Holly Pointe, Vermont might be the Capitol of Christmas Kindness, but when residents learn their beloved Mistletoe Ball has been canceled, goodwill is in short supply. Lucy Cummings feels like a grinch for canceling, but the ball is a financial lump of coal for the Barns at Grace Hollow. If she wants to save the venue she manages from being sold to an out-of-state buyer, she’ll need every penny she can earn to purchase it herself.
After years away, Trevor Sherwood has come home to Holly Point—and to Lucy. The last time he saw his former best friend, they were rambunctious kids. Now, Trevor is a talented entrepreneur and Lucy is a very beautiful--very stressed-out--businesswoman.
Trevor and Lucy soon realize their feelings go far beyond friendship. But with their personal Ghosts of Christmas Pasts haunting them, are they ready for love? When a massive snowstorm shuts down the town, nothing short of a miracle can restore Lucy’s Christmas cheer--and save their yuletide romance.

Truly blessed to receive an ARC copy of this book. Loved this addition to the series and loved thy characters and storyline. I couldn’t put it down and read way past my bedtime on this one.
Holly Pointe, a fictional town near Jay, Vermont has it all! Known as the Capital of Christmas Kindness, it welcomes visitors and locals to its month-long December celebrations. I love the people in this community. I love how they care about each other and work together. All the activities and celebrations get me in the Christmas spirit. This is a town I'd love to live in and love returning to again and again!
Although each book in the series can stand alone, it's fun to read all of them to see characters you've grown to know and love.
In this return to the Holly Point series we meet Lucy and Trevor. Lucy and Trevor were childhood friends until Trevor mom abruptly moved him away from Lucy and his grandmother Hedy. Fifteen years later Trevor returns to Holly Pointe to visit his grandmother Hedy. Lucy is now overseeing a place in town called the Barns venue which her mother own but hired Lucy as the manager. Lucy is working hard to book as many events possible so she can buy out her mom in the future. We the readers find out both Lucy and Trevor have a lot in common with the way they were raised and that the bond they had as children is still there now as adults. As Trevor is in town and helping Lucy with her many events for the holidays we see how slowly but surely they fall back into the memories of their childhood and now learning about each other as adults. This storyline is more than a Christmas story its about overcoming lost, recovering from tough childhood and triumphing. A fabulous addition to the series
Holly Pointe is a place where Christmas thrives. And, the populace enjoys the fabulous parties and get-togethers during the season. Lucy is a determined woman who wants to hold on to her business, but needs to make money to keep it. Trevor is an old friend who walks back into her life promising things that Lucy may not be ready for. Can these two people find their way to each other? Before reading this wonderful story, I was in a reading slump. And, now, I have the excitement back. This story lightened my mood and got me ready for the holidays to come. This story is full of fabulous characters and a wonderful setting that you will want to visit time and again. If you want to experience a great holiday romance, pick up this jewel from Cindy Kirk.
Thank you @CindyKirkAuthor and @katerockbooktours for my #gifted copy!
Holly Pointe is Christmas and while this is the second in the series, this book can be read as a stand-alone. There was enough detail that I didn't feel like I'd missed anything. Having said that, this book is so good, I will definitely be reading book 1 while anxiously awaiting the publication of the next book.
The characters are brilliantly written and the characters play well off one another to make for one laugh out loud funny Rom Com. This book is so much fun, I found myself wanting to be there with them.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good holiday read with a dash of romance. I still find myself laughing when I think about this book!
I received an advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review. Have you ever finished a book and just sighed with contentment? That is exactly how Cindy Kirk made me feel going back to Holly Pointe. This tight knit, snowy, little community in Vermont makes for the perfect backdrop for a Christmas time love story. It's amazing when love is meant to last how it comes back to our focus character, Lucy. The same, rowdy boy she grew up competing with ends up being her forever happily ever after. I hope to hear more about the life these characters build for each other in the next Holly Pointe story. Highly recommend!

This book brought me right into the feeling of the holidays and small town cozy! Holly Pointe sounds like an adorable town with all business names being Christmas themed! Cindy Kirk has written a sweet romance that also had so much more such as an independent female main character and friends who turn into family and support each other! This was my first book in the Holly Pointe series and I will be returning to this town this month! Thank you to Cindy Kirk and Kate Rock Book Tours for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!
This had such a cozy small-town feel, from Lucy’s wedding business in beautiful barns to reuniting with Trevor her childhood friend. And who can resist a snowy Christmas in Vermont? Lucy and Trevor, are two people that obviously belong together, but both have abandonment and heartache that plagues their hearts. You’ll be cheering them on and wishing for their happy ever after.
Thank you @CindyKirkAuthor and @KateRockBookTours for a spot on tour and a gifted ebook.
This was a super cute, heartwarming Christmas read! Lucy and Trevor haven't seen each other for 15 years and are reunited when Trevor comes back to Holly Pointe. Their friendship picks right back up where they left off. Will they become more than friends? Give it a read to find out! It's a super quick read.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it.
The latest book in the wonderful Holly Pointe series features Lucy and Trevor. Both their childhoods were very similar but Trevor's family moved away, leaving his grandmother in Holly Pointe.
Years later Trevor comes back to visit his grandmother and reconnects with Lucy. Read the book for their story.
This book is a lovely seasonal romance which also brings back together previous characters. All in all another gem.
Another great addition to the Holly Pointe series. Lucy and Trevor were childhood friends and spent a lot of time together at Trevor’s grandmother Hedy’s home. Trevor was taken away by his neglectful mother at 12 years old and Lucy grew up in Holly Pointe. 15 years later he comes back for 2 months at the end of the year to be with his grandma. He reunites with Lucy and at his grandmother’s request, starts helping her as she runs a community of businesses and meeting/party facilities. Lucy needs to have enough money before the end of January to put a down payment on the facilities, to purchase from her own neglectful mother who says if she doesn’t make the January 31 deadline, she has an out of area buyer for it. Things get tense and feeling are hurt, but in the meantime, Lucy and Trevor become close.
Don’t miss this fun, close friends and community book for the holidays. You won’t be disappointed.
Apart of the Holly Pointe series, this stand-alone easy read will have you wanting to curl up with a cup of cocoa and read the entire series from start to finish!
This Holly Point Book is a very sweet, happily ever after story to get you in the holiday spirit. As a reader you are introduced to Trevor and Lucy, childhood friends brought together by their absentee mothers and non-existent fathers. Ms. Kirk does a fantastic job weaving in these new characters while updating the reader on old friends from previous books! Her descriptive writing style puts the reader right in the middle of a small town holiday where you can almost smell the Hot Cocoa and Hear the Music - You can't go wrong with this read!
There really is no place like Holly Pointe at Christmas. This installment features Lucy and Trevor who reconnect after many years. They have both been through hard times, neither of them with happy families. Trevor comes back to Holly Pointe to see his grandmother and the rest as they say, is just chemistry.
This really is a Hallmark Movie waiting to be made. I loved it and it really has put me in a Christmas mood. Another wonderful visit to Holly Pointe. You will not be disappointed.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it.
A very sweet, happily ever after to get you in the holiday spirit. Trevor and Lucy were childhood friends brought together by their absentee mothers and non-existent fathers. Fast forward to adulthood and Trevor has come home for the holidays to spend time with his grandmother; while Lucy is desperately trying to secure funding to buy her dream business. While easily read as a standalone, Holly Pointe will have you wanting to curl up with a cup of cocoa and read the entire series from start to finish!
Snow Place Like Holly Pointe is the next in the Holly Pointe series but can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the previous books so that you will know the back stories of the other characters involved. This is a story of friends helping friends, long lost friends to lovers and the magic of the Christmas season. Lucy and Trevor were childhood friends who bonded over the fact that they had missing fathers and mothers who were more interested in their own lives than in raising their children. Trevor's mother made him move with her and he lost touch with Lucy and his grandmother. Now he is back to visit for the holidays and his grandmother has him helping Lucy with her business that she manages. As they spend time together, their friendship blooms into budding love that neither ever expected to find. Lucy is struggling to save every penny so that she can buy the Barns at Grace Hollow from her mother but when parties start cancelling due to weather, her spirits falter and she fears that she will once again lose everything she holds dear. This is a heartwarming, sweet romance with the added magic of the holiday season.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.
This is a quick read. Since it’s been awhile since the last book on this series, I’m glad that enough details were shared about precious characters that it didn’t feel like I didn’t know someone. I enjoyed this storyline. I was very caught up in the story and found myself cheering for them to make their love story work. I enjoyed this clean romance story.
A great Christmas story to get me in the holiday spirit. I loved Trevor and Lucy together. Always love to see a HEA and the small town support. Another lovely and heartwarming read from Cindy.
I received my copy as an ARC reader and am freely giving my review . So nice to get back to Holly Pointe! Can Lucy buy out her mom or will her mom sell to another if Lucy can't make the deadline? Trevor has returned making his grandmother very happy. What will his return do to Lucy? As you sit back and enjoy the Christmas happenings of Holly Pointe, may it take you down your own memory lane.
I was so excited to be able to get in on the start of a new book focus around Christmas as it helps me get into the spirit of the year. Cindy Kirk does it again with another book, Snow Place Like Holly Pointe, which is set in the small town of Holly Pointe in Vermont. Yes, there are other books written about this town, but each book can read as a stand-alone. The story focuses on two main characters, Lucy Cummings, who is running the town’s venue, The Barns At Grace Hollow, that her mom owns and is used for weddings, celebrations and the towns well loved Mistletoe Ball. Also, Trevor Sherwood who came to visit his grandmother and assist Lucy in whatever she needs help with on the upcoming events scheduled. Trevor has been a previous resident of Holly Point from years ago when he was a young child/adolescent but was whisked away by his mom. At that time Trevor and Lucy were great friends. As the end of the year approaches, Lucy is focused on being able to purchase the business from her mom, but her mom is not making it easy. With a deadline of January 31st of the next year, Lucy knows that the only way she is going to have the funds to buy her mom out is by the revenue she makes for the last few months of the year. Lucy had a hard decision to make that affects the entire town. That being the cancellation of the Mistletoe Ball which brought more revenue for the town’s vendors and very little money to her and her business. This decision was not popular among many of the people there in town. Trevor is there to be at Lucy’s beacon call with the business and as he settles into the day-to-day life of a small town, he is ready to make a change of what he is going to do with his life and wants Lucy to be part of that plan. Lucy though, has had no thought of romance since her fiancé, Kevin of several years ago, passed away a couple of years earlier. As you read this book, one that is easy reading, two questions need to be answered. #1 – Is Lucy able to succeed purchasing The Barns from her mom and do it with the towns people supporting her in whatever way she needs. #2 – In the midst of all that is going on, can Lucy truly realize that it is time to let go of Kevin and realize she has the perfect person to let in, that being Trevor I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
There is no place like home and there definitely isn't any place else in the world like Holly Pointe! When Trevor Sherwood returns to Holly Pointe to visit with his grandmother and help her during the holidays he is reminded very quickly as to why Holly Pointe is a special place. Trevor's mom was not the stay at home and bake cookie types. Trevor was mostly raised by his grandmother, until his mom decided to move to the midwest with a guy and take Trevor with her. Trevor not only left his Grandmother, but also his Best Friend Lucy. Lucy Cummings has always lived in Holly Pointe. Her mother was always chasing something better, but not Lucy she loves Holly Pointe. Lucy runs the Barns at Grace Hollow for her mother, but she wants to buy them. Lucy has a plan and as long as everything goes right she will be the owner of Grace Hollow in the new year. Lucy has so many memories of spending her days with Trevor and his grandmother, Hedy. When Trevor left, Lucy was heartbroken. She lost her best friend and was too young to understand it was not his fault. When Trevor shows up at Grace Hollow to lend hand (at his grandmothers request) he is happy to find Lucy to be the same girl he remembers. Trevor and Lucy find their friendship rekindled in short order. Trevor soon finds that while Lucy seems to have it all together and to be happy, she has a shadow over her. Lucy found love in Holly Pointe once and he was a wonderful man, but she lost him. While it has been years, grief has no expiration date. Things heat up with Trevor and Lucy. Can the two of them both admit they have more than friendly feelings for each other? Lucy has so much on the line, when things start to go wrong she lashes out and blames the wrong people. Can the capital of Christmas Kindness be true to its name and help Lucy make her dreams come true? Can Trevor finally find a place to put down roots and not feel the need to run when times get hard? Take a Christmas Road trip Holly Pointe! This book was beautifully written, the characters are fun and relatable. The pacing is nice and easy. The ending is wonderful!! Definitely pick up Snow Place Like Holly Pointe!
Adorable read for the holidays! Holly Pointe, Vermont is the capitol of Christmas kindness. Trevor Sherwood and Lucy Cummings were friends when they were children. They bonded over the fact that they both had no father in their lives. They also had mothers that were not very nurturing. Trevor was taken away from Holly Pointe abruptly as a young boy by his mother. Trevor is back in Holly Pointe staying with his grandmother, Hedy, for the holidays.
Lucy and Trevor have had heartache and disappointment in their former relationships which has kept them from getting seriously involved with anyone else since. While in Holly Pointe, Hedy has asked Trevor to help Lucy with her business. She hosts events in two venue barns. She is trying to save money for a down payment to buy the barns from her mother before her mother sells it to an out-of-state buyer. As Lucy and Trevor work together, their friendship easily picks back up and sparks are flying as they try to ignore them. Trevor is very impressed with the town and the people who genuinely care for each other. The month of December is filled with many holiday events which makes this community more endearing. Take a trip to Holly Pointe with Lucy and Trevor and see if they are ready to listen to their hearts and find their happy ever after.
Cindy Kirk weaves a beautiful Christmas romance to warm your heart this Holiday Season! I have enjoyed taking a break from the Holiday preparations to relax and escape with this charming love story. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am happy to voluntarily review it.
✔️ Small Town ✔️ Romance ✔️ Everything Christmas themed ✔️ A problem that pulls the town together
I love all these things rolled into one book. Snow Place like Holly Pointe is the 4th in the series and though it can be read as a standalone, I suggest starting with book one (all on Kindle Unlimited!).
Lucy runs an event center her always absent mother owns. Lucy has the opportunity to purchase after the holiday season if everything goes right. Trevor was Lucy's best friend as kid. He moved away at age 12 and hasn't been back until now.
Sparks fly from the beginning but Lucy has a lot of past to work through and same goes for Trevor. Their growth into something more was perfect and believable! Kirk nailed it with their relationship.
🎄I love this little town and wish it were a real place to visit. The Christmas themed foods (including pasta) were super corny and I loved it. I would love to find a place with all these town activities- reindeer games and a town dance, and all the snow... ❄️
I didn't care for the way some of the towns people treated Lucy as ahe was making tough decisions, that were for the best interest of the town. I wanted her to stand up a little more for herself.
Overall, this was a great kick off for my holiday season reading! A perfect book to read by the Christmas tree with a fire burning. I definitely want to check out the first 3 in the series ❤️
Thank you Cindy Kirk and Kate Rock Book Tours for my Ecopy
If you love holiday reads that feel like Hallmark movies, then you will enjoy this delightful story of second-chance love!
Lucy lost the love of her life to cancer five years ago. She still struggles to move on, even though he had encouraged her to do so, with one stipulation, “Find someone who loves Christmas!”
Trevor is recently out of a broken engagement. When he returns to Holly Pointe to visit his grandmother, he is reunited with his childhood best friend, Lucy.
Both Lucy and Trevor are immediately attracted to one another and within a week, they are not just falling in love, they are IN love! Lucy holds back a bit as she has to truly put her past behind her.
This one feels like a Hallmark movie because it is set in a snow-covered Vermont town. The town promotes kindness and is a big tourist attraction as people travel to experience culinary delights (Caramel apple cake, anyone?) and fun events, like a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas caroling, and Sled Bowling. However, the town has a big problem… the community and visitors are all upset that the annual Mistletoe Ball has been cancelled!
Lucy manages the usual venue for the dance, but feels forced to cancel it for the year, so she can have the funds to buy the venue. The residents keep pointing out how important the ball is to them. Can Lucy find a way to make everyone happy by providing the Mistletoe Ball?
This is a perfect holiday read for anyone who loves Christmas festivities, small towns, and falling in love!
Thank you @CindyKirkAuthor @KateRockBookTours for my digital copy! My thoughts are my own!
Cancel the Mistletoe Ball??? No way! How could she?? That’s all she’s been hearing since she made the announcement. Lucy Cummings, manager of Grace Hollow, home of “The Barns”, is poised to buy them if she can only raise enough money. Time is against her, so when she has the chance to earn some more money to do that, she takes it but it means cancelling a time honored tradition in Holly Pointe – The Mistletoe Ball. Lucy is used to fending for herself and doing things all on her own. She wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need…except herself. Holly Pointe is well known for its generous spirit, especially at Christmas. It’s nickname is The Capital of Christmas Kindness, after all. Who would’ve thought the residents of such a village would turn on her?
Enter Trevor Sherwood, Lucy’s retired assistant’s grandson and long-ago childhood friend. As they get to know each other again, they find their friendship growing into something bigger and more intimate. Trevor wants more than to help Lucy achieve her dreams – he wants to BE her dream! Will stress from running the business, trying to earn enough revenue to buy the business, hate and discontent among the residents of Holly Pointe, and cancelled events be enough to make Lucy give up? Has her reaction to all of it driven Trevor away for good? Most of all will the town of Holly Pointe regain their title of Capital of Christmas Kindness by helping instead of hindering Lucy’s dream? Dive into this wonderful Christmas feel good book and you won’t be disappointed!! Thanks for a great read, Cindy!!
Snow Place Like Holly Pointe is the next in the Holly Pointe series (just one of many amazing series’ of books by the incredible Cindy Kirk). This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of this series (which allows you to get to know each character & their back stories) , which I personally love. reading the previous books so that you will know the back stories.
This story is a real heart warmer, a perfect read for the festive season. It’s a story about an amazing community of friends who embody the Christmas spirit. Beautifully written, this is a story tells a tale how a community comes together to help each other in times of need. It’s also tells a story of how long lost friends reconnect regardless of the amount of time apart. The main characters of this book are Lucy & Trevor. Both Lucy & Trevor were childhood best friends who bonded over their lack of parental love or care. Both sets of parents were more interested in their own lives than in raising their children. Trevor & Lucy lost touch when his mother unexpectedly made him move far away from Holly Pointe. Trevor is back to visit for the holidays to visit his grandmother Hedy. Trevor’s grandmother has asked him to help Lucy with her business that she manages. As they spend time together, will they reconnect? Will love blossom? You will have to read this book to find out.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Holly Pointe is made for Christmas and is at it again. Lucy Cummings is working tirelessly at Grace Hollow so she can purchase it from her mother. To do that, she must cancel the Mistletoe Ball. A ball that the community looks forward to and the huge donation it provides. Unfortunately the community was not on board with this decision, even it means that Grace Hollow would be purchased by an out-of-town buyer. Lucy was dedicated to keeping the management of the Barns in Holly Pointe. Fortunately her retired assistant sent in reinforcements to help.
Trevor Sherwood used to live in Holly Pointe and was forced to leave at the age of 12. He and Lucy were always close but grew apart once he left. Trevor is back to visit his grandmother for Christmas and helps Lucy at the Barns. He and Lucy start spending time together and it’s like he never left. Will their friendship turn into real feelings? Both have people in their lives they were engaged to but it didn’t work out. Lucy is dealing with feelings of betrayal of her dead fiancé.
Readers will get to know the people in Holly Pointe. The capital of Christmas Kindness will need to come together to keep Grace Hollows in Hollow Pointe. I hope to see more of Holly Pointe especially Lucy’s friends.
Snow Pointe Like Holly Pointe is the latest in the Holly Pointe series & I absolutely loved this book! Living in Melbourne, Australia, I’d love to live in Vermont & have white Christmases. Holly Pointe is known as the Capital of Christmas Kindness & every December enjoys a flurry of tourists wanting to partake in their month-long festivities. Every year the residents of Holly Pointe enjoy going to the Mistletoe Ball on Christmas Eve but due to funding issues, Lucy Cummings (one of the main characters) has had to cancel it this year & the residents of Holly Pointe are not happy. Lucy has tried everything to keep her business afloat & unfortunately, the cancellation of the Mistletoe Ball is one of the sacrifices having to be made. Trevor, an old childhood friend of Lucy’s, walks back into her life after fifteen years & lends a hand at The Barns (Lucy’s business) over the Christmas period. Trevor & Lucy were inseparable as children until Trevor’s mother abruptly moved them away from not only Lucy but Trevor’s grandmother Hedy. Snow Pointe in Holly Pointe focuses on Lucy & Trevor working closely together & reliving old childhood memories. Reading their story is a joy & highly recommend this book to anyone who not only loves Cindy Kirk but also a holiday romance.
