 🔥🔥🔥 Really enjoyed it. Its my first book by this author, but won’t be my last 😍 Love her writing!! Highly recommended!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Heartbreaking and warm and funny and sad and wonderfully romantic

It’s the story of Kane, who’s an ex soldier for the UN blue helmets, and who lost the love of his life, Cian, in an ambush. 4 years later, with his body healed, but his soul still broken, he travels to Ireland, Cian’s homeland, looking for a way to find absolution for being the one who survived.

There, he meets Declan, an out and proud pub owner. Declan knew Cian before, one of the few in this small town who knew that Cian was gay, too. And despite his cheery, upbeat facade, Declan has his own emotional scars, never settling down with one guy.

Kane and Declan, ofc, fall in love, and their journey together is full of heartbreaking and beautiful moments. If you like reading about two men who both have lived a lot of life before they meet, and you’re into hurt/comfort tropes, then you can’t go wrong with this book 💙

I was floored by this beautiful, heartbreaking, warm, fun, heartfelt story!

The story has the beautiful Irish landscape as background, I always wanted to visit, and now… even more.

Declan, the owner of McCafferty’s Traditional Irish Pub and Inn, only does one-night stands. He once loved and was left behind heartbroken. After that, he knew how to keep his heart safe.
Meeting brooding Kane Taylor, makes him want more. The man has scars, visible and invisible.

In the heat of the fire ex-soldier, Captain Kane Taylor lost everything, including the love of his life.
After four years it’s time to heal and find absolution. He wants to visit the land his lover came from and talked so warmly about, he wants to find the ground he’s buried in. Finding a caring Irish man wasn’t what he expected.

“God, this man needed to be honoured. Worshipped. Treated with care. He should be rewarded for every single thing he had done.”

There isn’t a chance to start a relationship with Kane, Declan knows. Kane is only here to come clean with his past, so he can recover. Still, their time together gives not only Kane a new perspective, but also Declan dares to hope he’ll find his forever in the future.

Both men are warm and soothing to each other souls.
Kane is intense, he kisses just as intensely. Declan can’t remember ever being kissed like that.

There’s joy and some angst, there are hard f* and soft lovemaking. There are many heartbreaking moments, but also warm, intense, and calming ones. The customers from the pub, the relatives, they are all important. Look out for Ciara, Declan’s employee, she’s everything! The Irish language was so convincing, I could hear them talk.
The scenery was everything!! Both men stole my heart. The author did a more than amazing job! ALL the stars!

This didn't work for me but it gets 3 stars because I did manage to finish it (by skimming the last 1/3 of the book). It's slow, filled with angst and manufactured drama and I had a hard time with both characters. I do like books that feature older characters a lot so I was excited to see that these two are in their 40s and 50s respectively. Amazing. Except that nothing about their behaviour or the narrative reflected that. Kane was a 48 year old army captain on active duty having an affair with a significantly younger soldier under his command. That's like really wrong. Super wrong. Bad. Why isn't he in jail or why don't we at least get to read about how he avoided jail? And why do people keep referring to him as a Captain? He's not in the army anymore and he was, presumably, dishonourably discharged (as well he should have been!!!). I couldn't understand why the author made the relationship and the fall out such an essential plot point without actually closing the loop on it.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that in the HEA here, there is a talk of the children they will have together (in the future? Like when they are 60?). What in the samhill is that? Not every HEA needs to include children for crying out loud. There are other ways to be happy together. It just didn't make sense. I get that they might not be having biological children but still.

Finally, the fucking issue with the dumpsters? Like just move them, asshole. Your neighbour, who lives in a trailer and is suffering from dementia, has a view of dumpsters that you could choose to put elsewhere and you just don't. Declan could easily have made someone else's life easier and repeatedly chose not to. It made Declan seem like the most callous of people. Yuck. I seem to be an outlier on this one but I just couldn't find anything to really like here.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4 stars

Irish Charm continues C.F. White’s Flying Into Love series about men flying to different locations to meet their forever love. The title here is appropriate as well, as the town Declan lives in does have its charm and so does Declan. This book ties in slightly to White’s London Lies series, as Fletcher from that series was Declan’s childhood best friend and first love and we get to catch up with him briefly years after the end of that series.

I liked the setting with the men being in Ireland and the vibe of Declan’s family pub. This series does not need to be read in order and you can pick this one up to visit with Declan and Kane in Ireland as they find the love they never expected with each other.

Read Michelle's review in its entirety here.

This was beautiful to read and I loved both characters and how they interacted with each other. Ciara (sp.) was a great secondary character as well and made me laugh out loud quite a few times. The landscape descriptions were so vivid and I felt like I was there. Can't wait to go back to Ireland and explore more of this amazing country.

C.F. White has written some of my favorite MM romance books. This, her latest in the Flying Into Love series is a perfect read for the Holidays...well any day actually, and will leave you feeling delightfully verklempt with lots of warm fuzziness.

The author has this writing style that pretty much gets you hooked at the very beginning of the book and does not let go until the last page. She takes very real situations with real relationship dynamics. The story can go in several directions and you are not quite sure which way it will go which of course is pleasantly annoying (from a bibliophile perspective). The story keeps on going not unlike a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows and oh-no-he-didn't moments. You hold on tight and wish upon a star and you reach the end with a brilliant and satisfying end.

C.F. White has at least one series that is a progressive story ( The District Line...HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and others, like this, that are part of a series but can be easily read as standalones. Thinking about her other books I have read reminds me of one reason why I like her stories so much. The protagonists tend to be good-hearted folk that have had their hearts trampled on to the point there is not a lot of trust left. The world seems to have kicked them in the teeth one too many times and that joie de vivre that we all start life with is gone. But serendipitously that person, or both, meet and through a very believable storyline (although some might call it magic) the reader ends up with a smile in their heart feeling sated, warm and fuzzy.

We need more love and happiness in this world. With writers like C.F. White, we just need to choose it. Put this on your list to read asap.

Charming, poignant, and sensual hurt-comfort MM romance

Book 3 of the Flying into Love trilogy packs an emotional wallop and plenty of steam while also offering the comforting sensation of a warm, wonderful hug. This book can be read as a stand-alone, no problem. Featuring a hurting UK former military officer and a devil-may-care, unapologetically single Irish pub owner, Irish Charm charmed its way into my heart and delivered a satisfying story. Please read the sales copy for a plot summary.

With palpable emotions and rich backstory, the novel starts in a place of hurt for Captain Kane Taylor, who’s come to Donegal for closure and possibly absolution. His grief over the death of his secret lover four years earlier hasn’t subsided, and after years of recovery from his own injuries and guilt, he’s come to town to face the man’s family and put his pain to rest. He hopes. Running into insouciant and all-too-charming pub-owner Declan McCafferty—whom he knows of through stories from his late lover—shocks him out of his slump and brings life into his aching heart. While the past could be an obstacle, instead it creates a bridge between them and forges a surprising bond that soon sparks something deeper.

Declan’s years of one-and-dones get flipped on their head and into the rearview as Kane seeps under his skin with his quiet strength, calm acceptance, and battered heart. The two men complement each other beautifully and form a friendship that soon explodes into heated chemistry as they’re brought together through local trouble, logistical circumstances, and eventually mutual desire to stay in each other’s orbit. Their blossoming relationship has some bumps along the way, but thanks to maturity and fragile yet open hearts, they find their way together into a delightful and poignant romance.

The beautiful setting of Donegal, Ireland, accents the story and invites a visit, and secondary characters add authentic and intriguing layers to the plot. With an at times moody, at times sparkling atmosphere and underlying joy, Irish Charm is a lovely, heartwarming read for the season.

HEA, no cheating or emotional cheating, hurt-comfort, eventual spicy moments, former military hero, Ireland setting, enchanting romance. Highly recommended.

My thanks to Booksprout for the ARC; this is my free and impartial opinion.

Kane & Declan

This is a beautiful story. Kane is full of pain and anguish that he slowly gets help recovering from after meeting and befriending Declan. Both men have issues from the past that haunt their present. Following them as they develop a friendship that transitions to more made for a great story.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

Irish Charm is the third book in the ‘Flying into Love’ series. It stars Captain Kane Taylor, an injured ex-soldier, and Declan McCaffery, pub owner. This is told in third person from both Kane and Declan’s povs.

First, I’ll start with the cover. It represents the setting and feel of the story, but I don’t think the cover model is right for Declan. The only part that’s correct is his hair style. Declan is about forty-two years old. The cover model looks to be maybe around twenty-eight to at most early thirties. Besides, his hair is blond and Declan’s is supposed to be a dirty blond. So other than the atmosphere matching the book, the cover model does not.

This book felt like a stand-alone within this series. I didn’t realize that the character Declan, is in the series ‘London Lies’, which stars Fletcher, Declan’s ex. Since I haven’t read that series, I don’t know if it explains why Declan and Fletcher are still on speaking terms since Fletcher left Declan. If Declan is in that series, can this book be considered a stand-alone or not?

I don’t remember reading a book by this author before, unless this is another pen name of an author in the M/M genre. I often hesitate to read stories by new to me authors, because I never know what kind of writing style I’m going to read. I decided to take a chance because the blurb sounded interesting. I was very pleasantly surprised. The author created an amazing sense of place, and I felt as if I was in Ireland surrounded by the people of Donegal. If I gave the setting a grade, I’d give it an A+. The author also did a fantastic job creating a cast of characters, each one unique and consistent in their personalities, that carried throughout the story. I give another A+ for the characters.

My biggest quibble was that the pacing was S.L.O.W. The story pretty much took place over a week or two. I was surprised when I realized this. I understand that the loads of description that made me feel immersed in the environment, and the characters’ intense emotions, also led to the feeling that the story dragged. There was too much description at times, especially concerning the environment of Donegal, and then add in the characters’ emotions and impressions about Donegal at the same time, pulled at the pace. I had to put the book down at times because it was too slow and felt like my attention was drifting. I’m not sure how the author could have paced the story better considering the atmosphere they created, but it just felt too slow.

I loved the characterizations. Kane and Declan were different yet the same. They were both linked through Cian, and how is revealed in the story. When Kane was involved with Cian, it felt like Kane wanted a home, and Cian painted a picture of a home and future with him until it all fell apart. Kane eventually made it to Donegal to find closure with Cian, and at the same time stay connected to Cian, Kane couldn’t let go yet. Kane barely knew Cian even though he loved him. Kane is a good man, strong when he’s functioning, and kind. He’s consumed with grief for the decisions he made that he believes contributed to Cian’s death. Kane was also terribly injured. He’s stuck in the past and what he lost, not only Cian, but of a home and a future. Declan seems totally opposite of Cian. He’s loud and unashamedly out to the whole of Donegal. He’s also callous in how he treats the men he beds, choosing one night stands over relationships ever since Fletcher left him. One question I had; was why did he stay in contact with Fletcher if he broke Declan’s heart? That was never answered, unless it’s answered in the related series with Fletcher. Declan was immediately attracted to Kane when he walked into the pub and wanted them to get together, until he found out that Kane was emotionally damaged, so he decided to be friends. The more he learned about Kane, the more he wanted him. Kane pushed all his buttons. Kane was attracted to Declan deep inside, but he had difficulty facing that fact since he still loved and missed Cian. The story proceeds with them learning more about each other and Kane meeting Cian’s parents and coming to terms with what happened. A lot of the healing has to do with Declan. Declan doesn’t think he has much to offer someone like Kane, which is an insecurity he developed because Fletcher left Declan when he was young. Declan believes he’s just a publican with nothing to offer or keep a man except someone after his money. But he does, even Kane notices Declan’s remarkable ability to deal with people and their problems. Declan passes it off as his job running the pub, but it’s more than that, it’s a skill. And that skill is what helps Kane heal. The two men don’t look like they fit together as a couple when they first meet, but the author reveals their secrets and develops their characters remarkably well, so that Kane and Declan fit perfectly together at the end.

Overall, the few things that bothered me in Irish Charm, was a pace that felt too slow at times, and some instances of confusion where there appeared to be head-hopping going on. Hopefully, the head-hopping instances were found and fixed before the book was published. Because of the pacing, I would give this book 4.5 Stars, but since I can’t, I’ll give it 5 Stars because of the characters and the atmosphere. I recommend this story.

A hidden gem, this sweet romance took me by surprise. Though the premise is quite angsty (as well as the first couple of chapters), it soon transitions into a sweet, feel good story about two wounded men who find happiness with each other. I loved the MCs, the level of angst (medium to low), the descriptions of Ireland, the secondary characters... pretty much everything.

This book is so diferent from the previous books from this series. Much more angst until the end.
I love it, specially Declan , the owner of the pub and the way he talks to all his patrons and staff.
Kane arrives for some closure from his army lover's death and meets Declan and the sparks are so there...

I really recommend this book

What a wonderful way to visit our globe! So far in their Flying into Love series, C.F. White has taken us to a rural French village, a Spanish tourist destination, and, in Irish Charm, to Donegal County in the Republic of Ireland. These stories all stand alone, and you can read them in whatever order you like.

C.F. White truly has a gift at describing things! This historic and picturesque waterfront town, centered around a traditional Irish pub, is filled with quirky and loveable characters. From the glorious vistas, to the camaraderie of folks enjoying their pints of Guinness, C.F. White paints quite a picture.

As marvelous as all that is, Irish Charm is getting five stars from me due to the absolutely beautiful hurt/comfort story of these two main characters.

Kane’s tale is incredibly powerful, and I got so much out of his journey. A wounded warrior, Kane is hoping to find peace in the birthplace of his dead lover, Cian. As he gradually acquaints himself with the people who mattered to Cian, Kane begins to put himself out there. Interacting with these folks, establishing friendships, and finally connecting with a new love interest, C.F. White shows us there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for Kane.

Declan has never invested enough time in any man to find happiness lasting more than one night. After having his heart broken by his first love, Declan never wanted to be vulnerable again. Plus, all of Declan’s needs are not getting met through the dating apps, and it’s become an issue in more ways than one.

I’m totally blown away by how powerfully these two men connect. First, in an emotional way - establishing a friendship where we can see how much they care about each other. And, finally, through a physical connection, which will knock your sock off. LOL, seriously, C.F. White writes superb erotica, and Irish Charm is smoking hot!

C.F. White promises the warm Australian sun (and an age-gap) in the fourth installment of Flying into Love, I can hardly wait!

Moving, good local atmospherics🌄

4.5🌟 stars
Loved the way these two, bar owner Declan and former soldier Kane, met and the fact that they had some maturity and experience behind them. Kane's tragic tour in a U.N. operation in Africa and memories of Cian, the Donegal native with whom he served, made it easy to get behind a new chance at peace and love for Kane.

Declan it took longer to understand. He's a bit of a wild man but his deep hurt from a lost love comes through in a very emotional confrontation near the story's end. After that, he had me rooting for him a new chance at happiness as well.

The secondary characters, particularly bossy bar manager Ciara, and the close village connection with their local pub, to socialize in day in and day out, gave the story an added warmth. The descriptions of Donegal painted a picture of a great place for anyone, but particularly a wounded soul like Kane, to rest and restore. Just enough angst and, yeah, even a bit of danger, to give some drama for the guys to fight their way through. And for me the fact the steamy scenes did not dominate the book really appealed.

Good writing, pace and plot made this a really fine read.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

A FECKING FANTASTIC SLOW BURN HURT/COMFORT SECOND CHANCE LOVE!

Warning ⚠️
This book has all the feels!

It made me laugh with all the banter between the characters and it made me sad with the storyline however I always had a smile while reading Declan and Kane’s emotional yet poignant journey to finding that elusive love…

I loved the concept of the book’s storyline and enjoyed the character build and dynamic between them that ensnares you as reader page by page wondering when will he be ready but in your mind you know as soon as he can drink that Guinness then all bets are off!

But Declan does not want heartache again so will he allow Kane to disappear out of his life like his first love did?

“there’s something in this…fate thing. I think you were meant to find me. I think you were meant to find my bar. You were meant to come inside and save me. From Rowan. From Jacob.
Fuck, from myself. You were meant to be my hero.”

Will Kane open himself up to a new beginning and fall for Declan’s charm or will he leave Donegal for good?

A slow burn that builds up to an inferno with hurt/ comfort and a second chance at love!

I voluntarily received an ARC from GRR for my honest non biased opinion on this book.

Irish Charm was a quick, engrossing read that easily gave me everything I’m hoping to find in a contemporary romance.

As if I didn’t already want to go to Ireland badly enough already, the way White describes Donegal has me wishing I were on a plane right this second. What a breathtaking setting for a second chance romance!

Declan is, as the title suggests, utterly charming (favourite character alert); and Ciara, along with the cast of regulars, make for a lively atmosphere. They provide all the character you’d expect from a story set partially in a pub. Kane added all the heart-wrenching notes in this story, of course. You find yourself waiting with bated breath for him to finally allow someone into his pain and for him to unburden himself, and can’t help but cheer him on as you watch him take each step. I also loved the unexpected link between Cian, Declan, and Kane.

All in all, this is a great read for fans of the hurt/comfort trope, especially. I definitely plan on grabbing a physical copy, for the re-reads that are sure to come.

I received an ARC copy from a thrid party with the promise of an honest review.

Jane and Declan are both tremendously interesting characters and the story weaves around the fact Declan is able to bring Kane back to life to face his loss and tackle his fears. Kane has as a military captain lost one of his men - in fact, his lover and was badly injured trying to save Cian.

He heads to Ireland to face his fears but first meets Declan. Through Declan who had also had an alliance with Cian, he manages first to visit the grave and then to meet Cian's parents who are strictly religious believers in the wrongness of homosexuality. Declan keeps Kane from saying too much but that lest the relationship between Kane and Cian's family grow.

In the end there is a happily ever after where Kane and Declan become a couple with Kane staying on at Declan's pub.

The book is one of a series. Since I had never read any of White's books, I would love to read the other books in this series if this is any example.

Sooo happy that Declan got his own story! Several years on from Fletcher and Jackson’s story (the London Lies series), we return to drizzly Donegal to pick up with the curly haired Irish charmer in the pub that is now his own.
Declan swore off love at the tender age of 18 when Fletcher left him for the bright lights of London. He’s had 20-odd years of one night stands and meaningless flings and has no intention of settling down until the scarred and emotionally broken army officer, Kane, shows up in his pub, searching for something in the bottom of an untouched pint of Guinness.
This story is so lovely, emotional and sweet. A grown up Declan who still lives and breathes Donegal and verbally spars with Ciara, his stand-in big sister, is a man I think I’d love to get to know. Kane is serious and sad, searching for closure from his tragic love affair with a younger Donegal lad.
If you have read London Lies you’ll find a host of familiar characters popping up in this story. It almost feels like coming home.

I just loved this book and characters. Definitely can be read as a standalone.

Set mostly in a pub in Ireland, we meet Declan the owner, out and gay in the very Irish Catholic town of Donegal, where being gay is frowned upon. But Declan, having lost the love of his life to a movie star, does what he can to keep his bed full of partners (with zero long-term commitment). But with the force of his outgoing, friendly personality he has won over most of the citizens of the town, even being gay.

A stranger comes to town, a former soldier trying to connect with the family of one of his fallen comrads (and it turns out they were very "intimate" comrads). His friend's death has left him a broken man with PTSD and with a broken heart. He stops at Declan's pub, emotionally drained and ready to give up.

I just can't say enough about how much I loved this book.

This is, by far, the best book of the series. Between the wonderful evocations of Donegal and its environs, the overall charm and authentic Irish ambiance, and the sweetness of the relationship that grows between Captain Kane Taylor and publican Declan McCafferty, this story had my heart from the beginning. Because of the sometimes overwhelming pain that Kane carries in his heart to match the scars on his body, and the unusual vulnerability of Declan in love for the first time, we've been given a chance to see two men find their HEA when neither was looking for one or thought he deserved or would ever have one. I can't say enough good things about this story, except to add that it's made me wish I knew where in Ireland my great-grandmother was from. I'd really love to go there, find her roots -- MY roots -- and enjoy some of this heartwarming wealth.

Emotionally tragic but with meaningful results.
Kane lost his lover Cían in a military ambush while both were stationed in the Middle East. After recovering from his physical injuries, he heads to Ireland to fulfill a promise made to Cían and attempt to repair his heart. There he meets Declan, an out and proud gay running McCafferty's Pub in Donegal. Declan sees Kane brooding over his pint of Guiness which draws Declan to this man who held the promise of his ultimate fantasy man. Both M/M characters are to be treasured and so is the secondary character Ciara who adds humor and reality flavor to this story. Any reader will surely love the immersion into this reveal of Irish culture. This is my voluntary ARC review.

This is the third book in the Flying into Love series, and I really enjoyed reading it. This was such a beautiful love story. Kane is suffering through grief, PTSD, and feelings of guilt. Declan is just what he needed to heal and to move on with his life. Declan is a spitfire and so worthy of love, although he has been unlucky in the relationship department. Declan is very charming and a sweetheart. Kane is beautifully broken and is an honorable and lovely man. These two men are perfect for each other. You could see they have an instant attraction and connection and their chemistry was real and passionately in sync. I highly recommend this book and series.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

"How can it be a good thing when it hurts?....Because that's what makes you know you're alive!"

Intense .... this book will hit you, so hard !! Hurt/comfort storyline, for sure, but with plenty of Irish charm and humour. I loved that the MC's are older (40/50's) and while there is a lot of heart-wrenching moments, it's tempered beautifully with humour, singing, hope, romance and love. This book can be read as stand-alone in the series.....there is mention of another character from different series but there's no spoilers. Loved all the books in this series - you'll be totally drawn in to the complex emotions and feelings but they all do end of HEA.

I enjoy CF White's book series. The one-shot stories are a nice read, but you don't get a chance to see the characters evolve in the same way as the longer series. This book was a nice blend of the two because we get a story about a small town bartender who just happens to be from the London Lies series. You don't need to read the series to get to know Declan, but if you did, you will get a chance to see his story.

As usual the narration was by Piers Ryman was wonderful, and I am looking forward to the next audiobook in this themed series of standalone books.

This had tons of emotion, Kane is suffering from PTSD and the loss of Cian, whom he loved. The author does a nice job exploring Kane’s struggles in a very real and meaningful way. Definitely easy to want all the positive things for Kane! I also really enjoyed the setting, one of my favorite things about this series is the wonderfully descriptive and beautiful locations. It’s also had some unexpected dramatic and exciting moments over the last few chapters. Fun read, Kane and Declan are my favorite couple so far.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Irish Charm was an excellent story of redemption, recovery, and love. The writing alone was beautiful, but the characters were so lovable I could hardly stand to put the book down. Set in gorgeous Ireland, the blend of serious, sweet, and spicy topics was smooth and engaging throughout. Hard to read at times due to some difficult subject matter, I cried with the characters and was so glad for lovely HEA.

Irish Charm, Flying into love , book three by C. F. White. I absolutely loved the characters in this story! So much so I just signed up to read two more books from this series. I hope they are just as good! This was the first book I’ve read by this author. The story was fantastic! I would love to read more about Declan & Kane and the rest of the characters of Donegal. Fantastic story!

He has lost everything, the job he loves and his trigger finger, now he is broken. He will move to Donegal where he hopes to repair but it is not going to be easy. He will meet someone who has everything he loves and they will meet him. Can it be the start of something? Will his life ever improve? See how they get on
