Lucas falls in love with Daisy the first time he sees her. Since that moment, his goal has been to marry her. When he loses his job at the mill, he is offered a post as a lawman.
Daisy loves Lucas but she hates his job as she has always seen her mother worried when her father goes away doing his duty as a lawman.
This was a great reading. Never a dull moment. I liked Lucas as he is an honest man who cares about everybody.
I’m happy I got the books of this series as they are well-written, and I enjoyed reading them.
I'm looking forward to reading the third one.

Texas Promise is full of secrets, promises and lawmen. All Lucas wants is to find his Father’s murderer and marry Daisy. Unfortunately, Daisy doesn’t agree. She makes Lucas promise to find other employment. She can’t marry a lawman. Lucas can’t either. Let’s watch their struggle towards happiness together.
