After the cataclysmic events on Manticore Four, Star Scavengers, Hudson and Tory, return to Earth to plan their next move. The alien superbeing known as Goliath has returned, and the only way to stop its murderous rampage is to find the crystals of power before it does.

Using their relic-hunting skills, Hudson and his team of Star Scavengers follow the trail of breadcrumbs to Tethys City, a distant metropolis run by the authoritarian New Martian Order. A crystal shard has been discovered, and Amelia Ash and the Children of Goliath death cult are gunning for it too.
The fight takes Hudson into the Martian Subdomain, a seedy underground province ruled by hedonism and a hunger for violent blood sports. The tournament’s top prize is a one of the ancient crystal shards that, if it fell into Goliath’s hands, would imbue the alien entity with the power to destroy cities.
Hudson and Tory must get to it first, but doing so forces them to take part in the violent games. Unfortunately, the Children of Goliath are competing too and, in this game, defeat means death.

They're back
No rest for Hudson and Tory ,goliath isn't dead and with the help of some misguided cult members and Hudson's old boss is quietly
regaining his strength with the completion of his job comes the end of humanity.

Hudson and his team are on the hunt to find crystals that they hope will help in the upcoming battles. But of course it is not that simple and others are hunting too. Lots of action, danger, surprises, insanity and lots of hilarious scenes as always. Easy to get sucked into but found it hard to put down. I had to finish it in one sitting to see how it would go and what insanity Hunter and the crew must go through. Just a riot and so much fun to see what the team is up too and must face.

Another great addition to the collection. but…
Tory didn’t introduce the liver pills to Hudson, Ma did.
Or maybe I’m mistaken? It is possible I got confused in all the excitement!
