Georgia had went to Rio for a semester of college to study abroad, when she met Rodrigo. He was an extremely nice young man also studying communications the same as her. They seemed to hit it off from the very beginning, but he was keeping something from her so they broke up just before her time to return to the US. Over the years Georgia returned to Rio on solo vacations as she loved the city, but this particular year she managed to have an ATV accident landing with her leg trapped under it. She did not know how long, before she would be found. Until, a young boy, Sebastian came up to her with his nanny, Melba not far behind. They made arrangements to get her to the hospital where she later learned that Sebastian was Rodrigo's son. Lots of old wounds were opened for both Georgia and Rodrigo, since they did not part on the best of terms. Only Sebastian was starting to have some problems at school and refused to talk to either Rodrigo or Melba either one. He had immediately bonded with Georgia, but no one seemed to take notice that he latched onto her for dear life. She talked to him and played with him like a mother would. After, getting hurt Georgia did not have much choice but to cut her trip short heading home to Baltimore. Rodrigo decided fate had given him a possible second chance, and it was up to him what he did with it. He was going to do everything in his power to try to get Georgia back. He needed to come clean telling her the truth and hope she would forgive him. A powerful read of peer pressure, honesty, and second chances.

Her Patience and Understanding Was Finally Rewarded - It was an instant attraction between Georgia and Rodrigo, which took them on a whirlwind romance for a short period. However, Rodrigo’s insecurities and secrets caused them to break up. Fortunately, fate brought them back together years later, when Rodrigo’s son saved Georgia, but it would take time and effort on both their paths, to finally get the happiness they both desired.
I really enjoyed reading this interesting story, with characters who were emotionally crippled, but lovable and a precocious boy, who I fell in love with from the first sentence about him. I couldn’t stop reading once I started and I wanted to yell out that everyone should buy it now, as soon as I finished.

Georgia was an exchange student when she and Rodrigo met. From their first exchange the sparks ignited between them, and their relationship began but Rodrigo was withholding the real him from Georgia and when she questioned him, he told her to leave which she did ending what was developing into something beautiful. They both regretted their actions and often questioned their behaviors. Ten years later they meet again thanks to a charming little boy, but will the past repeat itself having Georgia giving up on Rodrigo because he can't tell the full truth. This story had me glued to the pages from start to finish to see how it ends.

Georgia and Rodrigo did their relationship their way. The lies and secrets took their toll and they lost years in between meeting again. Sebastian was a great addition to the story and added funny and sweet moments between the three. One thing held true for Rodrigo, no matter what he tried to hide, the truth always made its way to the top!!.

Rodrigo and Georgia meet while she was an exchange student in Rio. They dated for 6 months and it ended badly. 11 years later they find each other again. It takes work and patience on her part, but they're able to make it work. This is highly recommended!
In a wY this was a sad story with a happy ending because one person was frightened to tell the truth, when it finally happened all worked out as it should.
A delightful story set in Rio, Brazil. This book was well written and the journey of the couple was compelling. It was an easy and most enjoyable read. Thank you.
