May Your Vision Be True

Rate this book
There are moments that change a kid’s life forever.

Before Sheena Meyer ever saw the archangel save her father. Before the strangest night of her life in the field, witnessing a battle between angels and the Murk. Before she found out, she had to die…

There was a vision.

Sheena didn’t know it, but that vision would determine her future.

Sheena thought she knew how things worked–things like figuring out middle school and how to be a teenager. But most thirteen-year-olds didn’t know about dark hope-stealing forces or the secrets below a city.

Sheena comes from a long line of gleamers, and that’s okay. But now she’s having visions that are leading to something big–a future she doesn’t want to see come to pass.

All Sheena wants is a break from it all, to spend time with friends and enjoy her last year of middle school, and a life without danger.

But first, she has to convince the angels.

Join Sheena and her Gleamer Squad in this thrilling seventh book in the Sheena Meyer series and consider the consequences of losing your vision.

Angel Girl Fan For Life… & Beyond!

Another amazing book in this series! How a now-50-year-old woman loves these characters so much must be because I taught children’s church and youth group for many years that causes me to still have the spirit of a teen. I write Christian Speculative Fantasy for Teen and Young Adult ages, so it must be my love for reading as well as writing this genre too. Looking forward to Book 8 to see what Sheena faces next! What is so amazing is that I felt this touch me personally since I’ve even taken my own ‘break’ due to losses during Covid. I can now say again that “I am the storm” too. THANK YOU! 💖&🙏🏻’s! Let's just say that the story gets better and better with each book. Sheena is amazing. In this volume Sheena wants to rest and it happens. But it makes her and her friends' relationship less. I also love that Logan and Sheena's relationship is like a sibling relationship. The few seasons Sheena was with Quincy... it was sad and weird. I also loved the part where she and Chana were hiding in the boys' locker room 🤣 and the meeting with Phoenix and the part where they went through the secret passage in the closet. (Sheena cried in Theodore's arms? I've been imagining and wanting that to happen for a while now.) The ending was captivating and exciting and like other Sheena books: faith, belief in God, light and hope and love. Reading Sheena Meyer's series always makes me feel good.

I received an ARC (advanced reader copy) book. May Your Vision be True is the 7th book in the Sheena Meyer series and is such a great installment in the series! Just like every other book in the series, I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s filled with drama, humor, and the group’s crazy shenanigans. But most importantly, it’s filled with hope and encouragement. Even though Sheena and the gang have gone through a lot of stuff, they keep pushing through it—together. Heroes don’t give up. They keep going, no matter how hard it is. That’s what LB Anne teaches us through this book. And as always, I love the characters. I can’t wait for the next book!

I'm pretty sure this was a good ending to the series. I say I'm pretty sure because I can hardly remember anything that happens in it. I would still recommend though.
Edit: Apparently there will actually be more books in the series, as well as a spin-off series. I don't know if I will read the rest of the series, because I feel like this book solves everything that needs to be solved and I don't know if I like this series enough to continue.

It catches your attention immediately

It makes you fall into the depths of the Sheena Meyer world and I have many times imagined myself in it. It keeps you on your toes while not stretching the story too far

Chica alert!!

The book had a lot of twists and turns it was sad seeing Sheena without her friends for a while. I like
the conversations with Phoenix which was one of my favorite things in the book and I wonder will we see him more in the next book?
