Jill and Brad continue to grow closer to each other. Jill flew out to Brad's homestead for his father's funeral and wake. Jill met Brad's ex, whom he is still very close to as a best friend, and they immediately connected and got along.

A horrible storm that turned into a hurricane came through causing damage to Jill's BnB along with a lot of other properties on Nantucket. Even though they suffered damage it can all be repaired, but upon learning The Whaler is totally gone Jill, one to not throw in the towel ever and give up, has broken down and believes they are not going to make it.

Jill meets Brad’s ex wife when Brad’s dad passes away. The storm hits the island and Jill and Brad hunker down at Bluff Inn with some guests and a menagerie of animals. At one point during the storm, Nathan goes out to remove a tree that is on the roof of the inn. When he doesn’t return, Brad goes out to help. Fearing the worst, Jill and Juliet go out to look for the guys fearing they have been injured in the storm

As this book ends, Jill goes out to view the devastation of the storm. Will Jill and Brad have a future together?

Romance, Drama and Mystery

Ivory Fields is able to weave a story with those three elements neatly tucked into Book 5. There is joy, sadness, hope, despair and fear woven into the lives of Jill and Brad, and the family they have created at the Bluff Inn. Each book ends with a cliffhanger, and Book 5 is no different. I look forward to Book 6, and you will, too! Don't miss it!

This was excellent story about Jill and a storm that does havoc at the inn and people working together to help each other and worried about each other . I enjoyed this story that was an arc copy and thank you very much.

I really like Author Ivory Fields writing style. This book has it all romance, trials, suspense, friendships heartwarming read. I love the characters they are well defined. I was given an advanced copy of this book and am freely leaving my review.
