Are criminal organisations working to disrupt countries and their systems of power? The answer lies under Colville Mews, a secret hub where all British Intelligence gathers to collaborate.
Peter Blake retired from the Royal Marines until a covert agency handler, Colonel Sam Miller, recruits him to help destroy the submarine base K-825 in occupied Crimea. He’d had a stellar career, and wasn’t ready to retire, so the mission was heaven sent.
Crimea occupation commander, Russian General Sokolov, has two RS28 Sarmat nuclear warheads for sale. Their mission to blow the base uncovers a global conspiracy, leading the team into the jungles and caves of Southeast Asia, then to an abandoned island leper colony, the Green Line in Cyprus, a botched assassination and the militarised Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.

The Network is a fast-paced action/spy thriller with rich characters and unique settings worldwide. This compulsive read takes up the challenges of storytelling in the genre set out by Lee Child, Robert Ludlum and Mark Dawson.
This book was a total genre jump for me, and it was well worth it! My favourite books are ones that take you into the story before you know it, that make it easy to read page after page until you finish the book without realising what time it is.
I found the characters complex and well written, the story matched the character, it was exciting, stomach churning and far more realistic than a Bond story. :)
I found the detail to be the best part of this book, it helps create an immersive world that allows the reader to become part of the story. It was fast-paced, engaging, and suspenseful. I was blown away by the author’s ability to write such phenomenal scenes. I can't wait until book 2 is out
Intense from the start to finish... Character build up is amazing and the plot is never stagnant crossing from continents to continents. Highly recommended
Enthralled from start to finish, brilliantly plotted, felt the author has carved his own space within the action/Spy thriller genre and with a contemporary backdrop. Highly recommended.
