Grid Zero: Dark Times

Rate this book
This story is based on today's timeline. The socialist Democrats have just lost the 2022 mid-term elections and were infuriated that the American people had won. One week before the new Congress and Senate were to be sworn into office, the socialist along with thousands of DHS, FBI and other loyal government agencies fled with their families to five separate underground bunker complexes around the country that was built for ARMAGEDON.

No one was sure who gave the order. A GHOST nuclear ballistic submarine somewhere in the Pacific Ocean fired five ballistic missiles and World War III begun.

Very poorly written. Did anyone edit thud book? Looks like one continuous run on sentence which makes it hard to decide who's saying what. Boilerplate apocalypse story, very short, not even worth the 99 cents. The hero, and I use that term very loosely, has already killed 2 people in the first day. Pushy, knows everything happening from the start. Female is a helpless damsel in distress. Not worth the time to read.

Teaser

Thought this was a complete fictional novel. Turned out it only has four short chapters and refers you to their second book. I feel they should have listed the fact it was only a preview of the actual book. It dies start out with immediate action but the main character,Sam, really goes overboard killing people without even talking or seeing what their plan is since he is stealing from the communities supplies with no thoughts of anyone else.

Wanted to love

I really wanted to love this start of the series, but I cannot go on because it needs a lot of typos and punctuation and full sentence editing. The fast pace does not make up for that.

interesting

This is a good story, keeping my attention well. There are some editing errors but not bad enough to stop reading! I’m anxious to find out what comes next!

A novella about 2 people trying to cope when an EMP strike changes life as we know it. Very short, not standalone. An interesting read.
