"Welcome to Club Monstrum, where all your scary desires come to life." After being left unsatisfied in the bedroom with human men, I took the dive and decided to explore a side of me that I never knew existed. Suggested Club Monstrum by my friend, she expected me to go for the werewolves and vampires. Not exactly what I was looking for.
Club Monstrum is 18k word novella, set in the future where monsters are allowed to roam freely. This is a why-choose novella, so the female main character won't choose between any of the five monsters. This book is a stand alone and doesn't need to be read to read the other books in the series.
A spicy novella, that ends in a sweet and cozy tone.
I read this novella after reading the second one on this universe-series, and I have to say that the second one was better not only as much as the narrative is concerned, the themes the author wants to depict and the world building, but also the ✨SMUT✨. Regardless, a cute little read about learning intimacy and founding your people in unlikely places and circumstances.

Star is unsatisfied and tired of human men so she decides to go to Monstrum to see if any of the monsters there can fulfill her needs and they are all very happy to help. It is a short story and as such, there isn't much character development, just heaps of shameless monster fucking. The whole "feelings" things after only a single night with each them wasn't quite believable but I did like how they all decided to be in a relationship instead of trying to force an I Love You at the end.
Smut. Monster smut. Just sufficient plot to hold the book all together.
Star (The Human) goes to club Monstrum to get her elusive orgasm. Humans don't do it for her, maybe monsters will (as recommended from a friend). It starts off with Torred (The Orc), then JC (The Cyborg), Atticus+Adonis (The Twin Panthers, one bad, one good) then finally we have Cozen (The Naga).
Wuuwi, these monsters were a bunch of gossips because how fast did they share info about Star (joking). But it was funny how they were like, well, this human actually sees me for who I am, want in?
I loved that she asked for their consent in a casual but meaningful way and that she cared whether they enjoyed their sessions/had their own kinks/desires or not.
The writing was a bit choppy though and felt like it rolled from one scene to the next, then finalé. Also the cover would have been better if it showed that it was a harem rather than just a single person/JC on the cover.
Club Monstrum is a short book that packs a punch. If you are looking for a book that has all the heat of a Carolina Reaper, then pick up this book. Club Monstrum is a Sex Club where someone can go and explore a variety of Monsters. Star does not want the run of the mill, usual monster, such as a werewolf, vampire, or fae....oh no...she wants ALL OF THE BADDIES. This book has some small amount of plot...Star ends up creating a reverse harem with the men she indulges on at the Club, but other than that, is it page after page of sexy sex. It is 69 pages of nothing but sex, I don't even think the story went more than one page without some kind of sexy scene in it. Star is a pretty cool leading lady. She is the only human who takes into account the needs and desires of the monsters too, treating them like people, at least in these particular monsters' experiences. No human man has ever been able to sexually satisfy Star, so these Monsters make it their personal mission to have her exploding below them.
If you need something quick and easy, this is one of those reads. The author makes it known at the beginning you don't read this book for the plot line, you read it for the sex. If graphic sex is not your thing, this book should be a pass :)
Overall this was a fun quick read. Though me being me...I found a few pet peeves I didn't realize I'd have 😅
Anywho...if you're looking for a quick read, I think this took me like 30 minutes to devour, and you're into something not so human...I'd definitely recommend giving this book a go. ^^
I have to say that Star is in the same situation that most women are in....we go years without pleasure...unless that give it to themselves.
This is set very far in the true, and I think it will give a better outlook on what life will be in 100 years.
Star discovered her: Torred, an Orc; JC, a Cyborg with a very, very old past; twin panthers, Atticus & Adonis; and last but certainly not least, Cozin, a snake man - all seeking a connection beyond what they look like.
Love happens in an instant, and sometimes it takes several to fill a void....they created a plan based on converstationqnd interaction....isn't that how life is supposed to be?
A monster reverse harem that is perfect for monster lovers! This book was so much fun to read. While there isn’t much of a story line, it was short and had lots of spice! Star is a human and she has not had luck with human guys. She is never satisfied with them so she decides to try Monstrum. With each visit to the monster sex club Star has an amazing time and can’t help but feel a connection to all of them. All the monsters in this book are sweet but also down right sexy. I loved that each experience was different and that all the monsters wanted to do was bring Star pleasure. I am hoping this is the beginning of a series so that we can see what other monsters are at Monstrum!
Listen, babes, it's really exactly what it sounds like. And this book delivers on what it promises!
Club Monstrum features a sassy cyborg, a sweetheart orc, grumpy/sunshine twin panthers, and a mysterious naga, who show our plus-size, bold FMC in exactly how many ways they're better than humans. And it's a whole lot of ways...
It's fun, fast-paced and so so spicy! If you're looking for a quick read that hits all of your monster needs AND has a happy ending, then pick this one up!
I received an advanced review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I legit searched “spicy cyborg/robot romance” and this popped up after about 5 pages. The premise sounded very similar to A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor so I thought I’d give it a shot… and I was NOT disappointed.
It’s short at just 69 (noice) pages, but so spicy. The authors packed a lot into this book while still making it feel like a romance and less like erotica. The FMC actually tries to connect to each monster she meets, and they in turn, become attached to her.
HEA, MMMFMM, why-choose. I’m honestly so stunned and happy I decided to give this a go.
Why was this so freaking cute? But like in a monster sex club spicy way 😅
Star is in search for someone who can make her…arrive. And human men just aren’t cutting it (preaching to the choir sister). She decides to try her hand with an alternative monster route 😏
It’s a fast paced and fast burn Why Choose novella
This book was literally nothing but consent and smut. If you are looking for a deep and plot-filled storyline, this book is not it; however, if you are looking for a short quick read (69 pages) with some straight-up monster smut (I'm talking Orc, Panther twins, a Cyborg, and a Naga) with a slight dash of plot, THIS IS IT!
3.5 stars This was a little wholesome and spicy monster romance that turned RH in the end.
It featured, plus size curvy girl An orc with a massive junk A cyborg with a vibrating junk Panthers twins threesome into BDSM Weresnake with two junks
A variety of things really!!! and then some grade A dirty talk if you are into that!!!!
99% smut held together with a 1% hair thin plot lol but it was short and sweetish spicy. The addition of the Naga was cool, they aren't the most typical of monsters featured. I do have to say that the panthers gave me a bit of an Anita Blake vibe, but they can't help that, poor things XD.
There were some weird editing errors in this book that threw me off but this was a unique take on monster spice. It wasn't complex or plot driven but it was fun and I enjoyed reading it. It was short enough that it didn't really need to have anything else. Not every book has to be a masterpiece, sometimes they're just fun.
If you want a quick read full of monster smut, this book is for you. Star is such a lucky girl, surrounded by five sexy monster men that can give her pleasure like no one ever had before. Even though each love interest gets only a chapter dedicated to their interaction with Star, their connection is obviously there, and it makes the ending all the more sweet.
Loved it and would love to have more interaction with the characters the sex scenes were pure smut and fantasy... would recommend to anyone who is in the mood for something different
This was another fast and sweaty read. Filled to the brim with back to back smut! I loved it. It scratched that itch and I would definitely recommend to the right kind of reader. Monster smut att its finest, for sure! 4⭐️ 5🌶
This was so much better then I thought it would be. I couldn't put this book down I read them out of order but still loved this series. Hopefully there are more to come
100% an insta lust/love story. Spice for the sake of spice. Over all it could use a bit of editing, grammatical errors and tense issues are prevalent throughout the book. It’s a fun quick read if you are looking something heavy on spice and low on plot.
I went into this book knowing nothing other than it was RH with monsters. It was a cute quick read. Mainly smut with minimal plot. But it was a great palate cleanser after reading a few dark romances. Well written with cute likeable characters.
This was pure smut and it was HOT! These monsters definitely knew what they were doing! I loved that we got an HEA and that they were kind of already their own little harem! Definitely a hot spicy monster read! Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
If you want a book that has different monsters, no real plot but lots of yumminess. This is the book for you. I read things that were a first for me and that rarely happens anymore these days.
I loved the book but I wish we would of got a little more interaction with the main characters. This book has a lot of spice if your not into that then you shouldn't read it.
