A lifelong fan of storytelling, Kenzie originally studied film before turning her attention to the written word. She loves to read and write romance with kind heroes, crushes, awkward moments, temptation, and heart-pounding new experiences.
this felt like such a waste of my time!! I read it in one night because it was so short but that's one night I'll never get back. I'll give it some credit it wasn't the worst book I've read from getting a random book off of ku but it's up there. the characters were cute and the plot has good potential but the execution... let's just say I feel like 2 stars was being generous
Book 3. I started book 1 yesterday, and I am starting on book 4 in a minute. Just binge them. They are delicious. Fair warning: there is minor language and innuendo. And each book has a little more innuendo than the last. If you want more details, check out her website for content warnings (they're spoilers FYI)
If you like best friends to more, angst, jealousy, sweet interactions, monster movies, mischievous friends and funny parents, check this one out! And ya know, if you like to be happy while you read. :)
I love the friends-to-lovers trope, and this book was precious! I’d been looking forward to Lauren and Jason’s story ever since the first book and it didn’t disappoint!! 😍
Lauren and Jason don’t want to break their friendship by admitting their feelings for each other. One of the things they love to do together is watch horrible monster movies, who would want to mess that up? But when Lauren finally decides she wants to tell Jason how she feels about him, she’s too afraid he’ll reject her. So, her best friend Emma, makes up a plan that might involve sharing a bed…
Friends to lovers isn’t usually my jam but I loved this book! I liked the characters and thought that they had realistic personality’s for the most part. Another thing that I liked about this book is that it was fast paced. And it didn’t take long to get the story started. Which made it the perfect book to read in order to make it out of a reading slump. I also loved for Lauren and Jason’s movie nights! The only thing I would’ve liked to see more of is details and world building. Which made me feel a little less connected to the characters. Other than that I thought that it was a cute and swoon worthy teen romance.
definitely a more relatable but also a lil annoying fmc 😭 i love her but she’s so in her own head it’s almost disproportional to the amount of book. love the dynamic this duo has but good god i think i need to not binge these in hours of one another because it’s so highschool feeling and i miss stuff that has more like, romantic substance to it? not a criticism of this book, i know what i signed up for, but time for me to finish a current read and not binge a new book in 3 hours or less
This is the first DNF that I have given so far. I never rated a book this low before, so let me explain why I rated this book 1 star. I decided to give this book a try, but I stopped 50% into the book. Jason and Lauren kept repeating on and on in the book, "He/She doesn't like me back, and blah blah blah." It gotten frustrating for me, because they kept on repeating it in their POVs. Thanks for coming to my rant, thank you. :)
okayyy the friends to lovers is hitting. it was my favorite book out of the series but it was still good. jason was so kind and sweet to her but lowkey i did get icked out from the body suit thing at the end but it’s okay because he’s hot! great book and loved lauren’s parents
I love this book so much. I love the characters and I love the romantic plot love how she fell first, but he fell harder and goes out of his way to show her that. Totally recommend this book.📖
