This book is heart wrenching and very well written. It has some aspects that may not be right for everyone as it has a lot of jumping around. However, it flows with the story behind that. Please give it a chance. Brittany did a fantastic job. :)

Wow! This book was very well written, though you have to pay attention as the story line does jump around, but I love books that do this because I feel like it gives it more depth. I love books that help me work through my traumas, and boy does this one hit the spot! Check your trigger warnings though, because it is a bit dark. I can’t wait to see what this author writes next (:

Heart wrenching story of Ember's journey to become whole. After a tumultuous relationship with her husband, Derrick, Ember is in therapy to help herself heal. This book is told mostly through the therapy sessions and she describes her abuse during that time. It was difficult to read at times and made me want to shake some sense into her, but I was glad I stuck with it to the end so I could see her come out of the tunnel whole.
