My world revolves around my husband (who is a major hottie), my precious kids, my Vizsla’s who act like children, and the mountains.

I wear hiking boots instead of heels when I need to feel powerful, and on a bad day, I love a weightlifting workout. Actually, I love it on a good day.

I don’t eat bread because my thyroid doesn’t like it, although there are days I miss it. Especially ciabatta. Sweet potatoes are kind of my thing. Cookies too.

I write because I never stopped.

I was enthralled and captivated...
I devoured this collection of novellas.
And although I was sated, I still want more Alkarra. While answering the questions of what was happening out of our view while Bianca magic-ed her way through War of the Gods, Katie has skillfully laid clues and magical foundations that have me asking the fun questions. What comes next? My heart has been on such an emotive adventure and thrilling journey through the Network Saga Series. Katie's narration is superb as she brings her world into mine.

Answers, Answers, and more questions?? This book of stories is a wonderful look at all the things that were happening throughout Alkarra while Bianca was outwitting gods. It is the perfect follow up to War of the Gods and a great place to leave off as we say goodbye to the Network Saga (for now?). You will also experience the attack from the gods from the point of view of other major characters. Keep your tissues handy for this one!

When you get different points of view or more insight on certain events, it makes the stories even better! Though we get some closure on some stories and characters, the story of Alkarra is not over… and I am so glad for that! Hahaha

The beautiful ending to a adventure series that will thrill you and keep you guessing! It will answer all of your questions that you may have after reading War of the Gods. It has plot twists, turns, heart-wrenching, hope, and love. What a great read. Most unanswered questions from the previous books were answered. The depth of the characters, plot lines, all of it, are too deep to be contained within a single book. I’m grateful Katie Cross hasn’t left us hanging and adds more to the story through novellas and short stories.
