I waited for years for this book! Carter's and Sera's story is so... broken.


Carter has always been there for his family regardless of anything. The night he left to be with his brother after his wife was attacked, Sera was supposed to tell him that she was pregnant. She didn't and the things that happened after that, left them both broken.
Years later they find each other but things just got worse, at least for a while. Until Sera finally decided to put herself and their daughter first, and that meant following her heart back to Carter.
It is a very small glimpse of their HEA but I hope it sticks.

I love the Vitale brothers and their very strong partners.
I hope there is another book to tie up loose ends.

I loved this book so much!! The drama and plot twist were crazy, but I didn't like how it ended because there was so much that was unfinished. Like what the heck did Gio mean by he wasn't innocent anymore?? I mean I have my theories, but I don't want to just have theories I want answers. I also think a good thing to explain more background on Anna's brothers is like an extended chapter or two of their point of views to give us more background when the authors mention them in the books. Overall, the book is pretty good. I would love for bonus chapters for each book so we can get a glimpse into everything.

Sera and Carter were once each other's everything but that all changes. And now uears on their paths cross again life had taken them in seperate courses but always kept them entwined . This story has it all action, desires, violence, heart aches, steamy scenes and more!.
