This is it. It's time for Kazuya to enact the plan to help his beloved Mizuhara. Rock climbing, an artsy movie, and a fancy dinner--he's checked all the boxes to make this a date that would lift anyone's spirits. So why isn't it working? Maybe the big, fancy stuff isn’t how to get Mizuhara to open up...
Another solid volume with a heavy focus on our two MCs. The one chapter with the crying was very well done. The progressive panels did an amazing job capturing the moment. I like the focus this story has had over the last couple volumes.
Kazuya booked a great date with his favourite girlfriend to cheer her up. He spends a lot of money, but gets a bit too paranoid. He's a very resourceful guy who knows how to surprise, even if he doesn't mean to. There are lots of great close-ups of Chizuru, showing lots of different expressions.
The romantic progress at times is at a snails pace, which at volume 19 is a little frustrating, but it makes up for beautiful emotive scenes like the on in this volume!
Hug her, man! What are you doing?!?! A girl is crying, you love her, you must hug her!!! This guy, I want to smack! Another good volume ruined by an idiot.
