“ I know you stole my ring.” This quote shows the whole point of the book, a kid who was a suspect of a stolen ring. The book is called Aztec Ring Mystery. Aztec Ring is written by “Eleanor Robins”. It is a short read that is appropriate for you if reading does not come easily, and they need something short and simple. This book can be finished pretty quickly with some understanding. Depending on your reading preferences this could be an extraordinary read. This story takes place at a school were a man comes in with his prized possessions and then a very expensive ring goes missing. Who took the ring? Well, read and find out, you may be surprised.
I personally did not enjoy this book. Compared to other books that I have read, this would be one of my least favorites. I found it in a teen section but I feel that it should be for kids. I would give this book a one star for a few reasons.
A reason that I would give this a one star rating is that it was very jumpy. In this book I got confused often. When they had dialogue, the dialogue would repeat the same things over and over again. I feel like the way that it was worded gave away what would happen later in the book. The author in the story put in the dialog what you later find out happens. You already know by the way it’s worded in the first few pages what will happen in end of the book.
