Ruby's dream has come to a screeching halt. Taking it as a sign from fate, she returns home to Morbank Island and the Arbor Vitae Coven.




When she arrives she discovers much is amiss. The town is floundering as young adults reach their majority and leave in droves. A magical force is wreaking havoc on the town, and the business' are floundering, including her parent's candy store.




Her brother's best friend, Maddock, is also affected, enveloped in an unnatural fog of negativity. Now, only the return of the Tempting Ten and their combined magic can unravel the mystery on Morbank Island.

What a fab book. It’s only 161 pages long but it had my enthralled from page 33 and I needed to know everything. Great characters and storyline. I can’t wait to read the Tempting Ten’s stories!

Candy Conniptions is book 1 of the Arbor Vitae Coven series and it is a short, funny, mysterious, sweet romance, but never fear, it definitely has a healthy dose of spice thrown in for good measure.

I am a rather vocal lover of world building and I love that Candy Conniptions starts off with a telling of the complicated mystery that surrounds the residents of Morbank Island. How far back it goes and how widespread the effects appear to be. The way this book has been structured, it sets the foundation perfectly for Tatiana's book and the rest of the storyline as a whole.

While it would appear the major players are predominately witches and warlocks, there are also fae and vampires and I am curious to see who or what the big bad is going to turn out to be. It is way too early for speculation but I have my theories. And knowing my luck, are probably all wrong.

Anyhoo, I am off and running straight into Dreamy Delights (bk 2).

I picked up Candy Conniptions at an author event, and was drawn to it immediately by the bright, fun cover! This was a short, quick read - a light and fluffy romcom perfect for spooky season.

There’s some light romance and a cozy mystery all wrapped up in this short read - a magical force is wreaking havoc on the small town of Morbank Island, when Ruby returns home she must uncover what is happening to the town and unravel the mystery.

While there is light romance, there are some very swoon scene between Ruby and Maddock! Also, if you can get through this book without craving candy, more power to you - ha!

I will definitely be picking up more of the Arbor Vitae Coven series.

Really enjoyed this first book in the Arbor Vitae Coven series and can’t wait to read more.

Spells cast causing all sorts of issues for the town that need to be fixed to save the town.

In this first book we see the first of the elder daughters returning and how they begin to solve the problems facing the town with a bit of romance thrown in.

Can’t wait to read the next book and find out more about what is going on.

This is a romance, wrapped in a mystery dipped in magic. Ruby has been kept away from her home by a nasty spell. As things unfold, there seem to be more questions than answers. Ruby fights for her home, as well as the man she has loved since she was a teenager. Looking forward to the upcoming books in the series

This is the 1st book of hopefully a long series, a spell gone wrong, a town left broken. A coven that needs help rebuilding, this book is on the shorter side with 16 chapters but the author has packed in a whole world. I loved the FMC and how she just keeps trying. The spice levels in the book increase towards the end of the book so be patient!

I cannot wait for book 2!

This was one of those books that just make you smile❤️. Ruby is called home and helps unravel this mystery that is impacting her town, family, friends and loved ones. The characters are well written, it’s a quick read and leaves you wanting more. Plus you root for Ruby and her love interest.

This book was a lot of fun! I enjoyed the small town vibe and the family interaction. It definitely gives me old school Halloweentown vibes. 3.5 ⭐ from me! If you want a quick, fluffy read with an intriguing plot line, this one is for you. In some parts I found it a bit rushed but overall, well done !

I loved Regan and Tatiana's story. Their chemistry was off the charts🔥🔥🔥. Dreamy Delights is the second book in the Arbor Vitae Coven series and follows along from where book 1 ended. The direction this series is going is interesting and novel, resulting in me eagerly awaiting more stories. If you're looking for a new, fun supernatural series, look no further. Highly recommend!!!

This book had the right amount of magic, romance, laughs, spice, and story. Anyone who loves magic with spice should read this amazing book. Candy Conniptions is well written with a fantastic plot that will draw you in from the first page. I can't wait to read the next book.

Ruby is my hero. I love her character so much. I love that she does not give up on Maddox. There is drama and suspense. We learn of some manipulations and deceptions. Can’t wait for Tatiana’s story.
