Twenty one years ago, Evander Laun and Natalia Havashire went on the air throughout the world on almost every news channel simultaneously, to reveal to the human race that Elves walked among us. It is the most-watched historical event in modern times.
Killishia Renner, Kia, after recently discovering she was an Elf too, along with the rest of the world when she Elfed on live television, has had a hectic few weeks with no time to catch her breath.
As the junior member of the Aelftus Senior Council, Killishia is tasked with being the chair of the Transparency Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. She thought it to be a great adventure, but found the Conference was anything but what it was supposed to be.
Instead of a place to share ideas and address the concerns of the thousands of non-voting Elf clans in the world, she was instead met with animosity because of the International Elf Council's neglect.
Kia is advised to just keep her head down and maintain the status quo, even though the unrest sparked a kidnapping attempt, what is the resident chaos maker in the Council going to do? Well, Killy is just gonna be Killy of course.

Killy, being the most junior member of the Senior Council, is charged with chairing the Transparency Conference, the yearly reporting of the Council's decisions of the past year, to all of the Elf clans with no voting rights. But of course the minute Kilishia is involved, things are destined to spiral out of control. So of course Killy is going to Killy and make it an even bigger disaster, because she's incapable of not doing the right thing. Look out Senior Council, Kilishia is making waves again.
A good addition to the Elfed story line. I am not sure if there will be more to the story line as the ending of the book did not have the cliff hanger feel of the other stories. All in all a fun read.
A good read, interesting like the others, but truly not as good. This one lacked action and was much more about politics and everyone knows politics is boring, especially if it gets preachy… and this one does. If you can get past that the book is still chalk full of fun, great characters, and interesting storylines, so there is much here to enjoy.. but bring back some action and less politics please.
I really like this series because the writing is crisp and the characters are believable and, most importantly, it has a plot. However, this particular book sort of ended on a cliffhanger which I didn’t like, especially since I didn’t really understand what happened in the last two pages.
This is a delightful chapter in the Elfed in New York story.
We get incremental changes in Kia's story and those of her lover and friend. But we also get some very good world building explaining the dynamics of elf culture and politics.
Basically just a straightforward good story moving the story along.
An interesting little story, which I enjoyed reading, but I’m afraid I found the sweetness a little too much and I thought the ending was a bit abrupt. If possible I would have given 3.5 stars.
An enjoyable cozy lesfic series, cute characters and enough of a story to keep the pages turning. I have actually lived in Thailand for many years now and the references while not perfect are good enough and better than most authors Looking forward to the next in the series.
