What does it mean to be an Enneagram Eight? Why does it feel like everyone misunderstands and demonizes me? How do I grow into health and maturity?
C.V. Meo asked these same questions of himself many years ago. Since then, he has gone on a journey of self-discovery.
From reading all of the best Enneagram experts, to attending Enneagram workshops, to the hours spent in his therapist's office, C.V. has emerged with insights on what it means to be an Eight.
If you want to learn more about all things Enneagram Eight, then this is the book for you.
It's time to break the stereotypes and caricatures that others have placed Eights in. It's time to grow in self-awareness, maturity, and love. It's time to become more than just an 8-Hole.
There were parts of this book that I really enjoyed but I think what the author needs to realize is that not all 8s are damaged or had abusive childhoods. I had an amazing childhood with the best parents anyone could ask for. I have no doubt that the reason I’m an 8 is because my dad always took pride in my tenacity, athleticism, and strength. I loved competing and how people would always notice my strength and speed. I have been enjoying the suggested playlist on Spotify at the end. A lot of the songs I already work out or run to.
Raw, unfiltered, a bit cheesy at times…but to the root cause of it all real and true. You won’t be disappointed reading this. If you can get your counterpart(s) to read also, they might understand the inner narratives of an 8 and surprise you with how they champion you through this life.
