Hampton Hearts #4

Full Out Fiend

Daphne

As a little girl, I believed in fairy tales.

Prince Charming saving the princess. The promise of a better life. The magic of happily ever after.

But I’m pretty sure Sleeping Beauty never woke up to a text message from Prince Charming’s brother, informing her that they’d both been granted “free passes” for the weekend of their bachelor and bachelorette parties.

I can’t believe this is my life. But I’ve already made my decision, and I’m confident about what happens next. The wedding is off. I won’t be the victim in this story.

I’m ready to take back my power. One night of pleasure with the wildly attractive man I meet at The Oak is just what I need to start rewriting my happily ever after.

What I didn’t anticipate? One night with Fielding might not be enough. Not only that—one night with him might change the trajectory of my life forever.

Fielding

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt anything in the hollow, tattered place my heart used to reside.

Then everything shifts when I lock eyes with a luminous angel in white.

She’s a ten. But she’s curvy as hell with an ass that’s literally two handfuls. So she’s a twelve.
She’s also the freaking bride to be—or was, according to her story.

I offer Daphne one night of pleasure, knowing damn well it won’t be enough. Now I want more. No, not just more—I want it all with her.

She’s reluctant to pursue the connection I know we both feel, and with good reason. So I’ll bide my time. Play the long game. Wait her out and do everything in my power to convince her she’s meant to be mine.

One thing’s for sure: I’m not giving up when it comes to my future with this woman.
It’s disgustingly on brand for me. If it’s off limits, I want it. Dangle the forbidden fruit in front of me, and I’ll stop at nothing until I obtain it. I’ve always been a full out fiend.

Abby met her husband at a house party the summer before her freshman year of college. He had a secret pizza stashed in the trunk of his car that he was saving for a midnight snack—how was she supposed to resist that level of golden retriever energy and preparedness? *ARC received from author in exchange for my honest review. *

When I say I love a character I mean it, but Fielding Haas is the character I love entirely. I've been by his side since day one. Even when he did despicable things, and I was heartbroken over those choices my love for him never faltered. His actions in the past are not forgotten by him getting his happily ever after. Abby took a character that so many loathed and gave him redemption. That is what this book is. Full Out Fiend is the story of Fielding Haas and how he was able to overcome the choices of his past and become a better man. I cried so many tears for the broken boy with golden hair and him getting his perfect ending was everything I could have hoped for and more.

If you think this book is nothing but emotions, you are wrong. Daphne and Fielding were fire from their very first night together. Just when I thought Abby couldn't make me melt any harder for one of her men she comes along and gives me a whole new side to Fielding Haas I never knew existed.

"I'll give you anything, angel. Starting with this orgasm and ending with forever. Now come for me."

Bossy with a breeding kink was not it but I was not sad about it. Holy gods, I needed a moment after a few of those scenes. Especially their first night together. Get your girl some water cause I was thirsty!!

A curvy heroine, a one-night stand and he falls first (because it is Field) Full Out Fiend is an emotional story about not letting your past ruin your future. The choices we make can follow us forever and Fielding knows that but just because you have made bad choices doesn't make you a bad person. If you love Abby's Hampton Hearts series, then do yourself a favor and read this book. You might not have been team Field in the beginning but by the end of this story I know you will be rooting for him just as much as I always was.

SURPRISE!! My latest release, Full Out Fiend, is officially Live on Amazon and free to read in Kindle Unlimited!

Full Out Fiend is an accidental pregnancy, he falls first romance featuring none other than Fielding Haas from the Hampton Hearts series and Fourth Wheel.

Love him or love to hate him, Fielding’s story is uniquely his own.

I really enjoyed this one night stand and accidental pregnancy with a HEA story! Fielding has such a bad reputation from past books and I feel like this book redeemed him. I love how both characters are broken, have one night stand and oops! But he stands up to the plate and is there for Daphne and the baby 110%! Daphne's ex was extremely annoying and just couldn't take a hint! I'm so glad she broke it off with him because no one should endure how he talked and treated her! I love how Fielding stood up to both her parents and her ex because of how they were with her! All around a great story! Plenty of spicy scenes too! 🥵 Recommend picking up the others in the series first but definitely pick this one up afterwards.

After I got less confused by the writing style in the first three pages, I started to really enjoy the book, especially the beginning. The hero, Fielding, was so hot and dreamy. Handsome, excellent in bed, caring, protective, intelligent, deep, loving, rich. What more can you ask for? He gave me Venus in Scorpio (and Cancer moon) vibes.

He was so great that I didn't even think the heroine, Daphne, deserved him. She annoyed me, by making Fielding wait for (2?) months for them to declare a relationship, her not trusting him, and her about to go into a mental breakdown when it was F's time to. Not that a woman should have to sacrifice her career when she's pregnant, but surely she could have cut down some of her shifts as a cosmetologist sooner? She made waxing people's bikini lines sound so important. Your boyfriend is a med student, and he's rearranging his schedule in a way that inconveniences him to help support you and the baby.

Also, the author wrote twice, "I let out the breath I didn't know I had been holding." The book is written in the present tense, alternating POV between Fielding and Daphne. I'm not the biggest fan of books in the present tense, but I only noticed once (that this book was written in the present tense).

I received this book from BookSirens in exchange for a review, but that hasn't affected my review.

The way I was a fiend to read this book is an understatement 😆 Another author out here putting straight crack in their books! After finishing Fourth Wheel I had to immediately start Fieldings book! I’m a sucker for a redemption story and as Abby Millsaps put it… everyone deserves a happily ever after ♥️ I was immediately all in giving him the benefit of doubt and he didn’t disappoint… not one bit! The character development between both Fielding and Daphne was captivating and their chemistry undeniable!! I don’t think I have yelled at a book so much for a couple to just give in and be together!! I’m so sad it’s over but I absolutely loved how it ended!

This book would have been so much cuter if it hadn't been so dramatic. Only after I started this book is that I realized it was part of a series or a spin-off of a series... honestly, the book would have been a solid read if it weren't for the melodrama and ominous hints at Fieldings past.

Cute read, but not worth the hype that TikTok gave it.

Well this book was entertaining.. Fielding is a charmer and a sweetheart of a guy. He may have made some bad decisions in his past, that sometimes get brought up in face for spite, but he has goals. He wants medical school but one night changes for him. Meeting Daphne and falling head over heels wasn't in the plan but he makes her a priority. A BIG ONE!!! Daphne is the girl who wasted 10 years on the wrong guy. Her parents had plans for her and was ok with it until the night she met Fielding.. He showed her passion and care she never felt before. These two have their issues that they need to overcome and make their relationship work. Daphne is scared to really open up and say how she feels. She's a sheltered girl. Fielding is amazing though!! He takes their situation and handles it like a pro. He makes sure she is taken care of and treated like a Queen. These two were great together and have a bright future!!!!

Fucking Fielding…he was the fuckboy we all loved to hate. But he finally got his shot at happily ever after and didn’t want to ruin it with the demons of his past.

Of all the questionable and atrocious things Fielding did in the past, he still deserved to find his happy. I didn’t expect to fall for him but there were so many moments in this book that had me swooning. The way he took care of Daphne and made sure her needs were met 😍🥹

I still don’t forgive him fully for what went down with Tori, but I can appreciate the steps he’s taken and the strides he’s made to turn his life around and try to be a better man.

Also feel like I got glimpses into my current life and future with this book. I related to Daphne as well with her insecurities and doubt. I binged it in 2 sittings and neglected responsibilities to do it and I’m not ashamed about it.

I loved everything about this book! Fielding Hass is literally book boyfriend perfection. Full Our Fiend is an accidental pregnancy, he falls first, forced proximity, one night stand romance.

These characters are broken, but when they come together it’s magic. They are perfect for each other and the chemistry between them is hawt.

1000% Team Fielding!

I absolutely love Fielding and there was nothing you could say to change my mind. I know he did some messed up things but he was also a mess. My heart just went out to him. I adored him in Dem and Maddie’s book and I’m so glad I get to know and love more of him as he figures out his life with Daphne. Okay so these two together were insane. That chemistry and sexual tension was soooo thick on the page you could cut it with a knife.

To be honest, I was nervous going into this book Both of them are loaded with insecurities and Fielding has a crazy past and they each were so lost yet so found at the same time. I really enjoyed how Abby wove them all together and had each of them grow indecently as well as a part of their duo. Fielding sticking up for her with her family and then letting her fight for her and both of them against Anthony gave me all the feels. It was all so perfect for their story. And F** the Adleys!?!? I wish them the absolute worst.

I haven't read any of Abby Millsaps books before and I really enjoyed my first.

Full Our Fiend is part of a series, number 8 in the Hampton Hearts Series to be exact, but that didn't matter. It could be read as a stand-alone, as I did, and still be very much enjoyed.

This was a fun small-town romance, with a billionaire, a betrayed bride-to-be, and a one-night stand that ends with a pregnancy, and the MMC falls first and hard having to prove to the FMC that they are meant to be.

Abby hits some tougher points with the FMC's family (mainly her mother) being unsupportive and at times quite mean to her. The MMC has a troubled past and has taken things too far too fast in the past. He has his own demons to deal with to prove he is more than his past mistakes.

There were some really fun moments, some sweet, some really steamy, and some a little more emotional.

Overall this was a great story with really good characters and I'd happily read more of this series or others that Abby Millsaps puts out.

Daphne is supposed to be enjoying her bachelorette party instead she's faking her way through it until she is able to speak to her fiance, or rather her ex-fiance as soon as she can talk to him. He's off in Vegas celebrating his bachelor party but thanks to the text she received from his brother she's been told they both have a free pass and he plans to use his. Daphne can't let this one go and the only person who knows what is really going on is her best friend.

Fielding is frequenting his friend's bar and as usual, flirting with the women especially those attending bachelorette parties. It used to be a game he and his brother would play until his brother fell hopelessly in love. When he makes his way to the current party table the woman in the middle of it all catches his attention it's not long before Fielding gets the sense that everything is not right in her world.

When he gets her alone the chemistry between the two is instant and Daphne throws caution to the wind to have a one-night stand with the very sexy Fielding. She's never done it before but with everything going on right now, a night of passion with him seems like the smartest decision she's ever made. It's cut short though when Daphne turns her phone back on only to find it going crazy with messages and her ex pinging her location. Not wanting to get Fielding involved she takes off before he can stop her.

After their one night Fielding wasn't ready for Daphne to go, but worse than that he has something she needs to know. He can't tell if his need to find her is more to do with what happened that night or how much he wanted more with her.
'Even if we stayed up all damn night, it wouldn't be enough. I'm getting ahead of myself here. Typical. I don't know how to half-ass anything. I only play full out.'

Daphne needs to find Fielding again but the fallout from calling off her wedding is causing her as much drama now as the news she has to share with Fielding will. With little support from her family and her ex bothering her she's become more and more worn down by it all.
'Everything Fielding does feels right and real. Maybe right and real is what's been missing all along.'

Fielding finally finds her again and he wants to wrap Daphne up and take her away from everything that could hurt her. Seeing her again is only proving to him that he wants her. His past haunts him though and going full out to make Daphne his could cause pain for both of them.

Happy Reading.

This book is a bit hard to review. For the most part, I enjoyed it! There were times where the book was really good and there were times where… it was just okay.

I was hooked the first few chapters of the book where they meet for the first time. After that it was a bit obvious where it was going to lead to. I did think the pacing of the book was a bit too fast at times but at the same time it was slow burn. After their first encounter, Daphne decided they shouldn’t pursue a relationship since she just got out of one so nothing really happens until more than halfway through the book. There were sweet gestures happening in between though.

What I loved most about the book was Fielding (the H). For the most part he was the perfect understanding book boyfriend. And when they finally got together oof - I was obsessed with him. I wouldn’t say he was a pushover but I do wish he was a bit more alpha male. He was also a bit… obsessive? I don’t know if that’s the right term but here’s a quote from the book that would explain his behavior throughout the book “When my brother gets fixated on something, he’s laser-focused” and “He’s trying his best to keep from bouncing off the walls—but I know him well enough now to know he’s brimming with restless energy.”

Another thing I loved about this book was Fielding’s relationship with his twin brother Dempsey. I loved that Dempsey would drop everything to be there for his brother. I loved their scene together at the end.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Daphne (the h). I felt like she was too insecure which is completely valid but it was a little too much for me. I was happy to see her grow and stand up for herself at the end of the book.

Like I mentioned, the book did move fast at times, it would be weeks to months later and it would skip the scenes I wanted to see, scenes I felt like mattered. Like her relationship with her mom and her cervix issue. I wanted to experience those certain scenes with the characters instead of reading about it and how it was all resolved.

This book is a standalone but it is interconnected with other series/books. And although it was a standalone I felt like I was missing pieces of who Fielding is, even if it was kind of explained, I needed a bit more background. “His demons are still a mystery to me.”

But like I said, I did enjoy the book! It was just a bit long. Dempsey sounds amazing and I think I’m going to give his book a try!

This is a one night stand and accidental pregnancy and it is Fielding and Daphne's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Daphne is due to get married but when she received a text it out the final nail in the coffin as Daphne had put up with so much and now she has decided to call of the wedding and take her control and life back but first after meeting Fielding she decided that tonight was just for her. Fielding made eye contact with Daphne who he called his Angel and he just couldn't look away as he felt that she was so different from any other woman that he had met but he was busy with med school and could only give her one night even though deep down he knew that it would not be enough. Wow Wow Wow this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and I was definitely ready and willing to go along with Fielding and Daphne for this journey and even though they were both a little bit broken, have trust issue's and feel like they should just settle for what they have but nothing is further from the truth as to me they were so strong together and a force of nature when they combine there forces and the connection and chemistry between them was so strong, not and intense that you could feel it sizzling off the pages and I loved how Fielding was so caring, loving, dedicated, take no prisoners attitude, protective and has such a dirty and potty mouth but still able to be vulnerable and Daphne was stronger than she gave herself credit for because when it really mattered she was strong and took back her life living for herself and not anyone else and they were so perfect for each other and together they were stronger than ever and I absolutely loved the outcome of there story. This book was absolutely amazing, emotional and addictive and I couldn't put it down as it was a real page turner and the depth of the story is just what you would expect from Abby Millsaps who is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I can't wait to read more book's by her in the future.

I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

OMG, my book-boyfriend finally got his own book and I'm doing a happy dance. Abby, you made my day with this big surprise. If you have read Ms. Milsaps Hampton Hearts series you would have met Fielding Hass and may or may not have fallen in love with him. Was he an angel in the series, not always. He did some unspeakable things to the ones that he loved and has regretted it every day since. Ms. Milsaps grabs your attention from the first few words and you know that this story is going to be one that is so addictive that you will not be able to put it down.

Full Out Fiend is his story and he finally finds someone that turns him to mush, and that someone is Daphne. Being to very so flirty guy, Fielding finds a woman that is supposed to be having the time of her life at her bachelorette party but the opposite is happening. She is a curvy, sexy and smart woman that is looking to forget what has just happened in her life. Daphne ends up making a huge life-changing decision and has a one-night stand with Fielding, lucky girl. I'm not jealous, insert scarsm. Well, that hot and spicy night is all that Fielding can think of and he has to find her for one very important reason. When they finally meet again, their lives are completely thrown for a loop. Their chemistry is hot and they are perfect for one another. Can Daphne actually get Fielding to change his flirty ways? Will her past relationship and what happened cause her to question everything or can Fielding show her that he is all in? Can she get over his past discretions and look towards the future?

I have to say that this book had me falling even more in love with Fielding Hass. Yes, he is the bad boy that is trying to turn his life around and prove he is not that person anymore. If you are looking for a book that is hot, has a sexy guy and is dirty talk and is thoroughly a joy to read, then I suggest picking up Full Out Fiend. However, be prepared to need a cold drink or a shower.

I give this a 3.5, my first by Abby Milsaps. I did enjoy this story and at first I thought it would be a 5 star read but it got a little shaky in the middle. I’d definitely give more of her books a try.

The first few chapters were great! I loved the whole scorned bride, one night stand concept. I loved that Daphne had the strength to call off her wedding even amidst all of the pressure from people around her. She seemed pretty well put together for the instability and lack of real support from her family and Anthony. I immediately really liked Fielding. He’s super attentive, protective, patient, an open book and seems like a good guy despite his looming secret.

My issue with this book is the melodrama surrounding Fielding’s secret. A huge chunk of the angst is him waiting for the shoe to drop when Daphne finds out what he’s done.. I still don’t actually know! That one phone call with Dempsey and meet up with Jake left me with more questions, then we just moved past it. Whatever “atrocities” (that’s literally how Abby describes it) Fielding committed takes place in an earlier series but if you’re not going to repeat all the details in THIS book, it shouldn’t be so important to the story. At the very least there should be a disclaimer that says you HAVE to read the earlier series to understand this one. Because I didn’t get the answers I needed I became annoyed and just wanted it to be over.

Had there been a detailed conversation, a flashback, a dream sequence.. anything to actually tell me what “atrocities” happened this could have been a 5 star read. The chemistry between Daphne and Fielding was catching. Their little family was cute. The spice was good. I enjoyed the writing style. The problem really is that it’s not made clear this is a redemption story so if you read this first it feels incomplete. If you read the Hampton Hearts series first the experience might be better!

When @abbymillsaps randomly threw up advertisement for this book on social media with “surprise” plastered all over it, I was flabbergasted because how dare such a wonderful secret like this be kept, but I also audibly gasped because I was SO EXCITED for Fielding to get his own book. That may be an unpopular opinion since Fielding isn’t the most liked character, but I had a soft spot for him the entire time I read “Fourth Wheel”, and since I haven’t yet read the books that came before, I went into this read perceiving him as a golden retriever cinnamon bun…that is haunted by internal demons and has issues. (But don’t we all have some issues??) You get to see a lot of that in this book. Fielding and Daphne go so well together, and coming from the perspective of a plus sized individual, I LOVE reading about a man who adores and worships a woman who is on the bigger side, one who pushes the FMC’s insecurities away by just how much they love them/their bodies and how they find them perfect. I related to Daphne a ton with her struggles, from the HL situation to her own confidence issues, and the scene where she steps on the scale at her first ultrasound appointment, that line she spouted of to Fielding, it made my heart hurt so bad.

This book not only had Fielding facing his past and his own fuck-ups, but owning up to them, letting Daphne into his life completely to see his struggles to not only leave the past behind him but to be a better man for her and for their child. I love how he stepped up in his honesty, stepped up to protect her and empower her, even if that meant letting her stand up for herself and handle her issues alone…or mostly alone, against her absolute aaa-hat of an ex-fiancé. Anthony Adley. And, one again, fuck the Adley’s. Literally all of them at this point.

.. this one is a little tough for me to settle on a star rating. I liked it (for what we did get), but I didn’t love it.
- I had issues with the pacing. The chapters would jump weeks and months ahead at a time. I didn’t really feel their connection and chemistry because it all seemed to progress fast because of the time jumps and we didn’t see those bonding moments and growth between them.
- I could relate to Daphne’s insecurities and trust issues, but I also felt for Fielding because he hadn’t done anything to her to warrant her keeping him at arms length/questioning/shutting down on him at times.
- I expected more from the final scene with Anthony, he was a POS and deserved a lot worse than they let him off with.
- I wanted to see either the progression of Daphne’s relationship with her parents or her cutting them off completely. I wanted to see her finally stand up to them herself instead of Fielding having to do it.
- I also wanted an extended epilogue showing them getting married or already married and what their life would’ve looked like.. Them having more kids, Fielding finishing medical school, etc

But for what I did like ..
I liked Fielding. I like sweet low stakes fluffy romances as much as the next girl, but I also have a thing for MMC’s with rough tortured pasts, and watching their character arches. Some aspects of his past and how they kept coming up were a bit dramatic, but I loved seeing him forgive hisself and work everyday to be a better man for him and his girls. He was protective, passionate, attentive, and caring. Their spice was spicing, and in the end I’m glad they got their HEA.

I'm having mixed feelings about this one. When it was good it was great, but when it was bad it was very bad. Daphne and Fielding (yup, that's his name, nope it's not his last name or nickname, a lot of the names are super cringey) were likeable MCs and their chemistry was great. Fielding is very sweet and caring with Daphne. This book has plenty of spice, but not an overwhelming amount. The story was interesting: a one night stand that leads to an unexpected pregnancy that turns into a real relationship with a HEA. However, the angst and drama for drama's stake was turned up to 11. I know conflict is needed, but every other chapter had needless drama.

BookSirens said this book wasn't part of a series, but it definitely is. While I read it as a standalone and you could read it without reading any of the other books, I kept feeling like I was missing something. Low and below, once I got to the end of the book, all of the other titles in the series were listed. Fielding has a messy past that does get explained in this book, but was probably already covered in books previously. It kind of blindsided me since some of things were really not great and it made it hard to reconcile the character we'd already met with the literal bad guy he was.

Overall, I enjoyed "Full Out Fiend" despite some of my issues with it. I might even go back and read the other titles in the series.

Thanks to BookSirens for the free ARC, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Full Out Fiend is a interconnected standalone featuring characters who are friends and family. This book is Fielding and Daphne’s story. At the beginning of the book, Daphne is planning to call off her wedding to Anthony because he had his brother send her a text from Las Vegas that they had a “weekend pass” to do whatever and whomever they wanted for the weekend (basically giving himself permission to cheat). She no longer interested in marrying him, but she’s waiting for him to return to town to finish the breakup. Meanwhile, she’s still having her bachelorette party and meets Fielding at the bar. He seems to know something is off with her and they hookup for the night. After their third go around of the night, Fielding realizes that the condom tore and when he comes back into the bedroom to let Daphne know, she’s gone. He’s so taken with her he can’t stop thinking about her. She has some of the same feelings but Daphne has another problem: she’s pregnant. Even if they can work together to take care of their baby, can they get past the sins of his past and the meddling of her ex who can’t seem to take no for an answer?
I absolutely adored both of the main characters in this book. Even though the things that Fielding had done in the past were bad, he is trying really hard to be better for Daphne and Winnie. When he is talking to Daphne about how much he loves her and how he wants their life to be, it’s just swoon worthy. Daphne has been living in the back seat of her life for a long time and it’s awesome to see her come into herself. When she stands up to Anthony, I was literally like “yes, girl!”.

“We got this,” Fielding whispers smugly before he winks, rises up, and helps me to my feet. “We’re already the perfect team.”

Fielding Haas has been a side character throughout the entire Hampton world. He’s very much been seen as the villain in some aspects but I’ve always kinda rooted for him, at his core he’s just always seemed so broken. And after we really got to see the depths of his home life and upbringing in Fourth Wheel and how broken he truly was I’ve been salivating for his story. So, I could be more excited to get this surprise release from Abby.

Daphne is at her bachelorette party when she first meets Fielding. Fielding a glutton for punishment and seemingly instinctually attracted to what off limits can’t take his eyes off the curvy bride to be. Luckily for him, Daphne is calling off her wedding after receiving a text that her fiancé has granted himself a free pass, last hoorah in Vegas.

Daphne and Fielding’s chemistry is off the charts and the duo agree to have a no holds barred, hot af one night fling. They part ways but can’t stop thinking about each other. Especially after Daphne realizes she’s pregnant.

I don’t mind it but I know surprise pregnancy isn’t everyone’s jam but it really works well here. Fielding gets the perfect outlet for all the love and devotion he has been bottling up.

Daphne and Fielding are both battling huge insecurities but compliment and reassure each other wonderfully as they build their unexpected family. Mostly though it was so rewarding to see Fielding get his HEA.

This small town series has my whole damn heart. Another swooney and spicey couple by the amazing Abby Millsaps.

Blurb:
Fielding Haas has been struggling for years to pick himself up and dust off the pieces of his past. A past he’d do anything to forget and move on from. He’s slowly making his way out of the shadows. He’s been accepted to medical school, he’s functioning on his own with his twin brother on the other side of the country, and he’s volunteering as a first aid responder at a children’s camp. Life is going pretty well… Until a hurricane of a bachelorette party blows into town and turns his world upside down. Enter Daphne- the bride to be… He’s always had a propensity for going after what he can’t have… But for once, luck favors Fielding. With an unfortunate turn of events, Daphne’s fiancée wants a “free pass” for their respective bachelor and bachelorette weekends. He expects to be able to sleep with whoever he wants on his little getaway, but Daphne won’t take it anymore. She’s done being the person he can walk all over. So she takes matters into her own hands. She’s going to cancel their engagement.
She’s not a one night stand type of girl, but seeing Fielding looking at her with fire in his eyes has her thinking otherwise. Just one night of letting loose won’t kill her, right?

Read if you like:
- he falls first and hard
- small town romance
- he takes care of her
- mental health rep
- accidental pregnancy
- curvy FMC
- HEA

I am just eating up every book Abby writes. My next plan is to read the Boys of Lake Chapel series!!

Have I always been in love with Fielding? Yup! Even when he did what he did to Tori? Yeah, even then. There has always been something about Fielding Haas that drew me in. Then Abby surprises us with his book and I am even more in love with this man. Don’t at me that he doesn’t exist, I still love this broken boy so much.

Daphne has been in a relationship that she settled for. Never believing that she was worth more than what she had she allowed herself to settle for what was offered. Until a breaking point was texted to her and she made the decision to be the best version of herself that she could be. Enter Fielding to the picture. One this man got a glimpse of his angel he was all in and it was over for him. Yet years of being second rate has done enough to Daphne that she doesn’t believe anyone would truly see her. Fielding has that same feeling, that no one sees him for who he is and not the person he was putting out for the world to see. He has made the decision to do something with his life and when the whirlwind of Daphne falls into his path, they both find that they never had to settle for anything but who they are.

Abby did it again with this book. I have held out hope that she would write Fielding story. It isn’t a redemption story, it is a coming into himself. He has found himself and is out to prove that he is stronger from the mistakes he has made in the past. I love that he found his happy forever and in a woman that deserves him as much as he deserves her.

⚠️ One night stand
🚧 Accidental pregnancy
⚠️ He falls first (because of course he does!)
🚧 Curvy heroine
⚠️ Forced proximity
🚧 Themes of self-acceptance and forgiveness

Daphne realizes that what she thought was her happily ever after was just a sham when she gets a text from her fiancé's brother saying that they both had "free passes" for the weekend of their bachelor & batchlorette parties.
The wedding is off & she's decided to take her power back by having one night with a gorgeous man she meets at the bar.

Fielding is a shell of a man, who thought he'd never feel for anyone again until he locks eyes with a beautiful woman...too bad she's the bride-to-be, but Fielding always did like the off limits. He offers her one night, knowing that it won't be enough.

But that one night will change their lives....forever!

I went into this already not being a fan of Fielding due to the sh*t he pulls in the Hampton Hearts series, but I tried to keep an open mind. What I didn't anticipate is Abby being able to rip my cold heart open and making me care for F*cking Fielding.

Daphne and Field are perfect for eachother and I absolutely loved this story! Field has such a dirty mouth & the spice was delicious. They have to fight though so many battle of insecurities and people who aren't on their side, but they do and it is absolutely beautiful!

Fully obsessed with Fielding

We asked for it and the Queen delivered!!! If you haven’t read any of her previous book I highly recommend them, there’s a four book Hampton Hearts series, a duet, two standalones (this one and Fourth Wheel), and a novella coming soon that are all in with the same group of friends.
One more quick note, this is Fielding Hass’ book and amongst Abby’s readers we’ve got Fielding haters and lovers, I’m a lover from the beginning. Say what you will but you won’t change my mind.
Here’s the review.
Right off the bat this book had me excited because you can tell that Fielding has really been putting in the effort to work on himself. His heart is so big and even though it was horribly misguided in his youth people can change! Daphne is at the Oak for her bachelorette party. But it’s not obvious to anyone else, but Fielding and her bestie that she really doesn’t want to be there. She’s taking a stand and calling off her wedding and Fielding see the green light! Does he still have a temper? Yeah maybe a bit but now that aggression is more alpha male (your mine). This book is spicy and the character development is so good! I absolutely love the Hass twins and their sweet loving relationship. There is no pregnant women I know that wouldn’t want Fielding in their corner! So so so good!

I’ll be the first to admit that the accidental pregnancy trope is not high on my list of favorites but Abby Millsaps did some WORK to change my mind! Full Out Fiend is connected to Abby’s Hampton Hearts series. We get Fielding and Daphne’s story. Fielding has been a controversial character in the other books of the series but I’ve always liked him so I was really excited to finally get his story!

Fielding has done some not so great things in the past and he’s experienced a lot of hurt in his life. Daphne’s finding her strength after going through the motions in a lackluster 10 year relationship. One night together leads to a future neither of them expected.

In Full Out Fiend, we get Abby’s excellent mix of sweet, funny, steamy, and swoon worthy moments. Fielding steps up to the plate and shows us that he can be the supportive, self aware, loving guy that we all thought he had in him. Daphne’s self growth from beginning to end was fabulous. Daphne and Fielding complimented each other perfectly and really helped one another mature in the ways they needed it. I loved getting snippets with some other characters I’ve grown to love - Jake, Maddie, and Dempsey!

I would definitely recommend Full Out Fiend to anyone looking for a sweet and steamy read! It’s okay if you haven’t read the other books in the Hampton Hearts series but I recommend reading those too :)

My oh my Fielding! Seeing both Fielding’s and Daphne’s personal development this book just melts my heart. Now their first night together… 🔥🤤🤩.

“When I said sit, I meant sit. You can’t expect to enjoy the ride if you aren’t securely locked in place.” YES SIR I WILL SIT AND I WILL REMAIN SEATED.

The way he sticks up for Daphne with her parents made my heart flutter. Daphne was so used to it, that it didn’t really phase her and she didn’t know to stand up for herself. But Fielding taught her how and showed her what exactly she is worth.. and that’s everything. And the way he tells Anthony off every time is hot. He is just so protective and loving. Fielding also growing as a man and learning how to forgive himself and learn from his mistakes to better the future. Because we can’t change the past.

Daphne never judges Fielding for his past without talking to him first… and that melts my heart. From her in the beginning not standing up for herself or knowing her self worth. Then falling for Fielding and blossoming into a great self loving, wonderful mother, and girlfriend.

I just didn’t want this book to end. This book convinced me that every dark bad character deserves a chance for a happy ending. ❤️

Amazing Fielding is Everything!!!

I have wanted a Fielding book since the minute I met him in the early Hampton Heart stories. I love him sooooo much. He loves hard and protects even harder. If anyone is perfect for him (besides me), it is Daphne. She is someone who will take care of him as much as he will take care of her. But even better they need each other. Her family is horrible her ex-fiancé is an awful person, she needs a light at the end of the dark tunnel, in enters Fielding.

These two met in such a unique fun way. You think Daphne is about to be married, but the truth is her fiancé is garbage and she needs a knight to save her. She needs a Hass brother! And Fielding is perfect to step up to the task. He loves her hard, she protects him and calms his demons. They help make each other better, it is so beautiful.

My favorite relationship however, in this entire Hampton Hearts series is that of Fielding and his twin brother Dempsey, these two will bring you to tears. They shared a moment in this book that had me sobbing, “what if she’s the bright spot you need and deserve after so many bad years?” Genius and so beautifully said, Dempsey is my other boo, I love these Hass brothers so much. Read and love this story soooo much!

Oh my goodness, did I love this story! Full Out Fiend is full of learning to love yourself, accepting that your past does not need to dictate your future, crazy chemistry between the main characters Fielding & Daphne, some steamy scenes that will make you 🥵, and of course and lots and lots of love. Oh, and swooning, there was a bit of that for me too. 😉😏😚

Fielding and Daphne have chemistry from the first moment they make eye contact. Like that moment you see someone and know they are going to be important in your life. Fielding cannot help but be enamored by Daphne. Fielding, oh Fielding. The title of this encompasses him as a character so perfectly! He does not do anything in halves. He puts his whole being into everything he does, even if it might not be the best for him. If there has ever been a character trait I understand more, it is definitely that! Also, I think one of things about their relationship that I love the most is how they learned, together, to love themselves as they are, flaws and all. And, that they do deserve all the good things that come into their lives.

Once again, Abby gets me with all the little moments that happen in this story that make me smile.
LOVED, LOVED , LOVED!

What I didn’t anticipate? One night with Fielding might not be enough. Not only that—one night with him might change the trajectory of my life forever.

This book is just everything I needed!
I love a surprise pregnancy trope and this just played out perfectly for me.

Fielding and Daphne met on the night of her bachelorette party - the night she decided to make a big change to her life.
Their night together was hot - my face flushed a few times 😏 Fielding is a man who knows what to do in the bedroom.

Dragging out what Fielding did in his drunken stupor earlier in his life really added to the story. My heart hurt for him because you know he was in so much pain.

Once Winnie came into the picture Daphne and Fielding’s relationship continued to flourish. And it made me love Fielding even more - he was so protective over both his ladies.

Available on KU - read it and let’s talk about it. I couldn’t get enough!
