Amelia Shaw looks like a good girl... but she's not. She loves men... and sex... and all things fantastical. Read her stories for paranormal romance with perfect men and imperfect women. Fast paced, action packed and character driven stories with guaranteed happily ever afters...
Amelia writes more erotic stories under the pen name, Tamsin Baker, and historical romances under the pen name, Fiona Miers.
It has been said that though the night may be dark, joy cometh in the morning. And so it is for these people. They have heart rending struggles, but then joy. And joy remains, even amid the ongoing work and difficulties of life, which even dragons are not immune to.
Great story, not an overly complex plot, but there are unexpected turnarounds! Fascinating social structure and world building. I would love to see all that was described of the castles and towns!
I see absolutely no need for the details of the mates' sexual intimacy, though it is not extensive here ( or I've just gotten really skilled at skimming past it ). Minus one star for the erotica. There are some "four letter" words here and there, but no disrespect to anyone's God.
TAKEN BY THE DRAGON KING is the first book that I’ve read by Amelia Shaw. While I found the story to be rather basic and straightforward I enjoyed it. I’ll not easily forget how the main characters first meet. They were both likable but I found that I liked the secondary character, Cass, better.
These two books were okay. I liked the idea of each book, however, I felt like there was so much more to the stories that wasn't there. There could have been more character growth and substance in each story. There wasn't much world-building; I have questions about how this world works. I will not be reading the other books of this series.
I simply enjoyed these books, they were so easy to read with great characters and good storylines. They made good short reads and, although I think the odd bit of language I don’t like was incorporated along with some unnecessarily detailed sex scenes I’ll still give it 4 stars; A little less explicit and it would have been 5. I would however read more in this series.
I enjoyed both of these dragon shifter stories! The characters were likable and interesting. There was steam, romance, and political intrigue. The uneasy alliance between the dragon kingdoms is an interesting element. Read it!
I have enjoyed reading this set of stories and look forward too reading more of them.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm
Decent. It had some parts when I wanted to shake these guys for their old fashioned way of thinking and it lagged at some points, but…decent. I’d continue the saga to see where this all leads to.
