Another excellent addition to the May Moore Series. I like that Pierce has finally allowed the sisters to find some common ground and work together. They get some interesting information about their missing sister, which will hopefully push that investigation along. I also enjoyed the change between May and Owen and hope that something comes from that. I’m sure we won’t have to wait long to find out.

This one is fast-paced and well plotted, with much more natural dialogue. Can’t wait for the next one.

May is working on Lauren's case together with her sister Kerry when she is called to attend to a new murder case involving the family of her boss. The case gets more and more difficult as May starts to unfurl the real stories behind the couple's life. She learns a great deal from this case, one is that she is never to dismiss her instincts and the other is that she should trust her partner, Owen is all her personal information, and doubts if she really wanted to have a life with him.
Never Pretend is a good and entertaining story.

May and Kerry are working together to solve their sister's abduction when May is called to find a new killer involving the boss's family. Owen joins May and the search begins. After they finally catch the killer, May and Kerry find some clues to help with their search. This series is getting better & better! Very good Read!
