Freya Tempest is a spitfire with a quick wit and equal parts audacity and attitude who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to grab it when an opportunity presents itself. But Freya’s also a firm believer in fate. When she meets a man that seems a little too good to be true, she decides to sit back and see what destiny has in store. She leaves him with just a note, not even a kiss goodbye.

Cohyn Jefferson has felt utterly lost since he was set adrift on his own at a very young age. Luckily, his older brother knew exactly what he had been through and anchored him until he could find his way. Now it’s Cohyn’s turn to be that support for his little brother who might need more than he’s able to give.

A chance meeting throws Freya and Cohyn into the same orbit, and they find they’re much better together than apart. When an unknown danger rears its ugly head, Freya will have to fight for her life so she can get back to Cohyn and have the happily ever after that they both deserve.

Together, they’ll make a home for Cohyn’s little brother and other lost boys who might need to join their family. With the help of the other Tempests and their extended family from Rojo, Cohyn and Freya will find out that they have more than enough love to share as their family grows into the life they make together. This is the sixth book in the Tempest series. You’ll get to catch up with characters you’ve met in the previous books and some of the Rojo families that you’ve come to love.

This was probably my favorite of the whole series…ok maybe second favorite, after Loki’s story.
I just love this author’s sense of humor and I love the ‘found-family’ vibes she injects into all of her books.
Plus we got to see Martha and Smokey’s gang and catch up with them in this one, too.
I just really loved it.
The sex was brief and not as smutty as I would’ve liked, but still somehow sexy and it was surrounded by sweetness and humor so I didn’t mind so much. Another thing this author does pretty well.

This was just so sweet and sappy at times, and that cover, once it’s explained, becomes such a beautiful sentiment.
It was just so good.
I love the way things came back around full circle at the end. Just. So swoony.
I can’t wait to see who Sin ends up with.

This one...man it hit hard from the start. Cohyn being so lost, to finding his new life to being the person who helps boys like him, so great! Then there was the first meeting between Cohyn and Freya, so great! I was glad that it wasn't a one and done like Freya thought, but that the universe had more in store for them.

I loved how once Freya realized who Cohyn was, she didn't push him away, just treated him like anyone else, with a bit of side eye in still lusting over him. She was so great with Porter and helping Cohyn realize he was up for the task of being a parent to Porter. Cohyn might not have seen it right away, but being around Freya and her family was what both he and Porter needed. They could understand their past and relate and help them find the way to a normal that worked for them.

I loved how the Texas crew totally bowled over Cohyn, all the while welcoming him and Porter in with open arms. You know Cohyn was sitting them were cartoon eyes at some of the antics, but it was good for him to see these things, that family was more than what he could ever think of.

I hated the trouble that Freya found herself in, but so glad that she had the skills to take care of herself, but better was how her family surrounded her to let her know they loved and cherished her. The one act still bring tears to my eyes and makes the cover make so much more sense.

I loved how this one ended, loved knowing Cohyn and Freya were happy and that Porter was paying it forward.

Cohyn & Freya

I think the absolute worst thing about this book (and any Cee Bowerman book really) is that it has to end. I need these people in my life!! I have laughed with them, cried with them, lived with them, and loved with them. I can’t just let them go that easily. I guess it’s a good thing that I have bought all these books so that I can read them over and over again and they can always be with me.

I absolutely loved getting to know Freya more than ever before. And Cohyn? I love him! Just absolutely with my whole heart love him. He truly is the other half of Freya. Porter broke my heart and then made it grow bigger. All of Cohyn’s brothers just made the Tempest family even better. And of course, seeing the Texas Kings is just the cherry on top!

I am looking forward to Sin’s story while at the same time I almost don’t want it. I don’t want to see the end of this series! I love this family so much!

As always, Cee Bowerman has outdone herself and has my gratitude for putting her heart and soul out there for us all. Thank you! ❤️

An amazing series!

Everytime I read the stories in this series it causes so many different emotions... heartbreak, anger, sadness, happiness, excitement, love, and so much more. I fall in love with these characters even more after every new story. This family has been through unimaginable horrors, yet they're all thriving beyond what anyone would have ever thought. Even after everything that they've been through they still continue to fight, and most importantly, they do it together as a family should.
This is a unique series, but definitely a must read!!!
I would highly recommend that you read this authors other series prior to beginning this one. It's not necessary, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters, connections, the different groups/clubs, and the dynamics between all of them. They're all absolutely fantastic stories, and you certainly won't be disappointed!
I would suggest the following reading order: Texas Knights MC, Texas Kings MC, Connor Brothers Construction, Rojo, Texas series, and then this one. Or you could read all of the above in the order that they were released. Either way, you'll be hooked from the start!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

This is the 6th book in the Tempests series (there is 1 more to come). We 1st met the Tempests in Cee Bowerman’s Texas Kings MC series: Fain (Book 12). The Tempests were raised in a cult-like MC by their father who thought he was a Norse god. This book is about Freya Tempest a teacher and loving siter and aunt) and Cohyn Jefferson (who was raised in a similar (but not the same) alternative lifestyle (i.e., cult)). Cohyn (pronounced Co-win or Co-hin; as I was unsure how to say it (which bothers me) and contacted Cee Bowerman let me know how to pronounce it) and Freya had 1 great night together. Then they meet again, and both want more; after all who better than someone who grew up in a similar situation could understand them better. But the path to true love has some twists and turns with a sibling of Cohyn’s and a stalking situation. In the end true love triumphs.

If you are familiar with Cee’s Texas Kings MC series, there’s a chance to catch up with favorites and of course there is lots of laughs, after it is a Cee Bowerman book.

Cee writes stories of wonderfully strong women who meet and fall for strong, protective alpha males and this one is no exception.

Awesome book

I absolutely loved this book! Coyhn and Freya are so perfect for each other. I live how patient they are with Porter. I wish some of the teachers I had in school were like Freya. I loved getting to revisit with all the family from Texas and hearing all the stories on the kids. Hope we get a second generation books.
That one scene in the book and I'm not going to give it away but I was crying like a baby. That scene to me sums up how close and how much the Tempest's love one another.
I'm sad that this is the end of the this series even though there's still Sin that needs a book of her own but who knows maybe she will meets someone from Rojo and get a book in that series.

I'm sorry to see this series end

This book is fantastic. It's bitter sweet, this is the last one in this series. I was hoping I could read about Sin's story. I laughed, cried and was cheering for Freya and Cohyn through all they went through. They had similar backgrounds and I felt that's what makes their relationship special. They are all about family, and together and along with the Kings they sure do have a brood. I love all the characters it's always nice when Smokey, Martha and the family from Texas get together with them. They go through tragedies and are strong enough to seek help. The all work to help each through what life throws at them. I love how Freya and Cohyn's family grows.

Cee did it again!

First off, Cee. Where can I get on the train to this world you've made?

Freya would have been such an amazing teacher for me when I was in school. She actually cares about her students and how they are able to learn. Her life before the death and destruction her father dealt, taught her how to take the hits of life and how to come out the winner. Even with battle wounds to prove her strength.

I had to take a break while reading this story, the emotional support Freya gives her students. It is something I have NEVER experienced as a student or as a mother to a student.

I stand in awe of this author! Every single book evokes so many emotions. Cohyn and Freya managed to find the perfect person for them. Similar childhood backgrounds gives them such a solid foundation to build forever on. They really just click and its impossible to picture one without the other. Freya was exactly as magnificent as hoped for. Her strength, her love for her family, her adoration for children showed us her soul. Cohyn's sweetness and kindness got me right in the chest. He was just as strong his Freya with the same wonderful heart as the other Tempests. This series is going to be one I return to over and over again. All the stars, everywhere for Freya and Cohyn!

Family at it's best!

This book was amazing in a way I didn't expect not really a romance but a love story all the same. Freya and Corbyn was a family story and the love of that family. We meet new members and catch up with the rest of the Tempest clan. Ms Bowerman is awesome at keeping you laughing and understandng what a family stained by tragedy but kept together by their love for one another. Freya brings to souls together in love and bonding over the love of family. This book was with great insight on building characters that understand the meaning of love and family with romance.

Amazing read

Fantastic, touching, awesome.

Okay so Freya is the first female Tempest to get her story told.

I have loved all the Tempests and I thought Thorn was an emotional read but Freya hit me square in the chest.

Freya and Cohyn's story makes you feel every single emotion, all the way from happiness, relief, sadness and even the warm fuzzys.

Cee has such a fantastic mind and has put so much time and knowledge into this story, from an educational point to a Viking religious one and has some very good points when it comes to teaching children that don't/can't learn in a normal school setting.

Cohyn and Freda

Please know that nothing I can say will do justice on describing this story. So I am going to state how this book affected me. I felt as thought I was in the middle of every conversation, listening to family I loved. This book is amazing. It has lots of people interactions, a confrontation and resolution. We get a glimpse of what happens after a family goes through a traumatic event and how they cope, joke and discuss and live through the aftermath. I loved every minute of it. Thank you. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Highly recommend. Enjoy this one.

Freya is book 6 in the Tempests family series written by the amazing author Cee Bowerman. She writes about love, loyalty and family in all her books. I really enjoyed her writing style and can’t wait to read more books by Cee. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful romance!!!! Freya & Cohyn's story got a bit of everything that you want while reading a romance novel; laughter, tears, swoon worthy moments, family banter, bit of danger, amazing characters and of course a sweet beautiful romance. I really enjoyed her writing style and can’t wait to read more books by Cee. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful romance!!!! Highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read Sins book.

Cohyn, Freya and Porter

Cee does an amazing job with these stories and I think they can and do get more heartbreaking with each of them, but it also shows how all of them have endured and overcome so much and still have so much love to share. Wow and with Cohyn and Porter and yes others joining them as they have been dubbed the "lost boys", but looks like Freya and Cohyn and then the rest of the boys are just continuing to look out for them and watch them grow up and learn to love also. Happy reading.

Wow... just WOW!!!

I loved Freya's story. Cee Bowerman you did it again. I started the book and binge read it cover to cover. I laughed, cried and raged right along with them. I love that Freya is a strong woman. I love they just accept people as they are. Cohyn is a great partner for Freya. They help each other adjust and grow. It was good to see the Rojo crew in there as well. Freya so deserved her HEA. Sad to see the series coming to an end. But have fallen in love with every one of them. Cee another amazing series.

Strong and tender all at the same time

You never know what life is going to place upon you at any given moment. Freya came from a horrible place but grew to be strong and tender all at the same time. Her link to her siblings and life was something physical but also emotional for her. Finding someone that felt the same way about family and making sure those that don’t have it get it and that is lots of love and patience. Cee Bowerman has done it again with a heartbreaking and heartwarming story.

Have read and reread your books

There is only one thing I dislike about your books, they have an ending. I love how they cross the line of the law, but they do it for they right reasons.
Known the Kings and Knights, waiting to purchase Donovan's and Tempests, I do own some Tenillo.
Due to working overnights, I read more(and reread) all the books I can get my hands on.
I really hope you are able to write about the King, Knight and Tempest 2nd generation, of course that would be quite a lot, since they have lots of kids.

Freya rocked, book 6 has it all!

You will love this story filled with family and intrigue. Cohyn is the love interest with one heck of a story, add in a stalker and you have a story that rocks! Everyone is invited to this party, we even get a visit from Martha and Smokey. Fresh is one tough cookie. The love that her and Cohyn share is beautiful add Porter into the mix, bam you have a special little family. I can't forget Amigo and Lucy two great dogs. Five star, must read. Peace out.

I absolutely LOVED Freya and Cohyn's story.
Ever since meeting the Tempests I always wondered how the sisters stories would be.
Would the brothers be over the top protective? Would they threaten the guy?
This book made me feel so many different emotions, and I think is one of my favourite of the series!
The connection between them and the love and respect he has for her was beautiful.
Definitely a MUST READ!
Can't wait to see what comes next!

Freya

This was the BEST book! The Tempests have been through so much in their lives but they have always had each other. Freya meeting Cohyn was fate and destiny at its best. I cried so hard sometimes I had to stop reading for a minute but it was good tears. As always, Cee slammed the ball out of the park with this book. Please, if you have the opportunity to choose a book by Cee Bowerman, do it. You will never ever regret it.

Cee hits another one out of the park!

Ok so I have read all The Tempests books in one day. All the stories have been so good but this one really gets to the nitty gritty of their family life. How they are strong and resilient by every thing that has happened to them. Plus how can you not be happy to have that taste of Rojo again. This couple has such a beautiful and sexy story. Thank you Cee Bowerman for Texas and Colorado and all the love of a family.

So close to a 5

I would have given this book 5 stars of it wasn't for the characters having had serious previous relationships and one night stands. I just don't like any level of promiscuity in characters. I at least don't want to know about it. It ruins the romance of the book. I loved it otherwise. I do feel like there are tons of loose ends now with all the brothers and adopted children. Will they get stories?

Hard to put down

I found the series during lockdown and I have fallen in love the character. Each one's story slightly different but the theme running through is a sense of friendship, community and love. I find the characters hilarious. I laugh with them, cry with them get angry on their behalf. Thank you for creating this awesome series. Great imagination. I love the characters. Hope there's a younger generation series in the making. Awesome😀

I love this book!

I can always count on Cee to make me laugh and give me all the feels. In Freya she took those feels and danced a jig on them before bouncing them off the walls a few times. It was amazing, I've already read it twice and I'm ready to dive in again. Possibly her best book yet, but it's so hard to decide, they are all amazing.

What can I say but cee you absolutely smashed it like always. Freya's story was everything I wanted and more! just gutted it wasn't longer. Cohyn and porter were the perfect pairing for Freya. Thoroughly enjoyed and impatiently awaiting the next book. Definitely going to be re-reading them in order too.
