भरपूर पैसे असणाऱ्या व्यक्तीने काहीतरी गफला, लांडीलबाडी करूनच तो पैसा कमावला असणार असा बऱ्याच लोकांचा समज.. त्याला छेद देण्यासाठी आर्थिक साक्षरता महत्वाची! ही सुरूवात प्रफुल्ल वानखेडेंनी केल्याबद्दल त्यांचे मनापासून आभार. चांगल्या मार्गाने भरपूर पैसा कमवा आणि आपलं, आपल्या कुटंबाचं आयुष्य सुखकर बनवा हे लेखक निःसंकोच सांगतात. लेखकांनी त्यांच्या वैयक्तिक तसेच व्यावसायिक आयुष्यातील कथन केलेले अनुभव हे आम्हासारख्या engineer लोकांसाठी खूप मोलाचे आहेत. बचतीचं आणि गुंतवणूकीचं गणित लेखकांनी वाचकांच्या मनावर बिंबवण्याचा एक चांगला प्रयत्न केला आहे. अशी अनेक पुस्तकं यावीत, मराठी लोकांनी ती वाचावीत. प्रफुल्ल वानखेडेंचा हा एक स्तुत्य उपक्रम!

आर्थिक साक्षरता हा विषय सध्या आजूबाजूला चांगलाच ऐकायला मिळतोय. या पुस्तकात केवळ आर्थिक साक्षरता या विषयावरच नव्हे तर मानवी जीवनाच्या मूलभूत प्रेरणाविषयी भाष्य केलेले आढळते.
लेखक केवळ थियरॉटिकल न सांगता स्वतःचे आणि आजूबाजूच्या लोकांचे अनुभव अतिशय ओघवत्या शब्दात व्यक्त करतात.

It is a personal finance related book, written in simple Marathi language. It has given some important lessons/ advices with his personal life experiences/ stories.
Some of the important lessons I found are as follows:
Page 10: The 5 important skills for future work force: Learn, Network, Financial planning, Sales, Patience and continuity/ consistency.
Pg 39: Long term investment in money and people/ network = Net worth
Pg 55: Technical knowledge + Knowledge of dealing/ transact (व्यवहार ज्ञान) = Business success.
The only motto/ purpose of business is to make PROFIT.
Pg 68: Emergency fund: Keep aside 10 - 30% of income (or 3-6 times of monthly expenses).
Pg 78: Invest in yourself, read to learn then revise, think, reread and apply.
Pg 83: Invest in people, networking will help for all aspects.
Pg 91: Patience in investment. Learn and understand Compound interest, 8th Wonder.
Pg 96: Be Humble! Down-to-Earth.
Pg 99: Time management, Being available on time creates GOODWILL.

This is a great way to write a book.
Reader pretty much learns a lot from the real life stories that author narrates. It feels like you are living someone's life just to learn more about Financial literacy and about life in general.
Comparing the lessons I learnt by reading books like Rich dad Poor dad, this book widens the view of a reader from a pure money making mentality to a wholesome view towards life in General.
Robert Kiyosaki only recognizes Money and mindset to earn money as "Wealth" in Rich dad Poor dad, where as, Author of this book does not disregard the other forms of wealth like Empathy, relationships, experiences, work ethic etc.
Glad to see such book in Marathi.

प्रत्येकाने आयुष्यात(जेवढ्या लवकर) एकदा तरी वाचावे असे MUST RECOMMENDED BOOK. कायम संग्रहित ठेवावे असे पुस्तक.
The very complex terminologies in Finance domain are explained in very simple, easy-to-understand, and layman's language. Most English books on financial literacy give references from foreign wisdom but this book touches the indian(Marathi) references and gives a comprehensive way of financial literacy.
It does explain well against all the conventional ways of the investing.
