When I got jilted by my unfaithful fiancé a week before the wedding, my plans involved nothing more than ice cream, a blanket fort, and a bonfire of his possessions.
But my friends convince me that bitter tastes better when it’s drowned in Bordeaux, so I embark on the Parisian honeymoon by myself. However, the City of Light isn’t remotely charming or romantic when you’re alone at a table for two, so all I want to do is go home again.
Then I meet Lucas Fournier.
The gorgeous French-American bartender offers to play tour guide, confident that if I give him just one day, he can make me fall in love with the city.
Turns out he’s right, but Paris isn’t the only reason I’m swept off my feet.
Over the next twenty-four hours, Lucas shows me things I’ve never seen before (and I’m not talking about the Louvre). He’s sexy and funny and smart–and I find myself wondering…
Is it just the seduction of Paris? Or could this be the real thing?

“You reign in such inward retreats of my soul that I know not where to attack you; when I endeavor to break those chains by which I am bound to you I only deceive myself, and all my efforts but serve to bind them faster. Heloise d’Argenteuil”
As I've read and really enjoyed Harlow's collaborative past works and as I am embracing my new romance era I wanted to delve more into her works specifically as many of her books intrigued me the most (also her discreet covers are absolutely stunning and suit my vibe) so Frenched caught my attention first as it is located in Paris! like if you know me I adore Paris! and boyyyyyy, I ate this up in ONE day! during my whole experience with this book, I was swooning, laughing, and feeling the passion and steam and the flutters of it all.
The setting, the atmosphere, and the connection between Mia and Lucas captivated me from the very first interaction to also witness it bloom into friendship and then quickly evolve into so much more than Mia expected and taught her that not everything in life can be planned or that life goes according to plan but fate itself plays its own game.
This was such a waste of time. It started off good but once she got to Paris, it went downhill for me. Who falls in love after 1 day of knowing someone?! There was no real storyline & the main character was super annoying.
Wow I didn’t expect to like it that much but it was pretty good.
Only things that annoyed me were that it was super insta lovey and that she got with him a week after her wedding got canceled(she had literally no time to heal).
Other than those things it was kinda cute and I didn’t expect it to be as spicy as it was(don’t think it’s SUPER spicy after that).
Anyway, I would definitely read the other books in this series
