Twenty years ago, boy-next-door actor Brandon Ward played a geeky superhero on a floundering television show – a show everyone, including himself, now wants to forget. Outed as a gay man, his acting career tanked, and the entire cast was blacklisted.
Two decades later, Brandon's relegated to minor comic con appearances and the lingering melancholy of missed opportunities and broken dreams. When a mysterious stranger offers to bankroll a revival of the show that ruined his career, Brandon's life comes full-circle.
Filled with questions and dreading dredging up painful memories, Brandon is at a crossroads: accept the billionaire's lucrative offer or walk away from the opportunity to revive his career and potentially save the world in the process?
Is the muscular billionaire a true fan or something more?
Note: The Spaceman's Omega is a complete standalone non-shifter mpreg (male pregnancy) story. This science fiction romance novel contains steamy descriptions of outdoor encounters with a muscled alien with a HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhangers.
A new-to-me author that I have every intention of making a go-to one with this story! Even though mpreg isn’t usually my first choice, there was so much more to this book than pregnancy. The storyline was intriguing, with the rest of the narrative being just as good, if not better. There was suspense, mysterious events, and a recreation of a dying intellectual sitcom.
Alen, who was a different species, was a rather enjoyable character. Brandon, the human, is a little more difficult to explain. There was difficulty connecting with his character, probably because of the repetitive lines from his character. OAN, these two were absolutely adorable! Alen went above and beyond to make sure Brandon, and eventually their son Maurice, had everything needed. Smut scenes were interesting and unique, with evident chemistry. And, that birth!!!!!
This is the first time I’ve read this author and it won’t be the last. The characters were well developed and the storyline was sweet, fun and entertaining. It’s been a while since I’ve read a Mpreg book and I forgot how fun they were. Brandon was a child star with a hit TV series until he was outed and then he was deemed unemployable. No one wanted to work with him on the show even though he had a squeaky clean/boy next door image. Now 20 years later someone wants to bring back the show and hire Brandon on. Alen is the one that wants revive the show and he is not as he appears. What will Brandon do when Alen reveals himself?
Well I was having a great time, a twist can be great but when it makes the love interest suddenly a huge dick and their whole romance based on even more deception I'm out 😬
The whole concept of the Volardi being interested in the concept of creativity which humans have large amount off was fun. While they had many adaptations and technology far beyond humans, they didn't have entertainment as part of their culture.
Alien and Brandon's initial meeting is lovely, the setting with the TV show Omega one was amazing. I adored all of the scenes on set, the descriptions of the acts and show overall were great kept me entertained.
The romance is slow and then a speed run, based rather heavily on lust and admiration more then actual getting to know one another. However I was charmed with the development, details revealed and learning alongside Brandon.
Also has amazing side cast especially in Thomas and Maurice who I adored, their relationships with Brandon were lovely.
Giving all the found family vibes. Oh and plenty of action, along with some spicy moments which were interesting.
Sadly the story drops a bomb in the last part, revealing Alen has basically been bullshitting for a lot of the story. To impregnate is the goal as they haven't got many fertile left of their kind but compatible with humans , Volardi are an empire taking control of planets in return for their inventions and support in future. His interest in the show while true was simply a bonus, the Volardi were coming for different reasons.
I don't know maybe there is some other explanation/progress in the last 50pgs, but I am too annoyed and disappointed I have no interest in continuing. It's just much too late in the story to be throwing in, while a series the other books about different couples I believe. So leaves not enough time for development and conclusion to me for Brandon & Alen.

THE SPACEMAN'S OMEGA is the first book in what appears will be a series. It tells of Alen, a Volardi, coming to Earth for various reasons. One of which is to resuscitate Omega One - a science fiction TV show that bombed due to Brandon being pushed out of the closet.
Although enjoyable, I found the interaction between Alen and Brandon quite forced in places, and their relationship was full of exceedingly swift about-turns. It made for some disjointed reading. I found descriptions of events and people were repeated constantly, along with other smaller details that weren't really necessary to the general story arc.
There is a lot going on in this book - US government, Volardi secrets and plans, male pregnancy, not forgetting Alen and Brandon themselves.
This was a good way to start the series but it didn't push every button for me as I found myself distracted between one or the other things mentioned above. It seems as though Thomas' story is next which I look forward to reading, to see if things have smoothed out. ** same worded review will appear elsewhere **

Wow! I thought this would be just like all the other Mpreg romances, but this book certainly had my attention. Imagine earth being taken over by another race because they were technologically superior to anything that we could produce. Brandon is a male actor who was persecuted because of his sexuality back in the 80s and he couldn’t get any kind of acting job other than voice overs. When he meets Alen, an alien who appeared like a human, Brandon was attracted to him and after being convinced to redo the TV show that was cancelled, it was a reason why his career bombed out, he was changed in a way that he didn’t foresee. Not only was Brandon change forever but also some of his dear friends from the time Omega One was created. There is lots of action and espionage and elements of danger throughout the story that kept me enthralled and wanting to continue reading the book. I was not disappointed and I look forward to future books in this series.

This book was just fine. Nothing inherently wrong with it but nothing that firmly stood out to me either. Brandon our MC fell rather flat to me in terms of a character. Alen I found to be much more interesting. However, I didn't enjoy the way he treated Brandon at multiple times throughout the book. Typically I expect more spice when reading any type of MPreg book and this book had some but not as much as I would expect. There were also aspects of it that I felt were kind of disjointed due to there trying to be too much going on. I think if the author would have focused more on the core aspects of the Volardi world's and the issues with the US government this would have rated a little higher for me. Overall, if you are looking for a non shifter MPreg book this might be a good option for you.

This was definitely a different, yet enjoyable read. A race of gay aliens are migrating to Earth in the hopes of finding love (and to make some babies). Alen is the first of his kind to do so, testing the waters one may say. His people have an unhealthy obsession with an obscure sci-fi show that barely saw the light of day. A show that, over 20 years ago, Brendan stared in, then subsequently crashed and burned when it failed. The two meet and sparks fly, but can an alien and a human really work? The Spaceman's Omega was full of cool inventions, twists and turns, and some insta-attraction between our two MCs. I will say, some parts of the story were a little lost on me, and I think the story could've been a little bit shorter, but I enjoyed it overall. I look forward to Thomas' story next!
So, frankly, this book was kind of meh for me. It felt long, way too long. Lots of attention was given to Brandon’s acting career and the big action scene in the middle when the military tries to abduct everyone, but the relationship lacked real development. This book read like a sci-fi first and a romance as a distance second. This wasn’t helped by the sex in this book being, well, not exactly fade to black but close to it. Very unmemorable. There’s a short semi breakup period that I can’t even remember how it was resolved. The emotion in their relationship was so apparently absent in the writing I speed-read just to finish it. I probably won’t read the second one. I’m annoyed that it made Thomas, Brandon’s best friend, a surfer when I don’t remember any mention of it in this book.
This is my first book by this author, and I don’t know if this is her natural writing style, or if it was done purposefully for this particular book. While the storyline was intriguing, the dialogue was stiff, even adding in alien vernacular . This story could’ve been so much more if there had been even a little bit of chemistry between Alen and Brandon. I did like all of the side characters, found family. There were just a lot of paragraphs in the story that made no sense, and I’m not sure if it was the alien aspect or just writing that didn’t capture me Not sure if I’ll read any more by this author I’ll have to let it sit for a while, and see, because I do love MPreg and I liked the premise of the story
It takes all sorts. When he was younger, Brandon was in a TV show that could have been relatively successful, until he was outed, then the show was cancelled. He and all who were associated with him, were deemed not employable. No one wanted to work the show, as they considered it toxic. He was the squeaky clean, boy next door, who is tarnished. Alen, not from earth, showed up and wanted to revive Omega One. Will Alen's people fly under the government radar? Can Alen get anyone to commit? Will 20 years of aging have changed perspectives? Will Alen succeed in his mission? Interesting concept. Nice adventure. Good story. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was a little worried at the beginning of the story because there were striking similarities between it and another famous alien story. I shouldn't have worried, though, as it ended up being a nice new take on A/B/O, alien style.
The story is compelling, but there were a few times when I wish the author "showed" instead of "told". A lot of potentially great dialogue was missed through using description instead.
I would definitely recommend this story, especially if you like awkward alien hotties and rooting for the little guy. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Brandon, a washed up actor, meets Alen, a billionaire genius, who not only wants to revive his 20 years old show but turns out to be an alien. This book is jam packed with sci fi and what if situations for these two. Another complication comes from their romance between the two species. I felt there was too much going going on with Brandon up and down with his feelings, a constant upheaval with the alien secrets and plans and government interference. Perhaps it would have been better to have two books to focus on fewer things at a time. I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.
Trigger Warnings: off page violence, unexpected pregnancy, homophobia
The Spaceman’s Omega is an Mpreg science fiction story that takes place in a modern day Earth. There is strong world building but it dragged on and I felt like the primary story took too long to get going. Once the action started I did not want to stop reading. I laughed out loud at the snarky banter. I really liked the angst and sexual tension between our main characters. By end of the book I was fully caught up in this story and I am looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed this book. It was an interesting premise. Brandon played a superhero on the TV show Omega One, but when people found out he was gay, the show was canceled and a lot of careers were ruined- including his own. Twenty years later, a strange but attractive billionaire wants to revive the show with the original cast and made him an offer he couldn't refuse. But Alen was far more than he appeared. Good world building. This was a fun read. It's the first book I've read by this author and I would read more. 4 stars.
So. This one was not for me. The characters were for me a bit flat and childish and their interactions were falling kinda feeling empty. I had a hard time getting myself in it. It's not the writing style that made it hard but the overall feeling of the book. I still finished it but I wouldn't read a possible second book. Not for me. I feel this could be easier to get into without the multiple repetition of "emotional sequences" and the whole repetitive kinda vibe.

Just finished this book and WOW. This author grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. The characters are beautifully written and the Sci-Fi meets Hollywood romance, spectacular. I don’t want to give anything away, but believe when I say this book will leave you wanting more and wondering when the next book will come out!

The spaceman's omega is a sci-fi romance and follows the story of Brandon and his Alien lover, Alen. The book has good worldbuilding, great characters, and mpreg. The book was well-written and had an interesting story. Would love to see Thomas' story in a later book.

Brandon Ward starred as a sci-fi superhero on a television show that was cancelled when people found out he was gay. Two decades later, a stranger, Alen who is not from Earth, asks if he wants to bring the Omega One show back. Now Brandon has to figure out if the man is simply a fan of the old show, or if something more is going on.
Story was good. CAVEAT - Rating is for story only. Too difficult to follow. Phrases were either incomplete or did not get across their meaning. Unlike other reviewers, I won't be reading more by this author. (I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.)
This book is okay, but I had a hard time getting through this book. I enjoyed parts of it but just found it did not "grab" me and pull me in as I could not connect with the characters of the book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a sweet sci fi romance, where aliens come to Earth because of a old serie-Omega one .I think it 's a good story, nice characters but too long,to much lines describing his thoughts, makes it a litle boring.
This is a touch winded at times but overall a cute story I liked the characters but too much fill kept dragging me away from the story I was not able to get the connection I like with the characters
That is a definite me thing! There is a great story here and the detail is there
DNF @41% ... I tried to stick it out because I so wanted to find more m/m aliens, but gah. The writing was just so... awkward. The story itself was a bit slow, but really, it was the lack of writing craft that finally had me giving up.
This story was hard to follow and it really didn't hold my attention. There were parts that I enjoyed reading but for the most part I just couldn't get into it. I received an ARC of this book for my honest review.
I enjoyed this book but having some of the conversations glossed over threw me off a bit at times I enjoyed all the characters they were all interesting and the book kept my attention and I liked it and enjoyed Brandon and Alens relationship
This story was a slow start for me. After a few chapters it got to be an interesting sci fi story. My opinion it was a slow burn MPreg Romance between Brandon, the boy next door actor and Alen, an alien billionaire. I interesting pair their journey has their struggles being from 2 different planets!!
I received this as an ARC and voluntarily leaving my review.
