Me lo leí porque me gustó la serie y necesitaba más contexto y sí, explica muchas cosas aunque siento que la serie mejora en lo que el material original falla, que es la constante falta de comunicación entre los personajes, y que constantemente te hace poner los ojos en blanco de frustración, pues si todos fuesen más honestos con su sentir y pudieran expresar como se sienten, otra sería la historia, pero claro, alguna problemática tenía que haber.

I feel like I flew through this and if I had the physical books, I would have gone even faster, but oh my god. I’ve only read the first three volumes so far and I think other comments might be referring to the entire series, so this is only about the first three.

THIS IS MESSYYYYYYYY. Daon needs to GET IT TOGETHER. Oh my god he really needs to grow a spine and grow up. I don’t understand how he could leave his parents and family but not leave these two random guys from his past???? Makes no sense to me. Also his sister is annoying too. Girl STOP CALLING JAEMIN. LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS. But seriously, Daon, cut. it. out. I’m getting so fed up with him because he literally is just a pushover and won’t stand UP. Then when Sunghyeon comes along like bro why are you throwing this away???!! This is your chance!!!

Jaemin = ticking me off
Soohyun = ticking me off
Daon = ticking me off
Sunghyeon = cutie patootie but at the same time he genuinely deserves so much better and lowkey they are not that close??? like call it a day and find someone new?

I also want to get to the tea about that broken wine bottle. I’m excited to watch the new drama after reading this too. Perfect timing!!

5 stars for the art, 3 stars for the story, maybe even 2.5

I love angsty stories, but this one was just annoying and exhausting to read because the main character never stood up for himself, never learned his self worth, and never showed any change or growth until the last few pages of the entire series. It became utterly exhausting to continually read the same types of scenarios over and over again as he was constantly manipulated and abused by his toxic relationships before he finally found a way out. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and I kept reading because I felt compelled to make it to the end so I could finally see the happily-ever-after ending. But man, getting there wore me out. This is not a book I’d read again, even though I loved looking at the art.

Leí estos manwhas cuando apenas estaban empezando a publicarse en Tapas hace como tres añitos, pero los dejé por una razón que ahora desconozco. Aunque no tienen la mejor historia (porque no la tienen), son, honestamente, bastante adictivos. Pero no adictivos de "oh, está entretenido. Leeré sólo un capítulo más y a dormir". Son adictivos nivel "voy a seguir leyendo esto hasta que mis ojos se cierren del dolor y el cansancio". O al menos así fue para mí, que tiendo a obsesionarme mucho con las cosas.
En fin, personajes guapísimos, pero con comportamientos más que cuestionables. Odio a los hombres, incluso a los guapos. Y esto es fiel argumento para reafirmar mi postura. Oh well.

Ugh, reading this was so draining and frustrating. Three out of the four main characters are seriously problematic—Jae-min is super manipulative, Su-hyeon is overly temperamental and abusive, and Da-on, who’s a victim of both, is so dependent that it makes his character feel all over the place.

The whole time, I just wanted to pull Seong-hyeon out of their world so he wouldn’t have to deal with this messy circle. But well, Da-on—who’s basically the center of this story’s universe—needs someone he can trust who isn’t manipulative.

Greget banget sama daoh. Cowok green flag didepan mata masih aja yang dipilih Jaemin. Bukan balas budi namanya, lu mah memperbudak diri, hadeh. Plotnya lamban banget, agak capek bacanya. Tapi mata langsung seger tiap liat sunghyun😍

I was completely sucked into this story at the beginning, but it eventually started to wear on me. All the flashbacks dragged the story down to a crawl at multiple points, and the main character's refusal to stick up for himself for so long was incredibly frustrating. I finished it because I needed to see how it ended, but it irritated me to have to wade through endless episodes of abuse and lies and zero boundaries.

I also felt the story flattened the characters fairly quickly-- at the beginning, they all seem to have their own lives, but it soon became strictly about the drama of their own terrible relationships with zero outside interests or lives. That was sad because I was interested in what they laid out at the beginning and wanted to see that develop more.

There's also the fact that the main character was groomed by an adult when he was a teenager.

Ultimately, I think the story just kind of got in its own way at being something really great.
