Will her new employee ends up in jail or Maggie will save the day. It is another fun installment in the series.

These donut shops are anything but dull! There’s plenty of action in this well written book. The mystery begs you to solve it but it’s more complex that it first appears. The characters become more fleshed out with each book while keeping close to their underlying personalities. An entertaining read.

We got to meet a friend of Bradley from the Navy who he hired to work in the second donut shop he manages, but when the poor guy was the last one to see a murdered guy, he was first on the suspect list. I really liked this character and hope we get to see more of him. The showdown was tense and exciting, but luckily good backup arrived in time.
On the relationship front, Maggie was worried she'd really messed up something and made Brett mad for good. For the answers to any and all questions, you'll have to read the book! Let's just say it ended in such a way that I'm super eager to borrow the next one when it's out on KU.

Bradley hires a friend from the navy to work in the second donut shop.
On the night Maggie and Ruby meet him four thugs are behind the donut shop and assault Brett. Zeke jumps in and subdues the four. Then later that night one of the four is found murdered.Zeke is accused and Maggie jumps in to try and find the truth. Lots of action and surprises. A fun read.

This is book 21 in the Raised and Glazed Cozy Mysteries series by Emma Ainsley. Maggie, Ruby, and the rest of the crew are busy at Dogwood Donuts. Maggie and Ruby go to help out at their 2nd location. Trouble always seems to follow along. Great detective work helps Brett, the County Sheriff to solve this case.

I absolutely love this series. I look forward to each book. The characters are fantastic, the story is well written. I wish there were donut recipes they all sound so good. The ending of this one… can’t wait to read more.

love these
I got a bit behind, so now I have several to read. Maggie and Ruby figure out the murder mystery without really knowing that they figured it out…it’s complicated so you will just have to read this book.

Another great story by the acclaimed author! This story was both bold and daring! When bad guys showed up at the second donut shop they are meet with a resounding whooping! I'm happy to report that all is well for the next story!

This one ends in a cliffhanger, and I NEED to go binge a bunch to figure out what it's about.
Emma Ainsley simply does not miss, her books hit every time. I love them, and I think about these characters regularly.
