It doesn’t matter how he lights up my Christmas tree, I don’t have time for love.
I hate when people try to control my life, and as owner of my own downtown boutique in adorable Primrose Glenn, no one gets to tell me what to do. But when it comes to the holidays? All bets are off. The town council dictates everything from the decor in my windows to the way I wear my hair, and the only one who thinks there’s a problem with these yuletide fools is town grump Asher Green.
Asher is the last person I’d choose to help me show the town things need to change, but my pickings for partners in Christmas chaos are slim. It’s a good thing he’s easy on the eyes, because everything else about him is, er, harder than hard.
If we want to take down the town council bullies we’ll have to stick together like red and white on a candy cane. Except, there’s more to Asher Green than I ever thought possible, and feelings are starting to run me over like reindeer on a rooftop. I don’t want a relationship… but I can’t say no to a meeting under the mistletoe.
Misfits and Mistletoe is a standalone small town Christmas romantic comedy with a lot of heart and heat.
Brittany Kelley has done it again! Misfits and Mistletoe is my first Christmas book of the season and it’s definitely putting me in a festive frame of mind!
When Quinn Campbell fled an abusive relationship two years ago, she vowed to never again fall in love so hard and so easily. She moved as far away as she could and settled down in Primrose Glenn, adopted her dog Bella Swan and fulfilled her dream of opening a boutique, The Blackbird. Christmas should fill her with joy, but the city council instead makes it fill her with dread. The same tired, outdated decor year after year, and now the council chair is saying she has to change her own hair to match the town aesthetic! It’s crazy! After giving an impassioned (but failed) speech at the council meeting, no one gives Quinn a second thought. Well, except Asher Green - the carpenter who owns a shop nearby in the town square. Asher Green has had a crush on Quinn forever. And when she sits next to him at that council meeting, he can’t believe his luck. He also is itching to help her plan a little mischief to shake up the Christmas plans the council has.
Ok, so, to start - it’s been a rough couple months for me personally and professionally. I’ve not been able to finish a book in an embarrassingly long time. And it made me sad. When Brittany sent out the ARCs for this book I was worried I wouldn’t end up reading it. And wow, am I glad that I pushed myself to open it! This book was just the pick me up I needed! It’s relatively short and easy to read. Brittany has a cute writing style and it just flows from page to page.
Quinn is a little gun shy about relationships after her last one. A common theme for her throughout the novel is her hesitancy to trust her own feelings. She and Asher have definite chemistry and she’s very conscious of loving potentially too fast. Which gives her a very hot/cold personality at times. She’ll be happy and bubbly with Asher one minute, then instantly back off the next. It makes sense for her character and it’s nice to see her work through this as the book progresses. Asher is just an all around good man. A cinnamon roll lead, if you will. He doesn’t push Quinn, he’s sensitive to her needs and is very vocal in his understanding. He tells her several times that she’s the one setting the pace, and while he does have some anxiety about the relationship at points, he’s very patient with the progression of their relationship. He has his own personal stake in the mischief which is explained early on.
The shenanigans that they plan for the town were fun to read! I wish shenanigan #2 was fleshed out a bit more. It feels a bit like it was kinda just thrown in there. But shenanigan #1 and #3 were excellent! And they were all for a good cause which I enjoyed as well!
There’s definitely spice in this book! Nothing super graphic or super duper spicy. But good romcom spice and it added a fun kick to the book!
If you’re looking for a romcom with crazy Christmas shenanigans, an ugly but cute dog and a cinnamon roll hero, then this book is for you! Thanks to Brittany Kelley for providing me with a free copy of her book in exchange for my honest review!
Quinn is relatively new in town and going head to head with the leader of the town council—who insists on all sorts of crazy rules including natural hair colors of shop-owners. When said councilman’s cousin, Asher, offers to help her out in her mission to undermine, sparks fly.
Such a cute, funny, spicy romcom for Christmas! This is a quick read that will give you all the small torn Christmas vibes. Think spicy Hallmark—which is what we all want, right?
I’m really not one to pick up holiday romcoms, but I did it for Bookclub. It was a cute story where the guy falls first, however, it was a little too instant love for me. The male MC was sweet and handsome, but the female MC was a little annoying and cringy at time. There wasn’t a lot of spice but what was there, was done well.
If you enjoy Hallmark holiday movies, you might enjoy this read. It’s just not my cup of tea.
“But more than anything, I want her to trust me; I want her to want me too. I don’t want to be anything like the motherfucker who hurt her a few years ago.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1.5🌶️
Misfits and Mistletoe is a super cute and swoony holiday novella. Quinn owns a boutique in the small town of Primrose Glenn. She’s sick of the town council and its leader micromanaging every aspect of Christmas for the town. She teams up with Asher, the town grump, to shake things up for Christmas in their town.
The town gives Stars Hollow vibes and there are some funny, quirky little happenings throughout the book. Asher and Quinn both have some difficult traumas they are working through, so while this book is cute and fun, check your triggers.
Their chemistry and attraction is super satisfying. I love a good holiday novella and Brittany Kelley did not miss.
I feel like this book was just alright. I liked the characters (mostly) and the setting, but some of the plot was weak at times. I also found Quinn’s wishy-washy nature to be very annoying. But overall, I am glad they had a happy end to their story!
This was a fun, quick read. The characters were well-thought out. The hijinks was fun and sweet. It definitely put me in the mood for the holidays. My favorite thing about it was the quick dialogue and humor.
This was such a cute Christmas-Themed book! The author, Brittany Kelley does such a great job setting up the characters and the scenes; you can’t help but get Christmas rom-com movie vibes!
First let's talk about Quinn… She is a smart, determined entrepreneur that has written off love. As the story unfolds we learn more about her traumatic past and why she has never even noticed her super hot store neighbor. She really does evolve in this story. She was closed off and sad, but Asher seemed to make her come alive and really enjoy the life that she is living now in the present!
Now for Asher… He is your grumpy, blue-collar town carpenter that seems to care about nothing but his business… and staying as far away from people as possible. We also learn that one of the reasons he is so closed off is because of things that have happened to him in the past. He is so sweet and careful with Quinn, he really listens to her despite his own wants. He’s a perfect gentleman.
Overall, these two characters are perfect for each other and it was only a matter of time before their paths crossed as more than just business owners in the same small town. In a great twist, Asher actually has had a crush on Quinn for years, but has always been too closed off to actually pursue anything. I just love when the guys fall first!
And let's talk about those sex scenes! They are HOT! The chemistry between the two are wild and it's perfection!
While this was a cute Christmas-themed book (with a HEA), there are some triggering topics; including death and abuse. It is all handled carefully and tastefully, but may be upsetting to some readers
This is a must for your holiday reading list!!!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

This was a really cute holiday romance. Full of schemes and small town fun. Quinn and Asher were both great MCs, both bumbling falling for each other. Asher had such a crush on Quinn and was gone on her from the beginning. I really enjoyed how he was patient with her and gave her time and understanding. Filled with cute pets and holiday antics this was a great and light holiday read.
2.5. Way too insta-lovey for me. No build up and no tension so I just wasn’t really rooting for the characters. Also the town council dictating the colour of peoples hair??? Really. Not very realistic
This was a great holiday read. The story of small town that has a Christmas Tradition of Currier and Ives and all things Hallmarky as their Main Street Shopping District Theme mets a one-woman Hear Me Roar Reaction to a controlling town council that leads her to reaffirm not just her own hard won, and long fought for, identity but reminds us all also the True Spirit of Christmas -- and finds the best of all Love right across the street with a ton of laughs along the way.
I loved every minute with this book because it a real story of today's world. Quinn has fled an abusive relationship to set up clothing store and is living in hiding because of her fear to allow a man into her world again. Only letting a few people, and an adorable dog, into her life she doesn't see all that she has to offer to Primrose Glen and those around her. It's a credit to Kelley that the book takes on such a topic at all - not to mention in a Christmas Story - and brings such a compassionate and yet realistically nuanced approach to such a sensitive topic. Added to this wonderful mix of characters is Asher - who own the bespoke carpentry shop across the street - and who has been charmed by this fiercely independent woman. He is the very model of the gentle man and with a perfectly crafted alternating perspectives we are able to see how Quinn's past can be overcome and are witness to the wonderful feelings and humorous self talk that both characters share with us.
Now after all this you may be reading and saying RomCom?? more like a dramody at best. But I will tell you that Quinn's past does not keep her from fighting for what she wants and using her humor to show how she will not have her life taken from her. Needless to say, what starts out as a series of pranks -- fully supported by Asher -- allows her to turns the town around and even helps the 'stick in the mud' town administrator find out that the holidays are about more than just the window dressing of pretty lights and presents, but it's really about about making the world a better place for ourselves and others.
With laugh out loud moments that will wake up the neighbors -- picture the humor of a Currier and Ives Postcard Village with pets sporting dyed fur in Christmas Colors, a flash mob sing a long, and bikers descending for a pop up concert -- you will laugh alot, sigh a bit, and even tear up as the two 'misfits' finally find their 'fit' in Primprose Glen for a Happily Ever After that I hope is the start of a new series.

Misfits and Mistletoe was the perfect way to get into the holiday season with some steamy hot chocolate levels of romance! I'm still in full-on Halloween mode, but reading Brittany's laugh-out-loud swoony holiday romp really put me in a festive spirit.
I read it in one weekend, and almost finished it in one sitting! It's perfect for fans of cozy holiday movies and all things winter, and I absolutely loved reading about Quinn and Asher and their (mildly) dastardly plan to shake up the tired and outdated Christmas traditions of Primrose Glenn.
I received an ARC from the author as part of an early promotional program. Thank you!
Spoilers below!!
Quinn Campell is a dynamic, free-spirted heroine whose love for her boutique clothing store Blackbird is just as relatable as her love for her rescue pup, Bella Swan (fans of Twilight will love the hilarious references scattered throughout!) Quinn has had a rough time with romance, having escaped an abusive relationship and rebuilt her life two years ago, and her outlook on life and her developing relationship with Asher felt grounded in her lived experiences and her fear of being vulnerable and becoming too caught up in something that had the potential to be harmful.
And Asher Green is the perfect love interest; sweet, sincere, patient, and exactly the right fit for Quinn. After losing both of his parents three years ago in a car accident, he's become somewhat of a grumpy recluse, focusing on his work but for the most part, pushing everyone else away. Except Quinn. (Cue the Grumpy/Sunshine Pair, or more accurately, Grumpy/Feisty pair!)
As an aside, I also really loved that this particular romance didn't rely on the standard third act breakup for added tension (something that personally always makes me feel anxious and has me reading toward the last third of a book with dread). This book artfully worked around that by putting the focus of Asher and Quinn's relationship on them and their own journeys back to themselves and finding happiness in each other. Love it!
I wanted to like this book more than I did because I've liked BK's soccer romance novel, but it's trying to do too much in 250 pages.
Quinn is relatively new (she's been there 2 years) to the small town of Primrose Glenn, which does the same "boring" holiday things every year and she hates it. The President of the City Council has now sent out a memo about holiday decorations and how no one can have non-natural colored hair (seriously, what?), so Quinn is about revenge. She recruits Asher Green, woodworker from the store across the street that she's apparently never talked to in two years because she thinks he's grumpy, to help. It's never really explained why they've never met or talked, but whatever.
Pretty quickly, the story becomes about him being besotted with her and her being cautious because her last relationship was with an emotional abuser (also the whole book takes place over like 30 days, so it's not unreasonable if that wasn't her background that she's not ready to love him forever or whatever). Asher's the perfect boyfriend who's happy to wait forever (with his own trauma that doesn't really get addressed, but okay) and Quinn's skittish but cautiously optimistic. He gets pretty cheesy pretty quickly, which she seems to like, but made me laugh sometimes.
There are some hijinks with the town council, town activities, and other holiday tropes, but it's not really about that. There's also not a lot of input from anyone besides Quinn, Asher, and Quinn's friend. (What do the other business owner thinks of Quinn's disruptions? What about those who work on the regular Christmas stuff? What about that one waitress? No one knows!) All in all, it's a fast read, but there's not a lot of there there.
Quinn Campbell got away from an abusive relationship and relocated far enough away to start over in Primrose Glenn. She runs her own business and is comfortable in her decision to avoid “love” again. With the Christmas season approaching, the city council’s idiotic dictates ruin her Christmas spirit. They laid down the rules for how everyone is to decorate – the same old look every year, no variation allowed. Quinn was even told that “only natural hair colors would be permitted”, everything focused on “enhancing the town’s overall aesthetic” – according to the council’s preferences!! She tried to change their minds and was blatantly ignored. Only one person seemed to pay attention. Asher Green whose business is nearby, and who has had a crush on Quinn since she moved there, is eager to help her push back on the archaic decoration and personal rules. And if it gets him any closer to her, he is more than happy about that.
Asher is a sweetheart who is supportive of Quinn and doesn’t bully her into decisions. He is content to take things at whatever pace Quinn finds comfortable. He is just what she needs. The story line will keep you smiling and chuckling. Will they change the council’s minds to try something new? Will they enjoy working together enough to maybe take a chance on love? Grab your copy and see what they get up to.
The heroine got out of a toxic, controlling relationship and now she's allergic to people who want to tell her what to do. So she doesn't react well to the town rules instituted by a head honcho named Doug that say that all the shop owners should decorate, dress and style their hair in an oldfashioned style and the holiday events should also follow traditional patterns. She teams up with Asher Green to shake things up and in the end, several people find out that change can be a good thing.
It was a nicely written holiday themed story with some sexual content. It was my first book by Brittany Kelley and I would consider reading something else from this author. I liked the writing style and the characters and the way Doug was the catalyst for change in the end. I got a little tired of the heroine's hesitation but I think it was less this book and more the fact that I have accidentally been reading too many books in a row in which the hero is an all around nice guy who falls first and is all in to the relationship from the start and has done nothing to earn her lack of trust, but the heroine is stalling and indecisive because she has trust issues from a stupid ex.
Things that stood out: There is no reason to dye your pets for real, even it annoys an officious busybody.

Sigggggh this book. I wish I had taken a million selfies of me reading it cause I kept smiling and giggling. Although a departure from the spooky season reads I had been binging this holiday rom com was everything.
Set in what I can only describe as an unhinged Stars Hallow (and the town is an absolute character in this book), Misfits and Mistletoes centers on small business on the square owners, Quinn and Asher. Two years ago, Quinn left an abusive relationship, cutting all ties and opening her dream shop, a hip clothing boutique. Across the street, furniture maker Asher has been smitten for a while. At a town hall meeting called on Black Friday, the two hatch a plan to usurp the power of tyrannical Doug and his crazy Christmas town rules. As they work together to spice up Christmas, the sparks fly, but Quinn is scared of the possibility of another abusive boyfriend. Asher is absolutely the sweetest (although a grump to the town) hero, and his doting on Quinn gave me heart eyes. Also Quinn is over 30! Yay! And has a dog named Bella Swan, which made me chuckle.
Overall if you dig Gilmore Girls, liked Tessa Bailey’s Window Shopping, or eat up Christmas Hallmark movies you will laugh out loud and then swoon out loud for this delightful rom com
🎄Small Town 🎄Holiday Hijinks 🎄He Falls First and HARD 🎄She is Emotionally Healing 🎄The Pets and Their Names!
Another Brittany Kelley hit! This was a super cute and fun holiday themed book, quick and light reading. Asher and Quinn both own stores in the town square and must adhere to town-approved holiday decorations, dress code, and other themed mandates or face consequences that will affect their livelihood. So what does a super sweet and smitten MMC and guarded and feisty MFC do? They band together in Holiday hijinks to pull a town out of sleepy and boring Christmas traditions to liven up the community. I loved how patient and understanding Asher was with Quinn, he falls hard and I found his anxiety regarding scaring Quinn off enduring. Quinn is dealing with a difficult and emotionally traumatic past but is lonely and finds comfort and excitement in Asher. I will never get over or stop falling for fictional men who fall fast and so hard, especially when they seem to only soften for the girl. Asher might be giving Daniel Harrison a run for top MMC in the BrittanyKelley-verse.
All I want for Christmas is more of Quinn Campbell smiling at me exactly like that.-Asher
I jumped Asher like I was Santa and he was a Christmas cookie.-Quinn
Asher Green is hot as a crackling Yule log.-Quinn
“I want everything when it comes to you. I want the good and the bad. I want what we had last night, this, right now, you, every day, always.”-Asher
Memorable Moments/Ideas: ✨ Pink Chair ❄️ Peppermint Mocha ✨ TARGET ❄️ Gingerbread Cookies ✨ Cat, the species
The amount of laughing I did throughout this book was beautiful. I love a good pun. I love a good euphemism. GIVE ME INNUENDOS, and I’m 💀.
The banter and exchanges throughout the whole book - *chef’s kiss*
“Put your number in here, sneaky like,”
“Me: Do you like to eat meat”
“Oh, I have lots of ideas. Good. Bad. Fun.”
The secondhand embarrassment you get when people say the wrong thing at the right time and everyone else wins but the person who said it? This book 100%.
Aside from the comedy, the book tackles some serious topics of loss and abuse, and does so with fidelity and understanding. There is good representation of seeking mental health help, and the idea of time being something people need in certain situations.
Also, the commentary about Target? Solidly true.
Spice: 🌶️.5 Recommend: Yes. But check TW/CW first. Audience: Small town romance lovers. Revenge plot lovers. Comedy gold writing - seriously. I’ve never laughed so hard reading a romcom, like ever.
This was the holiday romance read I needed! Quinn is a fashion boutique owner in small town Primrose Glenn. She's new to the town, only been here for two years but that has been long enough for Asher, the carpenter / woodworker store owner across the street, to fall in love with her. The only problem is that neither of them are ready for a relationship. Add on top of that the stress of the holiday season and one very controlling town mayor. A tiny mishap of spilled coffee sets these two off on a journey together that will leave you reading as fast as you can to find out if they make it or if their pasts will be too much of a blocker. Sprinkle in some holiday festivities, a few adorable rescue pets, and some spicy moments and you will be counting down the days until Christmas with Asher & Quinn. This was such a fun, quick read that I couldn't put it down!
TW: There is mention of a prior abusive relationship and some family death.
Thank you Brittany for my free ebook. It wasn't expected of me to leave any positive feedback. These opinions are 100% my own.
I gave this book 3 stars even though I wasn’t really a fan because this isn’t my typical read so I didn’t wanna lower the score because someone that loves rom coms might really enjoy this. But this is still my review so I am going to list my issues with this book
1. Insta love. It had that type of vibe. As soon as he “asks her out” he is already thinking about a future with her. And yes you could argue that since it did take them until the end of the book to actually get together that it’s not really insta love. But I beg to differ. It definitely had that vibe. I do not enjoy insta love. It grosses me out.
2. The main character was so cringe. She named her dog Bella Swan and that’s totally fine but she kept making Twilight references and that gave me a huge ick. I’m not someone who enjoys modern pop culture references in the books I read. And there was A LOT in this book.
So if you are someone that enjoys insta love trope and some modern culture references/jokes then you will love this. If you are like me and don’t, then stay away from this book.
I enjoyed this one enough. It was like a tacky Hallmark with some pretty great spice! 3.5 ⭐️
What I liked 🎄 I laughed quite a bit! 🎄The spice was VERY well done 🌶️ + the tension leading up to it 🎄Discussed deeper topics (death, abuse) in a very honest way 🎄MCs in their 30s 🎄MMC was perfectly awkward and sweet, but also 🔥 and he had a beard 🎄Will Ferret, Bella Swan, Cat 😂 iykyk 🎄the way the MCs handled the other MCs traumas.
Why not 5 stars ❄️ a few too many cringey eye roll moments that were just kind of silly and over the top ❄️ some missed plot opportunities that I thought were foreshadowed
⚠️ TW ⚠️ - Emotionally abusive ex - Parents’ death - Car accident deaths

“There’s something sweet about knowing your partner so well that there’s no room for awkwardness, just content quiet and the same color of nail polish you’ve worn for the last decade.”
“I make my own happiness. I’m not dependent on anyone else, and I’m okay with that.”
I got this book from a little holiday book swap that my book club did!
I’m SO happy this is the one I ended up with! I was a little skeptical in the first two to three chapters on if I’d actually like the book, but as it went on I only got more invested.
I was initially expecting enemies to lovers but it’s so not that. Asher is such a soft, romantic, adorably sweet guy who just wants the best for Quinn. And Quinn, haunted by her past relationship is scared to fall for Asher.
The ruin Doug’s Christmas project was so funny, and added so much light hearted holiday fun to the story. I love the colored ferrets and dogs - SO funny!!
I was even more pleased as I reached the end of the book and there was no overdrawn out third act break up. While there was a little tension, it was reasonable in context of the story and resolved in a very timely manner for their HEA.
Overall this was a light, fluffy, and fun rom-com to read during the holiday season!
After reading an eARC auf Happily Haunted Afters by the author, I was very excited when this one fluttered into my inbox. I enjoyed this book for the most part and am very happy, that The MCs and their shenanigans were very funny, but I thought they were being a bit overdramatic portraying what they were doing as mean and bad when it really wasn’t. I did laugh out loud multiple times while reading. I also liked how Kelley portrayed Quinn still dealing with the aftermath of getting out of an abusive relationship and it being hard to trust after that, no matter how many times you’re shown it’s okay to trust a new person or tell yourself that. While Asher is all about consent, he should have been honest from the start about his motives for joining Quinn’s vendetta against the town council rules in my opinion. I loved most of the side characters as well and have a feeling we might get a book or short story about a certain two characters. My favorite side character was Bella, the dog, though. Unfortunately, the spicy scenes were not doing it for me at all this time, I cringed the entire time. The problem is not the spice in general and I am happy that consent again is very important to the characters. The problem was the “sexy talk”. I hated it. If anyone were to call me “good girl”, they would get kicked out or I would pack up ad leave, especially when someone is doing that while being intimate. Who are you talking to? Your partner or a dog? To be fair, I’m not much for sex talk anyway, but this still took the cake, I had to put the book down for a while. If you like stuff like this, enjoy, but it certainly is not for me.
Lastly, this book gave me all the Christmas feels and I wish I had read in in December and not October, but such is the way of ARCs.
A cute and comfy romance for the holidays. Not as laugh-out-loud funny as the other Brittany Kelley book I read, but full of really great details that make the characters and town come alive. The main characters are dealing with some heavy baggage that’s dealt with so gently and carefully — I wish it were always talked about like that in real life — and their interactions are so so healthy. One nice touch, I thought, were the details about Quinn’s apartment - it’s carpeted, it’s rented, it’s in a complex. She eats microwaved takeout and shops at Target. I love those realistic details mixed with the cutesy picture-perfect-ness of her small town. And I also loved the extremely punny jokes that the lead man makes… so great.
Overall, a very enjoyable quick read with likeable characters and plenty of seggsinesss, if you’re into that, and meaningful plot, if you’re into that.
This was really enjoyable. I got just what I was looking for from this book. It was fun and sweet. And a great small town read with interesting characters and shenanigans. Aside from the characters I think what I liked best was the plot points that weren't there. I kept thinking 'I know this trope, next up is xxx' but it didn't happen exactly how I expected, which was so refreshing.
I love the characters. Asher is so sweet and awkward. And Quinn has the potential to be really fun when she finishes settling into herself. I like that she is striving to become better even if she sometimes loses a bit of focus on what actually matters. And the secondary characters are great. I love how supportive and fun they are.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was a little hesitant about this, just because I wasn't ready to let go of fall and get into the Christmas spirit quite yet, but it was amazing! I really enjoyed Quinn's character because she seemed so real and authentic. From getting caught up in the moment and later panicking about what she'd done to second guessing the events she and Asher had planned, she seemed like she could have just gotten right off the page and been a real person. Quinn's reaction to her trauma also seemed very genuine as well; it wasn't overly done or only mentioned when convenient, but present through the book. All in all, I just really enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good romantic comedy this Christmas
Misfits and Mistletoe is now available on Amazon!

I read this with my chaotic and passionate bookclub in December. I was late finishing it, but I finished it nonetheless!!!!
This book follows Quinn and Asher, as they wreak havoc on their little town when their mayor goes a little crazy for Christmas. Like, he literally wants to dictate how the lil stores decorate, how they wear their hair, and it was ALARMING!! We don’t need that kind of dictatorship and controlling environments. Especially when Quinn is trying to heal from leaving an abusive relationship.
BUT. Don’t get me wrong. She drove me up a fucking wall with how many times she said “I don’t have time” about dating and I wanted to shake her. Like girl. The man of your dreams is trying to protect you and love you. With that being said, Asher was sweet and I wanted to hug and steal him. He named a cat, “cat” and truly, cat adopted HIM and not the other way around.
Misfits and Mistletoe had all the heartwarming holiday mayhem you could want in a book. Brittany brings the perfect mix of romantic and comedy to this story set in a small-town with some outdated and drab holiday celebrations. Business owners Quinn and Asher band together to bring some chaotic good to the festivities. I'm going to need a Netflix adaptation STAT. Pour yourself some hot cocoa, get out those Christmas lights, and settle in to read this steamy and swoony holiday romcom that will get you in your feels in all the right ways.
This story is about Asher and Quinn and the mischievous plots of Christmas shenanigans of 2 unlikely store owners!!
OMG what a delightful witty/comical shenanigans with some angst drama and why not throw in past relationship that brings emotional insecurities. Brittany has creative style of writing that keeps you turning those pages and falling in love with her characters as well as her books!! This book won't disappoint you for a charming Christmas story with plenty of laughs!!
Received this as an ARC..this is my voluntary review.
