Mountain lion shifter Sam Fitzpatrick knows he doesn’t deserve a fairytale romance.
But he’s okay with that.
Not everyone gets one.
So when the lioness he’s loved his entire life betrays him and his family, he isn’t that surprised. He’s choked down plenty of regret in his life, right? Chalk it up to one more horrible mistake.
But as a shifter, Sam also knows things aren’t always what they seem.
And even though the Fitzpatrick family’s future is on a path none of them could have foreseen, that doesn’t mean a happy ending has to be out of reach.
Even if Sam has to walk through hell to find it.
For fans of Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter - This book is the end of a six-book series, and it wraps up all of the Fitzpatricks’ storylines.
USA Today bestselling author A.S. Green lives in chilly Minnesota and spends the all-too-short summers on Lake Superior, which is the muse for her paranormal and contemporary romances. She writes complex characters, action-packed plots, and snarky in-your-face banter. And, of course, loads of steamy love scenes.
When she's not writing romance, she's probably watching Outlander or pleading (unsuccessfully) with her husband to don the kilt she bought him last summer.

I wanted to be his sun. His moon. His day, his night, and everything in between.

Trigger warning: child sexual abuse/child grooming, sexual assault, physical abuse
This book really serves as a way for the author to wrap up the stories of all the main characters we've met throughout this series. Other than a surprise death--which I've now come to expect with Anne's writing--there was no major plot movement, but I never felt like the plot was slow. There are quite a few POV switches included as well, which I appreciated as we get to follow along and witness each couple happy and enjoying matehood. As always, this finale was bittersweet as I'm saying goodbye to characters I've come to love, but I am so stoked for Anne's next series!
Tropes: fated mates, childhood trauma (sexual abuse), tortured hero, broken heroine, childhood friends-to-lovers, second-chance romance, reluctant hero, secret pining, will they/won't they, HEA (part of a series)

After reading Love That's Lionhearted book five in the series I was so ready to find out how Sam and Daisy's story would end. These two go through so much in this series that I wasn't sure how it would end but I was pleasantly surprised with the ending considering all the twists and turns of Sam and Daisy's journey of love. I recommend this book, this series, and this author to everyone looking for something amazing to read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I have just finished reading this story and I look forward to reading more of them, from a young girl who has always loved her child sweetheart only for him to say that they were not ment to be but fate has away of making things work, and now he has been taken and no one knows were.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁
You get to find out about what happened to Sam after he was captured and if he took a chance on Daisy. There was a couple if twists and turns but best yet, the last couple of chapters really rounded of the series. You get to find out what happened to the rest of the family after their books. This is a satisfying end to a good series.
All of the individual pieces to the story fell perfectly into place - it was so great!
I appreciate that we weren't left in the dark about even the smallest detail... I hate being left hanging or wondering "what about..." yeah.. So, THANK YOU!.

Heartbreaking and hopeful, I could not put this book down! With the target on Daisy's back, Sam still in danger and a resolution on the horizon, I could not bring myself to put this amazing paranormal romance read down! His Lion's Pride (Secrets of the Northland Shifters Book 6) by A.S. Green finally brought some peace and much needed answers to this Mountain Lion shifter family. The Fitzpatricks are dear to me from Book 1 as the mystery, danger and threats begin to be revealed. This final book, after a clever cliffhanger, met my every expectation and in some ways exceeded them and even broke my heart in the process. I honestly expected the plot to carry on throughout the book, in relation to the threat to the beloved Fitzpatrick family. But I was surprised when the resolution came, shocked by an unexpected outcome and then there was still a good deal left to the story, especially with regard to Sam and Daisy. I absolutely loved seeing how these two work through issues to the core and their status as intended mates. Sam and Daisy are beautiful and steamy combustion together and their emotional connection is magnificent and matches their needs spectacularly. Perfect for each other, they accept where each of them are and work to move forward for their future, no matter where that might be. Overall, this final book in the series is more than a resolution to the mystery, danger and threat. It's an exploration of emotional healing, looking to the future and getting a wonderfully detailed glimpse into the future of this family. This series concluded on December 1, 2022. I had such a blast writing it, and I hope readers found the ending as satisfactory and heart-warming as I did. I'm gonna miss this family of shifters. <3
