Uh...I can barely remember my password and now you want me to get my thoughts together after all that insanity??? That whole ending sequence is what made the story for me. It was an experience. A nail
biting yet disturbing ride. F.R. Díaz doesn't sugarcoat. She doesn't just give you a glimpse of how horrible reality is and how depraved some people can be. No, she pries your eyes open and shows you the full picture, whether you like it or not. That's why I love her stories. This is self-published, far from being popular, yet it blows many tradional horror novels out the window. Read F.R. Diaz! If you're under the mentality that indie = trash, I feel sorry that you have to miss out on great thought provoking stories like these. In fact I don't feel sorry. Your loss. 🤭

I received an ARC for this book and read it in a sitting! It was THAT good!
She did it again!
I LOVED this book. It's the BEST horror I've read in a long time. Francheska Robles Diaz, takes us on a wild ride, just like she did in her debut novel, but this time the story is filled with paranormal elements, which I love. The characters jump out from the page and stay with you after you finish reading. Anyone who manages to do that, is a great writer.
This is the story of Camila, a medium whose mission is to keep both realms of existence separated. The spiritual and the physical one. How does she do it and what are the dangers she faces? All of it is for you to discover as you read. There's conflict in every chapter, which keeps you turning the pages.
The author entwines the world she flawlessly created with a cold case and manages to keep you at the edge of your seat. Once the tension starts it never ends.
It has everything: horror, romance, mystery, paranormal elements. It's an unputdownable thriller that you'll remember. It delivers a great twist and believe me when I say, you'll need to keep a couple of tissues at hand, 'cause those final chapters are heart wrenching and tearjerkers.
I definitely recommend to readers who love everything horror and paranormal. You won't be disappointed.

On The Other Side, Lies The Truth is an intriguing story with a MC you can’t help but feel for. Camila Ortiz has an incredible gift. She is the bridge between two worlds—a sentinel that keeps the bad things from entering this reality. This gift definitely weighs heavily on her psyche, but she has Dani, her lover and anchor, making sure her connection to this side isn’t lost.
When they begin searching for Dani’s long lost sister the veil starts to lift for Dani as well. Soon her mission and Camila’s purpose collide with frightening and tragic consequences.
On The Other Side, Lies The Truth was an amazing story told in the most visual, visceral way. F.R. Diaz’s books will grab you and throw you into the chaos without minding the head—a rawness I appreciate in writers. Though viscerally pleasing this story was also written with a delicateness that was conveyed through Camila and Dani’s love for one another. I was drawn into every aspect of their relationship because of this.I think the story would have been even more powerful had it been told from both Camila and Dani’s perspectives. In some parts it seemed it was going that way.
Being able to witness their relationship through Dani’s eyes, in Dani’s voice; getting to feel and understand Dani's drive and desperation to find her sister, while also trying to keep the love of her life, Camila from emotionally spiraling, would have faired beautifully.
This book is full of mystery revolving around a true cold case, ghosts and a twist that I did not see coming. I thoroughly enjoyed On The Other Side, Lies The Truth. It scared me, made me laugh, made me sad (and curse out loud), but most importantly it made me love F.R. Diaz’s writing even more.

What a wild ride and unexpected ending! The twist absolutely threw me for a loop. You have this vision of where the story is going as you are reading it but it's totally not correct. Great drama, gore, scare, etc. Highly recommend.
