In this book a kid named Jake makes a new friend named Yolanda. They both enrolled for the same French course. A couple weeks later Jake lost his job and quickly found a new job as the janitor but he had to drop out of French class. He was upset but Yolanda had promised to study in the student lounge, so they could talk on his breaks. A couple weeks later Yolanda went missing and so did some new kids and new teachers. Jake wanted to find Yolanda, so he went searching everywhere and found her with some other weird kids and followed them into an old boarded-up building. He finds out that they are vampires and does some research on how to save Yolanda. He ends up killing the queen of the undead (who was a teacher) and saves Yolanda and the other missing kids.
