Traitor in the shadows is the prequel to the Ruinous Lies series. The series contains adult content +18
When I wasn’t riding a camel through the Rajasthani desert, white water rafting the rapids on the Zambezi, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls bridge or hiking the peeks in Pakistan, I was piloting a twin prop into remote aboriginal communities in northern Western Australia or staring down a microscope in a laboratory.
Now somewhat tamed, the microscope has morphed into a computer and I spend more time plotting dire situations for my protagonists than being in them myself.
its 39 minutes past midnight! Its that kind of read! Obsessed page turning and chasing the mystery suspense and intrigued that is Aven & Mannen attractive story.
Sexual tensioning is palpable and every push & pull scene they have together is fraught with WANT.
Aven has got game! But Mannen is brave and bold with highly confident cockiness he thinks he can control the wild little thief!!! Mission impossible Mannen.
Mannen POV in this book was keeping me in highly strung state as he was out manoeuvred each time by Aven.
Their wicked dance around each was fascinating. So hot to trot! want and need more.
The sex in this book is needlessly graphic. There is a lot of it. The figure scenes are interesting and enjoyable. The various gangs that run the city need to be developed. Perhaps that happens in later books.
