Robert was inspired to create the CHERUB series by his nephew after he complained about the lack of anything for them to read. CHERUB: The Recruit was Robert's first book and won the Red House Children's Book Award 2005 in the Older Readers Category.
Following the last book in the CHERUB series, it was revealed that a trilogy would be released starting from August 2011 that will focus on a new set of CHERUB agents centred upon Ryan Sharma and also involve an sixteen year old Lauren Adams. The first book will be called People's Republic.
Check out the Hendersons Boys series. Henderson's Boys is a series of young adult spy novels written by English author Robert Muchamore. The series follows Charles Henderson, the creator of the fictitious CHERUB organisation.
CHERUB is currently being made into a TV series.

You know ever since I started reading this series I can’t help but notice it’s trying to say about the real world. Probably just my imagination, I mean our world is nowhere as corrupt as the one depicted in this….. oh wait.

Judgment day
Another great book in the modern Robin Hood series. I like the use of current and slightly futuristic technology. I also that Robin is getting older but is still not old enough to be an adult.
The first encounter in this book was great as it showed the choice Robin had to make, which every hero has to make at some point. I also like how the characters react to Robin after not only his greatest victory but Marion being arrested.
In this book, there are two main objectives stop Guy from becoming the new Sheriff of Nottingham and to win the appeal of Robin's father. However, in the second case, Robin's reputation might be more harmful than useful.
This is getting very interesting but there is still lots to do, and I would not mind having a bit more action and Robin showing off his archery and new combat skills.

Politics, corruption, power, crime, degradation of the environment, marginalisation, prejudice, poverty, family, friendships, love, and hate - it’s all there.
The teen world - ‘that awkward age’ – is wryly depicted through Robin’s often melodramatic eyes, with quirky twists and turns and poignant moments.
For those familiar with the Robin Hood story (Howard Pyle 1955 version anyone?), it tickles the funnybone to see the old names come back to life, including the 'Maids', the Sheriff of Nottingham, Alan Adale and so many more.

I just love how Muchamore can channel so much content in such a little amount of pages.

This was a classic Robert Muchamore car crash. Sensationaly enthralling.
I loved the returns of Alan Adale and Ardagh hood with Ardagh running for election.
The plot with Guy Gisborne was interesting and exciting.
I've never given a book in this series 5 stars before, so BOOOOM! 💥
