He lunges…. The world goes into slow motion. I can see him coming, see the pack shifting…. Sparks shoot, launching him back. Baring his teeth, he sneers, “You will regret today!”
Book two in The Last of The Moon Light Pack series. More enemies lurk in the darkness as The Argent seeks to rid the world of werewolves. The pressure is mounting as Accalia struggles with her past and what lies ahead. Only one thing is certain, the fate of their world rests on her shoulders.
As an independent author, I am drawn to the genres of Fiction and Paranormal Romance, with a special interest in shifter romance. My aim is to captivate readers with unexpected plot twists and turns, creating a unique experience beyond the typical werewolf love story. Above all, I believe in writing the book you want to read- and I hope that you will find that same satisfaction within the pages of my novels.
This ending was adorable! Ok, there’s a lot of stuff that happened in this book, starting with her father showing up! As usual, no logic is applied at all. She gets really emotional and blames her dad for not knowing she survived the fire. So therefore he is completely responsible for the hard life she has had. I would not have reacted like that at all. I believe I’d be happy to see he had survived and then, grateful he didn’t die, actually talk with him. Maybe it’s because she’s so young…
Anyway, some twists and turns, and we end with babies and a continuation of the pack after all. Well written and decent characters, with a minimum of mistakes. Slightly tropey, hence one star off.
KU read, if you read the first one, you’ll want to read this too.
I listened to the first book on audible and was left hanging from the cliffhanger ending, so invested in the characters that I ran to the Kindle website to pick up this to find out what happened next! I read it in one sitting- couldn't put it down and have never been so emotionally invested in characters and a plot... not in a long long time! Read it- you won't regret it. Strong female characters that pull you in and don't let go. this
OH. MY. MOON. 🌕🔥 If The Last of the Moon Light Pack had me on edge, Risen had me feral. Like—throw-the-book, pace-the-room, text-your-best-friend-in-ALL-CAPS feral. Accalia? Still the last of her pack. Still the chosen one. Still trying to survive a world that wants her either dead or broken. But plot twist: she’s RISING. Literally and emotionally. The Moon Goddess said, “Get up, queen.” 👑🐺
It’s giving “Lone Wolf Turned Goddess” energy, sprinkled with heartbreak, chaos, and a little spice. You’ll cry, you’ll cheer, you’ll immediately need book three.
Normally the 2nd book can lose its steam, but this one definitely didn’t not let me down in the slightest! I absolutely loved the conclusion to this duet. Both characters have so much growth and are so freaking strong not just for themselves but for the people they care about and love!
This one is definitely more emotional with a lot of what the No they did not, moments. You see struggles, pain, loss, but a lot of coming together and love!
This book really gives it all to you, shifters, magic, villains and action packed scenes. This is definitely a duet you don’t want to skip! I’ve had it on my tbr list for a little while and I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner!
7 Wows ~ What a wonderful story, An edge of your seat story. ❤️🔥❤️🔥
I had to read the book all the way through with bathroom and eat breaks. It was worth it. Of course it is 3:00am and I am too round up to sleep. 🥵 Samantha Abbott evokes all of your emotions in her creative characters, scenes and plots. It is a MUST read series. I wish she would consider another book after this one. It would be so much fun to see all the trouble the kids make. Bravo
No spoilers but omg I never seen the traitor coming I was shocked so be ready, getting ready for battle with so much loss happening around their pack will Ryker and Accailas pack be able to take down the argents and will she master her moon goddess power?? Read to find out.
Book 2 starts off with a bang and the twists keep coming. There was a reveal I didn't see coming and I loved the surprise. So much love, drama, intrigue and sadness rolled into 1 book. Would highly recommend this duet.
