It's 1988 in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Freshman Emily Ward is adjusting to campus live at The University of Tennessee. Then the death of a relative leads her to a shocking discovery that not only threatens to tear apart her father's hometown of Greeneville, but also puts her life in jeopardy.
This is a GoodReads First Read Win!!! I liked the idea of the story but found the book boring. It seemed to move on a even pace with no ups or downs, it didn't pull me in emotional. I keep thinking that the characters should (and me) all be out in a field picking flowers, even the bad guys! I never like it when someone asks me if a book they are considering reading is a "good book". All books are "good" this one just wasn't for me.
