Star Harrison and Marco Daye were the true definition of a playette and a playa until they linked almost three years ago. Now they have a love like no other and a child. With plans to wed in the near future, they couldn’t be happier, but of course, happiness brings hate. Someone is determined to break up their happy home with some terrible accusations and alleged receipts.
The incident causes Star to take a step back even though she’s still in love. She’s ready to get back to the old Star, the person she was before she met Marco and let love knock her down, but the raging war between her mind and her heart makes things difficult.
Yes, Star is a little crazy, but she’s the love of Marco’s life. Nobody can tell him different. Despite what things look like, he’d never do anything to jeopardize what they have. With all evidence painting him as guilty, getting her back is not going to be easy. Marco’s not giving up though. What they have is too good to let go.
Star was crazyyyy. But Tanya was even crazier. This book had me one my toes. I laughed until i cried and i got a little sad. But in the end i loved it.
Baby! Star is NOT for play-play! Cause when she pull that extension cord out😆....
She and Marco don't care what they say or how they say it as long as they get their point across.
"And that ain't what behooved me! What behooved me was when Marco got Star high with him and she bit his ah (on the neck) like it was a piece of 🍖." 🤣🤣🤣
They were toxic but in love.
They had their differences, but love prevailed.
This book had me cackling from the beginning till the end. I didn't know how badly I needed such a live-wired read as this. It's definitely a page turner, and I HIGHLY recommend it.
De'Andrea I knew it was someone from Marco past trying to break up him and star but definitely didn't think it was the one that it turned out to be. I appreciate writing the story that even though things didn't look for him and Marco you didn't make him go buck wild. Marco stayed focused on getting his woman back by any means necessary. I love the family connection that all them had because that was also what helped them make it true the madness and girl the ending was everything from the moment the truth came out to the end
I was glad to read about these ladies and their men! I'm glad it worked out for Marco and Star but she really worked my nerves a lil bit. She showed how immature she was because she didn't believe or want to listen to Marco from the jump. Then what pissed me off was that she was willing to screw around on him without knowing the truth. Glad Marco was truly a real one to deal with her.
De'Andrea , thanks for the update on Star and Marco. When I tell you I was so glad Marco stayed true to his word, Star had so many disappointing people in her life that she used anger to out way things that made sense. Star was so afraid. I'm just glad it all came to a good outcome. Thanks for JoJo and Bless update. I really enjoyed this read. I will look at your other books. Good job!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
This is my time reading a book by this author and I really enjoyed it. The writing style flowed and kept my attention. The "drama" was very contrived but I liked how at their core Marco & Star were meant to be.
I love there story Star and Marco love it. The author has a unique way with words. " twisted his zesty ass out" that's enough to make me want to read this book. It's a must read you won't be disappointed. It's definitely my pleasure reading your books 🥰.
I am so glad Star finally HEARD what Jodeci had to say and stopped running on old hurt and emotions. Marco loved Star and was a real man about, I liked he didn’t go out in the streets cheating. I’m glad they got the Happily Ever After
I didn’t realize this spin off dropped until someone in 1 of my reading groups started talking about how toxic this relationship was. It didn’t seem that toxic to me 😂
I’m glad that Star and Marco got their own story. Star is a fire cracker but Marco was just the one to keep her in line. I love the relationship Star and Zay had. Latanya was a hot mess. Jodeci is the definition of a true friend. Don’t get me started on Star’s parents. Anyways enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading more from De’Andrea.
