My Demon of Air

I was already captivated by the political machinations in the first book and this one only deepened that for me. This time we followed events from the other side of the siblings, following Skye and Breeze as they tried to work out what had gone so sideways. I love how the author has given us siblings that grew up in largely the same way but are so different from each other, whether human or demon. I also adored seeing Skye and Breeze discover their independence and personal power, and all this while falling helplessly for one another. I get the sense that there’s a lot more going on than we can see at the moment, and I can’t wait to discover what the rest of the story is. My fingers are already itching to get a hold of the next book in the series.

I've been patiently waiting to see Skye's story in this series and I was not disappointed. Don't get me wrong, Blue and Sol were wonderful, but I've been just as curious as Blue wondering how her sister was making out after being sacrificed. Would she be too weak to handle her new situation and environment? I have to say that Skye really surprised me. I loved her sarcasm and her ability to play a part. It was something that had gotten her far in life already although those around her couldn't recognize the mask she wears, even her own sister. Reading about her past and why she always had to come off as the good, happy sister was heartbreaking in a way. From first glance, it seemed like Blue was the one working the hardest to keep their family floating, training and working two jobs in order for her sister to play piano, but Skye had her own tasks as well to keep everyone protected. Blue may have been a fighter, but that doesn't mean that Skye was any less fierce in her own way.

Like Sol and Blue, Skye and Breeze were very much opposites, soft vs hard, cold vs warm. But that was more so the surface characteristics that they showed. After they got to know each other a bit more and understand each other's situations, you could see how many layers they had in their personalities, what drove them to act the way they did, and what lies beneath the masks they wear. You could tell that despite being so different, they actually had quite a lot in common. They seemed to click really well with each other and it was fun to see them play their parts to fool those around them, similarly to their siblings, while they figured out exactly what was going on.

I'm interested to see what happens with the other princes now that Skye, Breeze, Sol, and Blue are all together. Did the brothers betray their only family or is there more to the whole situation like with most of the interactions in this series? It seems that there is usually a reason behind all of the demons' actions even if something doesn't come off as a positive thing at first. Is this the case with the other brothers or will there be a family rivalry about to happen?

It's my twenty-first birthday, and I feel it singing through my blood, that tonight, I'll be chosen as the Demon Sacrifice and dragged to the underworld: one of the Stolen.
This story takes place at the same time as the first in the series but it follows a different couple, Breeze and Skye. Breeze is Sol's brother and Skye is the twin sister of Blue, dragged to the demon underworld which is why Blue in the first story followed her there, to rescue her. I would recommend reading the stories in order as they do intertwine, especially at the end so it will enhance the reading experience to read the first one before this one.
I thought I loved the first book but this one was even better. Skye, the good girl, or is she really so good and sweet as it seems? And Breeze, the beast, or is he as beastly as he pretends to be? As individual characters I liked them but as a couple, I loved them!
I got some Beauty and the Beast vibes from this story, but cleverly woven in so it isnt obviously noticable. Hateful beauty and Beautiful beast, she is kidnapped by the beast and there was a ballgown and library with roses although that library scene definitely wouldnt make it into a Disney remake!
I am looking forward to reading the next demon brothers story, and seeing how the overall story evolves. Very deserving of 5 stars

Alluringly steamy enemies to lovers with a Beauty and Beast vibe.

We finally get to know what happened to Skye while Blue was walking a tightrope of intrigue with Sol. Skye is supposed to be the “good twin” but when she is kidnapped as a Soul Bond for a demon, she can let the mask fall and her true self emerge. I was very riveted by Skye’s inner strength and though she does not let her dark side normally show, she does accept that side. Breeze was my absolute favorite character so far in the series. The brooding alpha who has the gooey center only is beauty can find. I was also incredibly happy that Skye took every opportunity to embrace Breeze and show him that he is more than what people want him to see. I was hooked from moment one with this couple and can’t wait for the next book in the Rebel Demons series.

Not Your Typical Heroine!

Skye may be a new favorite heroine. She’s not conventionally strong or powerful, but she’s thoughtful and empathetic. She embodies, as Maxton says, “a quiet strength in [her] kindness”

I don’t typically like interconnected story series—because I find myself always skimming to find out more of the couple that came before. This series though, I absolutely adore so far. Each set of characters is truly compelling in their own right, and the way their experiences play together to weave the tapestry of the tale is incredible.

This author has a true talent for character building—and it’s refreshing to see a unique heroine, and hero. Breeze is not your typical alphahole—he’s wounded in his own way—broken but good, just like Skye.

This is a series about twists of fate, or perhaps flipping fate on its heels. Either way, it’s absolutely worth the read!

Epic Book

Demon Of Air is the 2nd book in this awesome series. This is Skye's story. And it's better than I imagined it would be. Blue and Sol's story was great, but this one just melted my heart. Skye is sassy, able to play a part without a second thought. People are used to seeing Skye sassy, and strong but little do they know, she hides behind these actions and isn't what they think she is. Skye's past just made me cry, she is such a great character. When you think about Breeze and Skye you think complete opposites, but they are so much alike. And they say opposites attract right? From the moment they meet it's sizzling, their chemistry is off the charts. This story has everything I want in a good book. It's really hard to put the book down once you start reading. Fantastic book!!!

Amazing

This is book two in the Rebel Demon series and though it cam be read as a standalone you will get more from the story if you read book one first. Most of the story takes place in the same time period as book one. This time we get Skye and Breeze's story . I love that we get more world building because the story takes place in the Kingdom of Air. We get to see more of the military aspect this time. I love the mix of enemies to lovers and beauty and the beast. Skye is an amazing fmc and stands up for herself and others. Breeze is fierce and smart but very gentle with Skye. They have great chemistry and lots of sexy fun times. I was completely drawn in from the start and didn't want to stop reading. I eagerly await book three

My Demon of Air is the second book in the Rebel Demons series and it was a doozy! The first book focused on a different couple, but this book shows readers Skye's story. While she has had a tragic past, Skye tries to put up a strong front to those around her. When she meets Breeze, well, is captured by him, she is surprised to find a sizzle between them that cannot be denied. Surprisingly to her, this demon prince cares deeply for her, and the Beauty and the Beast-esque undertones made my heart sore! They are adorable together and I was ferociously tearing through the pages of this story to see what would happen next. Lots of great world building, character development and passionate romance, I loved every minute of My Demon of Air! So excited for My Demon of Earth!

My demon of Air is the second book in the Rebel Demons series by Rosemary A. Johns.

This book is about Skie's POV. The story of when she was kidnapped before her twin Blue, went looking for her in the demon world. She was taken to the Demon of Air, a demon shifter. He's dangerous and might be her ennemi, but he see really? Breeze claim her as his Soul Bond, his secret. She's cought in a middle of a war and a battle is on it's way. Even if she's attracted to him, their is only a couple of days for her to find her twin and get back to the human world. After that, it's to late.

I have loved this book and Breeze and Skie relationship. And love the reunion between Skie and Blue. I have received and arc of this book from the author!

So... the first book sucked me in enough to make me miss a couple of stops on my daily commute - and this one is JUST as good!!! I loved Blue & Sol's story, and Skye & Breeze - heartfelt sigh ❤️ - I just can't.... Skye gets to shed being the perfect girl and her snark comes out in force once she ends up in the underworld and Breeze gets to embrace his inner beast. Wonderful as a stand alone, but I love seeing the story unwind as a series and I can't wait to see what happens with the demon of earth.
Meanwhile, I'll just reread the first two hot stories and giggle a bit at nuggets like:
"Will I need to learn a whole new set of sexy slang? Horn's deep? Ride my tail? Fang fell@tio?" 😂

The first chapter actually takes you back to the start of the first book but from Skye POV which I loved that we saw all the same events but from the other twins POV before she was sacrificed. Skye is almost a different character from how her sister portrayed her in the first book. She isn’t in need of saving if anything she is going to do the saving.

I really like Breeze in all forms, I like his protectiveness. I don’t like how he has been treated but that’s kinds the point.

The story follows their relationship as they get to know each other through all the challenges they face. Don’t want to say more as I’ll give spoilers.

Very easy reading and highly enjoyable.

Loved the second installment of this series! I love how the two books come together and intertwine. Love Skye and her connection to Breeze and how they have been through obstacles together. Skye is perfect for Breeze like Blue is perfect for Sol. Can't wait to see what the third book entails and what other adventures Skye and Blue will be in.

Breeze is a shifter demon that falls for Skye unconditionally. There are certain events throughout the book that they both have to overcome but it becomes a whirlwind of events that they both face. The way they come together is amazing and you can feel the emotions coming from both of them. Soo ready for book 3!

When Skye is stolen from her community on the Hill by Demons and then wakes up in a dungeon cell her world is turned upside down. Little does she know that the demon in the cell with her is the Prince Demon of Air who thinks she is her twin sister Blue and her Soul Bond. When they realise the mistake, things start happening on all fronts and they are put through some trying times but their love for eachother holds them together. I love how they banter with eachother as they grow in their love. A great follow on from the first book, and I'm looking forward to what they all get up to together in the next one!

The Demon of Air - book 2 in The Rebel Demons series and it follows Skye. Blue's twin sister from book 1. The quieter of the both of them but in this book and her dynamic with Breeze comes into her own. With plenty of sass, wit and sarcasm it was her banter with Breeze that i loved the most in this book. Breeze through was full of anxieties the main one being his self worth with who he is. I got the feeling that he was lonely and in that Skye & him had an affinity together in a way.

Yes theres a little bit of dark in this book but its Skye and Breeze that kept me gripped to it from start to finish. Im looking forward to getting my hand's on more books in this series

omg i just love Breeze. My Demon of Air is Skye and Breeze's story and boy was it good Skye is actually Blue's from My Demon of Fire's Twin and and Breeze is Sol's Brother, so we're keeping it in the family somewhat for the first two books. i really loved that first meeting where she offers him the blanket because he let her have it and is shivering i could already tell they would be perfect for each other with that scene and the banter between them so awesome. and the conclusion of this story has me highly anticipating The Demon of Earth

This picks up nicely from book one. Skye and Breeze are the Main Characters in tis one. I fell that they eventually, make the perfect pair. I loved the action and the interaction of the MCs and found this quite difficult to put down. I Loved this story and look forward to more of the Rebel Demons!!! No Spoilers, give it a read! Definitely Worth It!

This book is Skye and Breeze's story. Skye is Blue's twin and she too has been taken by a Demon thinking she is her sister. Skye has been taken by Breeze the Demon Skye is not going to take this lying down, Sge can as sarcastic, feisty and sexy as she likes. Breeze is an absolute sweetie. Breeze is noew my favourite Demon.
I loved this book and look forward to Demon Of Earth the next in the series,

This book grabbed me and kept me interested and reading till the end. These characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and no matter what happens you want to be there for them. This story seemed different, then everything that I read and it grabbed me keeping me interested. It moves along at a really great speed which makes for an easy read. This is a book that needs to be experienced and you will want to read more.

I was worried switching from Blue&Sol to Skye&Breeze I'd fall out of love with this world but if anything I love it even more. Blue was fierce, but Skye felt real in a way that a lot of heroines fail at. First, I love her reaction to being stolen. Her rebellion was less physical and more mental, making her and Breeze the perfect match since he was constantly valued only for his physical prowess.

This world is becoming more and more real and nuanced so I can't wait to read book 3!

Rosemary brings us a wonderful book in this awesome series! This is the story of Skye and Breeze, the demon of air. Their story begins with her being stolen being confused for her twin sister, and goes from there on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and events. Well written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you guessing. I loved reading this story and highly recommend it. Don't miss out on this book!!

Book 2 in the series did not disappoint. This is Skyes story and what a story it was.

Skye is sassy and she is taken to thr underworld where she meets Breeze. They meet and it's fireworks 🎆. Skye really comes into her own and we learn alot more about her.

Skye and Breeze must depend on each other to survive with all that they are facing. This couple can survive anything as long as it's with each other.

This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading book 1 first.

I look forward to book 3.

This is the second book in the series and it picks up where Blue's book left us.
We see the story from Skye's POV and its her story and Breeze's.
I found it very easy for me to connect with the story as we had previously read some things in Blue's book.
Well written characters with snark and banter between them that at points made me laugh out loud.
Fast paced with lots of plot twists this book kept me hooked on its pages and i really can’t wait for book 3!

This series is an amazing take on demons and as much as I loved the first book I think Breeze is my new favourite character, he is just so sweet!

Skye is sassy and sarcastic and almost the opposite of Breeze! This book really focuses on developing their relationship and through the ups and downs, it really is beautiful to read. Both characters always remain true to their core characteristics and I absolutely love everything about them as a couple!!

Skye is mistaken for her identical twin when claimed by demon Prince Breeze as his soul mate. However, as they start to fall for each other, Skye learns the truth, and time is running out to find Blue before they are trapped, and their memories are completely erased. Filled with action and intrigue to keep you hooked from beginning to end. Skye was hilarious. I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series and see just what will happen when Skye finds Blue.

Skye is a twin that lives in a town that the mayor does sacrifices to the demons. On the day of the hell and heaven ball the demons raid and she is taken. She meets the demon of air that is called Beast. She hates him but can't deny her attraction. This book has suspense and secrets and lots of chemistry

We finally get to see where skye has been all this time and her demon!! Oooo man do things start off shaky but I love how they bond over their time spent together. I’m really excited to see where this goes now that they’re headed to the earth sector of the underworld. Rosemary sure know how to tell a story that will have you hooked from the start.

Beauty and the Beast

Skye and Breeze have a connection before they even realize what's going on. A power play backfires and they choose each other over every thing else. Another great story in the Rebel Demon world getting to learn about the Air Realm and more key players. Loved the ending connection to the first book.
