Rafe Martin, alpha of the Crossroads wolves, tries to live a peaceful existence with his pack near the state forest in Central Louisiana. Most of the time, he succeeds. It's only when others try to drag him into their problems that he has to remind them of his dominance and strength.
Lyric Taylor was born an Omega, the lowest of the low in pack standings. Abused and passed around freely to males in the pack, she has no hope of change or escape. Death would be a blessing, but her alpha is too cruel to allow it.
When Rafe meets Lyric, he makes a startling discovery, forever changing his life.
Madison Granger is a free-spirited late bloomer. She stubbornly lives by three beliefs: dreams can come true, never give up, and you're never too old to try new things. She is living proof of all three adages, vowing she isn't done by a long shot.
Born and raised near New Orleans and even closer to the swamps of south Louisiana, Madison Granger is no stranger to tales of the magical and different.
An avid reader, Madison grew tired of reading about young, flighty girls and began writing her own stories of mature women who aren't so quick to jump before looking first.
A great paranormal romance with wolf shifters. The story was well rounded with a little bit of everything from danger to romance to suspense and healing.
Some tropes to enjoy here are; fated mates, shifters, hurt/comfort, sweet understanding Alpha, caring strong Omega, found family, and more!
This story was a really good read. There was lots of abuse in the story – this was mentioned but never described in detail. So be ready for that. Rafe is a great Alpha- the way an Alpha should be. He was caring yet firm. I liked that he gave options and choices to the wolves that had been abused. He also quickly told Lyric she was his- but gave her time to adjust to the fact they were mates. Their story may have had a HEA but this story is far from over.
This is the first book by Madison that I've read and I enjoyed it. There are topics of abuse and drug use but they are handled well. This is not a long story but it is complete. I don't feel like there is missing information or things left out and I really appreciate that. Rafe steps up when a neighboring pack's alpha becomes really bad news and shows what a well run pack looks like. Recommend 18+.
What a wonderful story. Though what Lyric and the other Omegas got through is absolutely heartbreaking, and made my blood just boil! But, along comes their savior, Rafe, Alpha of the Crossroads Pack, who not only saves them, but also finds his Fated Mate in Lyric. Madison Granger knows how to draw you in with amazing characters and fantastic stories!

Rafe, an Alpha, wants to live peacefully with his pack. Unfortunately, outside problems have encroached upon his territory. Lyric, an Omega, is abused by her pack and wants a way out. Can Rafe be her knight and save her? Will Lyric follow him? Or will her Alpha stop them?
Rafe and Lyric's story is an intense one. Rafe trying to be a fair and just alpha and Lyric who had been abused in her old pack. Their story is one of growth and learning to trust and very sweet. You can count on Madison to deliver an awesome story.
She has done it agian! The characters and the couples are fabulous. Lyric is a peach. I can't want to keep reading about there story. The only downside is finishing this one after reading Maddox. You already know the ending and all the books intertwined very well.
Lyric lives in hell in her pack. When Rafe and his pack rescue the abused, he discovers something wonderful, amazing, and life-changing. I absolutely love their story.
