Cade Locke and Riley Hart have been together since they met at the University of Nebraska. They are the perfect couple, bookworm, and jock. When their little apartment in Lincoln proves to be too small they make the leap to lease an old house in a neighboring small town. Away from the apartment life, peace and quiet is just what Cade and Riley need, along with their best friend Jessica. However, as time passes in their new home, quiet is anything they get. An old bunker, faces in the glass, and voices in the basement. Riley tries to rationalize the chaos. Cade worries his past has caught up with him and it has everything to do with hell.

scary to the very end

This is a dark scary read that keeps you guessing until the end. I couldn’t stop turning pages until I know what happened to Cade, Riley & Jess. Buy it for Halloween and it’s Halloween Every Day.

Creepy, Intense, and Surprisingly Emotional
I started this thinking it was just a haunted house story, but it’s so much deeper. Cade and Riley’s relationship feels authentic, like I could picture them as friends of mine, and that made the terrifying moments hit harder. The bunker scene had me turning on the lights in my house. But what really stuck with me was how the supernatural chaos seemed tied to Cade’s past. It’s horror with heart, which is rare.

The synopsis instantly pulled me in. Cade and Riley seem like a lovable couple, and their move to a quiet town sounds peaceful until things take a chilling turn. An old bunker, voices, and shadows from the past? It promises a great mix of romance and supernatural suspense. If you enjoy emotional stories with a spooky edge, this one’s definitely worth checking out.
